My thanks to Hayley Reynolds for her quiet, efficient stewarding.
I was pleased with the overall quality of these delightful little dogs and, on the whole, temperaments were good.    Pleased to see that my BOB was Reserve Best in Show and my Best Puppy was Best Puppy in Show.

Minor Puppy Dog  (2,1a)
  1.   Stephenson’s  WISTEX PERFECT STORM.     What a nice puppy to start off with, not much wrong with this lovely baby. Nice coat texture. At 7 months old he is quite mature for his age, super head shape with correct eye, good neck leading into a sound front assembly with good pro- sternum.  Strong topline with ribbing carried back, well turned stifles, he moved true fore & aft and showed very well.     BEST PUPPY IN BREED ……and he went on to BEST PUPPY IN SHOW.
Puppy Dog  (4)
  1.   Peek’s  MILKWOOD’S MAY BUD.  Nicely balanced pup with a lovely outline, well put together,  neat front with tight elbows,  good depth & length of ribbing, firm topline, well bent stifles, he moved well with parallel action maintaining his outline.
  2. Hayward’s  FOXEARTH FRANK ZAPPA.   Promising youngster who needs time to mature, a little taller than 1, masculine head with good length of foreface,  nice front with tight elbows, ribbing could be longer underneath, good hind angulation, sound on the move.
  3. Stone’s MILKWOOD’S MAY TIME.

Junior Dog (5)

  1. Rose’s RIDANFLIGHT GILCORU GINO.  Liked this red boy for his overall balance and outline.  In good coat. Lovely expression with dark pigment & correct eye shape, sound front assembly with good pro-sternum and depth of keel, ribbing carried back, well constructed hindquarters, he moved parallel fore & aft maintaining his outline.  RES. CC.
  2. Thorn-Andrews DRAKESLEAT GUD NEWS.   Promising 11 months puppy, lovely type, masculine head, good reach of neck with well placed shoulders, tight elbows, ribbing follows through nicely, good topline & tailset, nice turn of stifle, he moved out well, just needs maturity.
  3. Kirkwood-Emery’s HELYDON XTRA XPECIAL.

Post Grad Dog  (3,1a)

  1. Price’s COLLIDACH THOMAS TANK.   Placed 4th in Junior,  aptly named as he is a larger type but he a sound young dog of good breed type. He has a masculine head with dark eyes & good ear carriage, neat front with good feet, well ribbed with firm topline, sound on the move.
  2. Mullen’s ROZELLE FOOL’S GOLD.   Liked him for type & size, neat forehand with sufficient pro-sternum & depth of keel, ribbing carried back, on the stack he has a tendency to drop on his quarters, maybe roadwork would strengthen him, on the move he is parallel and maintains his outline.
Limit Dog. (3,1a)
  1. Howell’s FALLOWMILL TIME TRAVELER JW.   Good overall balance and correct size,  he has a lovely head & expression, well presented harsh coat, sound front, well ribbed, good bend of stifle, he maintains a nice outline both stacked and on the move, true fore & aft.

  2. Corominas’ CH. ALMARXILS DIEGO FOR RUICHANGO JW.   Attractive red male with all the right attributes, nicely constructed front with tight elbows, good depth of keel & ribbing which is carried back, firm topline, good bend of stifle, he is nicely balanced and correct size, moved well, appeared to be a little out of coat.
  3. Rose’s RIDANFLIGHT REMO.
