Many thanks to my excellent stewards Kay Wills
and Rowan Hawley. SBD 1(0) 1. Coveney’s Emem Django. Liked the head and eye
on this one, good bone, very good coat, pleasing to go over, decent mover.
VD 1(0) 1. Kirkwood-Emery’s Ch. Helydon Laird Loki. Very nice 7½ year old,
pleasing in head and eye, lovely oval front, good ribbing and top-line,
lovely coat, very active on the move, just a touch narrow coming towards,
BV. PD 4(1) 1. Jones’ Bimini Song Sung Blue. Beautiful head and eye on this
puppy, super balanced in outline, lovely front, feet and top-line, super
coat which was well presented, so sound going and coming and so stylish
going round, DCC, his 3rd I was told and & BP, well done. 2. Mills-Jones’
Bimini Moonrise. Not quite as good in head and eye as winner, has a good
neck and front, well made so he is pleasing to go over, very good coat and a
sound mover, tail can detract at times. 3. Chance/Dodds’ Kaytian Keeper of
Flame over Dotlun. JD 1(0) 1. Corominas’ Almarxils Diego for Ruichango. This
red is a very happy little chap and is a very good mover, little plain in
head and feet could be better, he has a decent coat but can lose his
top-line at times. PGD 2(1) 1. Lindfield’s Nigel Nu at Zabannah. Not at all
happy today and objected to being handled, very good coat, not good in
front, movement difficult to assess. LD 4(0) 1. Moss/Silvester’s Griffingate
I Have A Dream. Very honest little chap who has a super coat, liked his head
and good front, very firm top-line and a decent mover. 2. Rose’s Ridanflight
Remo. This red is very different in type, good front and feet, lovely well
ribbed body, super coat and condition, good mover, tail set detracts going
round. 3. Kent’s Barratini Du Beke at Lokmadi. OD 2(0) 1. Gilkes/Storton’s
Dereheath Shaken Not Stirred at Birichino. Another very honest Dachshund,
liked his head and eye very much, shown in lovely coat and condition, good
front and feet, firm top-line, pleasing on the table with good ribbing and
strong quarters, very good mover too, held himself well going round, won
RDCC. 2. Thorn-Andrews’ Ch. Drakesleat Kumquat May. Another very typy little
dog, bit apprehensive on the table today, very pleasing in head and neck,
lovely body, rib and outline, kept leaning in on the move, just not his day,
I see he is the sire of both my CC winners, well done. GCD 1(0) 1. Gilkes/Storton’s
Dereheath Shaken Not Stirred at Birichino. Repeat. SBB 3(0) 1. Rose’s
Barratini Song and Dance with Rosencrantz. Found this one most pleasing,
very good head and eye, good front, neck, feet and top-line, very good coat
and a good mover too, BSpB. 2. Brown’s Payched Mulberry Marvel. Not enjoying
her day at all, very nervous, needs better feet, just would not stand on
show, movement not good. 3. Goodbrand’s Bargemon Soft As Starlight for
Braesnobel. PB 5(1) 1. Jones’ Bimini Moonlight. Lovely baby at 6½ months
full of promise, she has all the essentials to be a good one, liked her head
and dark expressive eyes, good front and feet, very good rib and top-line
all topped with a good coat, very sound and went round with style. 2.
Kilroy’s Rozelle Rosalie at Janacop. Very nice type red, pleasing head,
needs better feet and runs up behind on the move. 3. Chugg’s Lordscairnie
Glitter Love for Templestowe. JB 5(1) 1. Sieminski’s Dajean Surely A Vision.
Lovely red, admired her head and good front and thick padded feet, strong
top-line and in beautiful coat and condition, very sound and lovely going
round, handler must realise how good she is and help her more, BJ. 2. Rose’s
Barratini Song and Dance with Rosencrantz. Repeat. 3. Mills-Jones’ Carlita
Jellie Baby. PGB 7(2) 1. Sieminski’s Dajean Surely A Vision. Repeat. 2.
Kirkwood’s Helydon Vexy Vixen JW. Liked her outline and she is decent in
head and neck, very good top-line and a lovely coat, very active on the
move, needs better feet. 3. McDermott’s Bardot’s Brigitte*** (imp SWE). LB
4(0) 1. Kirkwood-Emery’s Helydon Tartan Talula JW. Good one, lovely head,
super front and feet, good neck and top-line, very good ribbing and a strong
rear, has a very good coat, lovely mover and very stylish going round. 2.
Jones’ Bimini To The Moon and Back. Very nice for type, good neck and
outline and sound to go over, could use tighter feet, she needs to learn how
good she is and move and show better. 3. Kilroy’s Blackvein Rambler at
Janacop JW. OB 6(2) 1. Thorn-Andrews’ Drakesleat See No Evil. Very dark
brindle with a beautiful head and lovely dark eyes giving true Dachshund
expression, good neck, front and feet, lovely ribbing and a strong top-line,
super quarters which give her such good rear impulsion, well textured coat,
a very sound Dachshund, won BCC & BOB, her 3rd I was told, well done. 2.
Dance’s Emem Autumnal Sunshine JW. This is another very good Dachshund,
presents an immaculate picture on the stack, reachy neck, good front and
feet, firm backline, well angulated hindquarters, superb coat and
presentation and uses herself to full advantage going round, just preferred
the head and eye on winner, RBCC. 3. Blackburn’s Stargang Sapphire and
Steel. GCB 3(0) 1. Rose’s Barratini Song and Dance with Rosencrantz. Repeat.
2. Kilroy’s Rozelle Rosalie at Janacop. Repeat. 3. Brown’s Lunabaia Lily Of
The Valley.
