Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge, I think this was one of the best atmospheres at a show I have experienced. The dogs I judged on the day were all in superb condition, I am pleased to say that on the whole mouths were fine, temperaments were wonderful, but for me too many ribs/keels stop between the front legs and I was also disappointed at how many, especially youngsters, were either too deep in chest and/or too short on the leg I do like to see daylight, I know I am repeating myself. May I also thank my Steward Ian Seath for his help to keep things running smoothly. Junior Handling

Junior Handling (6-11yrs) 1 Kieron Alton aged 7, Now I know I am bias but our smooths do get a bad press at times, well just watch this little super star in the making with his red bitch. The 2 were in total harmony with each other, he was in control at all times and she was eagerly listening to everything he said to her. He has a good future and I so hope he keeps it up showing as he has a real talent and empathy with his dog. (12-16yrs) 1 Abigail Levene aged 13 2 Bryony Fossett aged 15, I believe if I was waiting for one to make a mistake we would still be there. Both these young ladies got the best they could from their dogs, there were both aware of exactly what was going on where I was and what their dogs were up to. It was so difficult to split them.

AV Standard O Stakes 1 Valentine, Morailsa Secret Script Tiffwazz Black and tan dog with a good strong head, nice length of neck with good shoulders moves well when he settled. 2 Fossett, Africandawns Night Lover for Brysdax Red dog with a beautiful masculine head, moved well, good front and ribbing, in wonderful condition. 3 Coverley, Aventine Dawn Patrol. AV Miniature O Stakes 1Fossett, Lokmadi A Boy Named Sue JW 2 Hemming, Clipperdown Gipsy Woman 3 Green, Neertanauf Jack Jones. Wendy Starkey
