Thank you for a wonderful entry and some lovely dogs to judge. In many classes I was having to make minute decisions between the winners. All my class winners were capable of the top spot and many 1st and 2nd places will often change. It’s a long hard day at crufts for the exhibits and the dogs with true grit shone through. In most temperaments were great however several were short in upper arm and although they had good ribbing many lacked the spring in the rib cage that I feel is important. Some were just too big for me. The UK breed standard says Ideal weight 10 lbs with a desired maximum weight of 11lbs and I’d been asked to judge to that by the RKC so several paid the price. It was an honour for you to let me judge your dog’s, Thank you. Laura Sexton
Veteran Dog (2,1)
1st: MILLS JONES Ch Carlita Sunrise -A lovely gentleman who had perfect teeth,
clean and correct full dentition . nice masculine head. Good shoulder placement
excellent ribbing nice coat . He moved positively and has correct angulation
throughout just lost out on best veteran on size.
Minor Dog (1)
1st: KIRKWOOD EMERY Helydon Xtra Xpecial- I loved this baby. He has a lovely
masculine head correct shape eye. Good reach of neck into well placed shoulders.
He is not over angulated so moved well for a baby always keeping his topline.
Amazing feet and he was so well presented. Excellent temperament and at times
rather over excited but this is so nice to see a baby really enjoying himself.
BPIB
Puppy Dog (4)
1st: CROSSMAN & KENNEDY Moonshe Make Bee Leeve. -Lovely eyes and expression. He
has a super coat and is of the correct size which many weren’t. Another exhibit
with lovely feet a steady mover.
2nd: MAGRI Gilcoru Luigi Rozamie- I loved this dog however he lost out today as he was rather flighty and needs to get out bit more, good coat and a lovely head . Excellent ribbing a bit bigger than one.
3rd: SIEMINSKI Dallandor Burdock-A nice dog but a bit big for me when there so much quality in a class. He has a good enough coat and fair ribbing a nice head and was well presented.
Junior Dog (6)
1st: JONES Ch Bimini Song Sung Blue- Thee first three in this class will often
change places as all were lovely. It was down to minuscule decisions. The winner
is a super dog and a real favourite of mine. Good cat well presented. He carries
a lovely head on a strong neck into well laid shoulders. Great feet. He has good
movement but in the challenge he was just losing his topline.
2nd: MULLEN Rozelle Fools Gold- Another nice youngster with who I really liked as soon as he entered the ring, A red with a good coat and he is the correct size. Another with lovely feet and good ribbing. Correct eye shape and nice steady mover.
3rd: MILLS- JONES Bimini Moonrise at Carlita- Another lovely boy presented really well. Well sorung ribs and good angulation throughout. He was a bit twitchy today and threw away a higher placing. Kept his topline on the move.
Yearling Dog (5)
1st: COROMINAS Ch Almarxils Diego for Ruichango JW- A lovely red dog who I have
admired for awhile. I was not disappointed as I finally got to go over him. He
is well constructed throughout and presents a well balanced picture. Correct
front angulation which allowed him to reach out when going around the ring. An
excellent temperament that shone through when moving and driving around the
ring. No exaggerations and everything in the correct place. A well deserved RCC
2nd: GARRIGOS Mateo Almarxils Mr Patton- Another excellent red exhibit from the same kennel as the winner. A lovely type who was well constructed throughout except a little larger than I would ideally like and shorter in upper arm which didn’t allow the smooth front movement of the winner. Extremely well presented and another outgoing personality.
3rd: CORNER Carcorn Raphael's Racer- Correct size boy who was a steady mover the whole time. He has a good head but could do with a little more forechest to finish the picture.
Post Graduate Dog (3)
1st: LINDFORD Nigel Nu at Zabannah- A compact dog with good proportions
throughout . A reasonable head and moved ok but his coat let him down today.
2nd: LIVINGSTON & WESTWOOD Rednapp Sandbanks- Although this young man had the best coat of the class he was not very enthusiastic on the move . He also tucked up too much.
3rd: WARD-BLOWER Dajean Surely Keifer at Willowmist. He has a reasonable coat and okay ribbing but unfortunately was moving close in front today
Limit Dog (10,2)
1st: HOWELLS Fallowmill Time Traveler JW- I really liked this dog. There is
nothing over exaggerated about him. He has everything in the right place . A
delightful head and expression good reach of neck and true steady mover.
Excellently presented just unfortunate that other class winners pulled out all
the stops today.
2nd: ROSE Ridanflight Remo- A nice red boy with an excellent harsh jacket. Lower
to ground than the winner but a nice steady mover. good angulation front and
rear and good shoulder placement.
3rd: BEACH & PARTRIDGE Cardaxians Bambam Bay. A nice type with a reasonable coat just a bit too big . Moved okay but was close in front. Rear okay.
Open Dog (10,1)
1st: BUSTA Little Bustard Vitoraz-Super little dog. Lovely head and expression
with correct eye shape. Nice shoulders running into a lovely topline which he
held in profile. Good length of ribbing and great coat texture. This little dog
was not over exaggerated in any way and showed himself to perfection. DCC and
BOB
2nd :ZWOFERINK SCHUT Queenlord Planck Epoch- another lovely dog who was an excellent mover gliding around the ring. Lovely head and expression. A close decision between the first three in this class. Lovely correct angulation at the front just a little erratic coming and going which was the deciding factor.
3rd: BUSTA M/cmku Ch Besame Mucho Vitoraz- the first three in this class were very similar in type. Another harsh coat and masculine head. he moved freely around the ring but I preferred the compact winner.
Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Dog (4)
1st: DANCE Ch Emem Solar Power JW This class has to be admired just the fact
that they can be trained! He is a worthy champion. a good steady mover and
correct size . Nice coat well presented. Well muscled.
2nd :KILROY Blackvein Cupid at Janacop- Nice type with a good coat. Lovely head and reasonable feet unlucky to meet the winner who just had a bit more sparkle.
3rd: GILKES & STORTON Dereheath Shaken Not Stired at Birichino- this dog has a beautiful head and expression . He moved steadily around the ring . He has rear angulation and a reasonable coat.
Veteran Bitch (5,2)
1st: WEST Byabye Brillare with Archidax- A harsh coated red had good ground
clearance. Moved out with drive and determination obviously enjoying her day.
She had excellent dentition .She had a tough challenge for BV however she was
smaller and more compact than the lovely dog veteran.
2nd:MALLINSON Drakesleat Have a Yen for You- A nice little bitch with a good coat . Lovely head and reasonable feet.
3rd: CROW Compania Pandora- Good head and expression. A good steady mover covering the ground well. Good rear angulation a reasonable coat for age but it could be better. And she was quite over weight today.
Minor Puppy Bitch (3,1)
1st: KIRKWOOD EMERY Helydon Xeptional Xaya- two very nice puppies so a close
decision. This young lady had a good steady movement and was unflustered by the
occasion. Good proportions throughout and should mature into a very nice bitch.
2nd: ROSE Merryline Marta with Rosencrantz- A lovely type with melting head and
expression she had the better coat of the two and was similar in type however
the winner was just that much steadier.
Puppy Bitch (4)
1st: O'CONNELL Almarxils Flamenco Dancer at Llennocor-A super little red girl
with a lovely head and reach of neck. Good shoulders and length of ribbing . A
little unsettled on the table but a steady mover coming and going. As her
confidence grows she’ll do really well. Challenged hard for best puppy but lost
to the confident puppy dog.
2nd:HUTCHINGS Collidach Delta Storm- A nice bitch with a lovely head . she had
ok movement and was steady coming and going although at times she was close
behind.
3rd: FLETCHER Collidach Dusty Storm.- A rangy girl that really was too big for me. However she had a good coat and moved ok. A few more ringcraft lessons would help with her standing to present her at her best.
Junior Bitch (9)
1st: JONES Bimini Moonlight- This delightful girl had everything I liked. Well
proportioned throughout lovey head and expression. Good reach of neck into well
laid shoulders .Her good coat was presented perfectly. Nice length of ribbing
and good angulation front and rear which allowed her to stride out around the
ring. She came into her own in the challenge and really started to shine. RCC
2nd: MULLEN Rozelle Old Flame- Another of good size being not too large . Slightly Lower to the ground than the winner but still had ample clearance. A nice harsh coat and took my eye when moving as she strode out with purpose.
3rd: KILROY Rozelle Rosalie At Janacop. A close decision between 2nd
and 3rd. both quality bitches . Nice tight elbows wrapping around a
well sprung rib cage. The 2nd just had the better coat today.
Yearling Bitch (11,1)
1st: LAZZARETTO Queen Lord Int/Nld Jch. A super little bitch , full of
personality. She took my eye as soon as she came in the ring. Well-proportioned
throughout without exaggeration. Typical head and expression lovely reach of
neck. Good length of rib which were reasonably well sprung with tight elbows.
Good ground clearance. She moved with drive and purpose enjoying her time in the
ring. Sparkled in the challenge winning the BCC
2nd:KIRKWOOD Helydon Vexy Vixen JW A compact little girl who was a steady mover
covering the ground with ease. A nice harsh coat and presented to perfection a
very nice type.
3rd: MILLS-JONES Carlita Jellie Baby JW another nice youngster who will have a
bright future . A good coat , nice expression and well proportioned throughout.
Moved really well just a bit larger than the first two.
Post Graduate Bitch (16,2)
1st: DANCE Emem Joyful Sunshine JW- An exuberant young lady full of herself.
Great coat and excellently presented would just prefer a stronger head but
overall a quality lady that moved well coming and going with correct parallel
movement. Neat feet and good ribbing.
2nd: HOWELLS Fallowmill Story Time- Well presented with a good coat. Nice head
and correct eye. Super feet but could do with harsher leg hair. Moved well and
confidently.
3rd: ROSE Ridanflight Renata Good head and correct eye and nice length of neck.
Super coat . A fair length of ribbing and well muscled. Moved well around the
ring but just lacked a little confidence.
Limit Bitch (11,1)
1st: MULLEN Rozelle Kamiras Year. A striking outline and everything in the right
place. Nothing over exaggerated . Very feminine head and well angulated
shoulders and rear Moved well coming and going and kept her topline throughout
the class.
2nd: KIRKWOOD-EMERY Helydon Tartan Talula JW A nice type and a tough decision
between 2 and 3 well presented which took her to 2nd place. Great
coat and very out going. She has a lovely rear end.
3rd: JONES Bimini To the Moon and Back everything to like about this girl.
Compact steady mover . everything correct in her conformation was not as tidy in
coat as 2nd place.
Open Bitch (15,3)
1st: BORRONI It Ch Uvamora's Campanita- What a super class to judge. I was
spoilt for choice. A petit red bitch who was a lovely type . Nice feminine head
and lovely eye shape. A good length of ribbing that were reasonably well sprung
, tight elbows and correct angulated shoulders. Neat rear end which she used to
drive around the ring.
2nd: GARRIGOS MATEO Prt/Lux/Slo Ch Almarxils Llimona WW24 EQ24 A good harsh
coated lady. Good proportions front and rear so moved with ease around the ring,
I just preferred the size of the winner.
3rd: BUSTA Veni Vidi Fugi Vitoraz Another red bitch with a super harsh jacket.
Lovely head . Good length of neck , nice ribbing, well muscled throughout and
Full of substance. Moved really well.
Good Citizen Dog Scheme
Bitch (7)
1st: DANCE Ch Emem Letty Bee Sunshine HW ShCEx OSW A nice compact bitch who has
everything in the right place moved well and commanded the ring in this class.
Would just prefer a harsher coat.
2nd: WEST Byabye Brillare with Archidax JW
