Many thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge BIS, it was an honour and great pleasure. Thanks to my stewards and those working in the kitchen who served a lovely lunch. BIS Tite's Ch Phaeland Special Driver at Rijobeau, a beautiful red s/s dog with a classic conical head, lovely dark almond eye and high set ear. Long elegant neck running into a well laid shoulder and prominent pro sternum. Good ribbing and oval front. Strong loin, well angulated strong well muscled quarters, moved really well with enthusiasm and attitude. Maintained a level topline and good tail carraige. I was delighted to award him BIS. RBIS Seath's Hella's Ozlem at Sunsong (imp Nor), s/w bitch with a strong houndy head, nice crested neck leading to good front with deep brisket and well ribbed. Strong short loin, good angles all round. Lovely harsh coat, moved soundly with a purpose. BPIS Hunt's Carpaccio Midnight Lace, very attractive sh/r m/s bitch, she has a typical houndy head, dark almond eye, high set ear, long elegant neck, good bone and neat feet, oval front and good depth of keel, well ribbed and short loin. Good strong well muscled quarters, she moved really well with good topline and tail carriage. RBPIS Higgins' Meganhol Black Muscateer of Leveliss, beautiful s/s b/t dog showing great promise. A strong houndy head with kind expression, good pro sternum, deep keel,and plenty of bone. Well ribbed, strong loin and topline, good muscular quarters, moved well.
BV Higgins' Ch Leveliss What She Said, a lovely s/s b/t with a lovely classic head. Good eye shape, nicely placed ear and beautiful expression. Good length of neck, well laid shoulder, oval front with good depth of brisket. Moved well maintaining a level topline.

MPB (2)Dance's Emem Gloria Sunshine quality puppy throughout ,beautiful head, nice width in front & rear , good length of ribbing just flowed round the ring totally in tune with her owner. Certainly one to watch in the future. 2 Lancasters Drakesleat Midas touch over Pellismer different type to 1 slightly forward on the shoulder, good length of ribbing moved well BOB BP. P (1,1abs) 1 Dance s Emem astral traveller another quality puppy. Little to choose between her & her sister made of superb construction excellent front & rear construction. Would just liked to have seen her move better think she was just a little unsettled on the day. J (1,1abs) Furneaux s Bassodon zugzwang well balanced good spring of rib & length. Nice front with good front & rear angulation. Moved well & well handled RBOB. Pg (1,1abs) 1 badman s Kenquince caramel latte. Look good stacked but on the move tends to toe in when coming towards Nice reach of neck lovely head with kind expression. O (2,1abs) 1 Dance's Emem all het up. Looked amazing for her 10years congratulations to her breeder Lovely construction. Moved exceptionally well

Higgins' Ralines Just Jewels, black/tan male, little bit stuffy in neck, had good front & shoulders, would prefer more length to rib; moves well & held a level topline. P (4,1, 1): 1. Young's Dolyharp Rhythem & Blues with Willowheath', 8 mth male with attractive head, correct mouth & dark eye, good length to upper arm with well shaped front & prominent sternum, good length of rib and moved out well for age, good coat condition. 2. McCarthy's Nagshall Just Be Lucky, feminine bitch a little more immature than 1, lovely head & dark eye, good length of neck and well shaped front but would prefer more length of upper arm, ribbing ok, moves well with good topline. 3. Whitney's Charlinea Sahara. J (1) 1. McCarthy's 'Nagshall Just Lucamac', overall well constructed 9 mth cream male, good size conical head with dark eye & correct mouth, well shaped neck & filled front with good length of upper arm, well extended rib and correct bend of stifle; moves true with drive & will tighten with maturity. RBOB & BP. PG (5) 1. Hall's 'Dinkidax Midnite Charmer', black/tan male of good size, slightly higher on the leg, attractive conical head & dark eye, good length of neck into well filled front, would prefer more length of upper arm, good ribbing & tight feet; moved true with level topline & had good outline stood. 2. McCarthy's 'Nagshall Port Alice' J.W., attractive cream bitch with feminine well shaped head, dark eye & correct mouth, well placed shoulders, front and ribbing ok, moved out well holding good outline; preferred overall angulation of 1. 3. Broad's 'Eldmour Sea Lord of Dinkidudlor'. L (2): 1. Earley's 'Lilacfen Sonny Delight of Yelva', silver dapple male of good size in full coat, well shaped masculine head, would prefer more length of neck, well filled front & good length of upper arm, good length of rib with level topline; overall good angulation and moves well when he concentrates! 2. McCarthy's 'Nagshall Port Au Prince' J.W., feminine cream bitch with conical head & correct mouth, slightly narrower in front than 1 & would prefer more length of upper arm, good condition, level topline & tight feet, moves ok. O. (4) 1. Broad's Neertanauf Sea Magic J.W. Sh.CM., understated red male with correct conical head, masculine with dark eye & correct mouth, good length of neck into well shaped front, upper arm ok and good extension of ribbing, well angulated with good bend of stifle; won on his movement today which is true & drives. BOB. 2. Young's Willowheath Silver Charmer, silver/dapple bitch of a more compact size, head a little petite, would prefer more length of neck, good angulation front & rear with good rib extension and level topline; movement ok, a little close. 3. Quality puppy or correct type very well balanced throughout, good reach of neck going onto good shoulder placement, good length of ribbing & undercarriage moved extremely well & expertly handled RBOB & BP J (3,1)1 Seath's Hella S Ozlem At Sunsong (Imp Nor). Caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring. Superb construction good front with prominent prosternum, correct shoulder placement, good length of ribbing, firm topline nice rear angulation move like she owned the ring. Expertly handled. BOB. 2 Fitzgerald's Waggington Sophia at harlisun. Nicely balanced dog. Looked good stacked and moved well. PG (2,1)1 Row's Bolorias Tiger Lily. Nice both have of correct type but would have preferred more width in front. Good firm topline at all times, good front & rear angulation. L(2,1)1 Howlett & Prowting's Bolorias Arabella, good front & rear angulation. A little short in undercarriage, moved well. O(3,1)1 Seath's Sunsong Wish Me Luck. Smaller type, but made correctly nicely balanced throughout moved with purpose. 2 Langridges Tendrow elberta Sh CM, nice head & good reach of neck but a little short in upper arm. Nice rear angulation

I should like to thank the Southern Dachshund for inviting me to judge at their lovely show. There have already been some lovely comments from exhibitors and I echo what they say that is really is a garden Party atmosphere which is down to the committee and their helpers. As for lunch I can just imagine what the exhibitors were thinking as they went through the hall and saw a magnificent spread, it was really wonderful. I should also like to thank my very efficient steward. Smooth Haired MP (2). 1. Higgin's, Meganhol Black Musketeer of Leveliss. Slightly taller than second. Beautiful head and a lovely expression. Good front and neck. Very well balanced for one so young and a very good mover. BP and RBPIS. Well done. 2. Tite's, Phaeland Sweet Dancer. P (1). 1. Tite's, Rijobeau Caught on Camera. Furneaux's Shardaroba's Silent Witness, shaded red dog built on a larger frame, would prefer less length but well constructed masculine dog with well shaped head, good length of neck & well placed shoulders, correct front & well muscled, moved true with drive. 2. Duchesne's Darsoms Zambia of Scandell, shaded red dog of a more compact size, well constructed with good length of rib and well angulated, tight feet and level topline, movement a little closer than 1. L (5,2) 1. Burke & Manston's Wardax Indian Summer by Bonavoir, shaded red male, well constructed and of good size, well shaped masculine head with correct mouth, good lengthof upper arm with well filled chest; moved true with drive & held level topline, clean underline & good rear angulation. BOB. 2. Duchesne's Bronia Priam of Scandell, dog of smaller size, well shaped head with correct mouth, chest ok, would prefer more length to upper arm & rib, good rear angulation & held topline on the move. 3. Marsh's Marshwick Morning Cloud'. O (2,1) 1. Duchesne's Darsoms Zane of Scandell, well shaped masculine head, correct mouth would prefer darker eye, prominent sternum with well shaped front, ribbing ok with good angulation front & rear and held a level topline; moved well and true.
