Thank you to the committee of The Miniature Dachshund Club for the invitation to judge at their Championship Show, I had a really enjoyable day. Thank you exhibitors for the most amazing entry of 96 to go over, decisions were tough in the classes. The floor wasn’t particular friendly to some; some handled it better than others. Temperaments on the whole were good, not as many heavy exhibits as there were the last time I judged. Upper arms are still a concern, and now short ribbing too is becoming prevalent. Heads and mouths on the whole were good. Presentation in most was also much better, Loved my winners and was super proud to see my Best of Breed, Best Puppy and Best Veteran all win the top Best in show awards.
