This was my 1st visit to this show but I know it won't be my last. Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge on the day, I think this was one of the best atmospheres at a show I have experienced. The dogs I judged today were all in superb condition, I am pleased to say that on the whole mouths were fine, temperaments were wonderful, but for me too many ribs/keels stop between the front legs and I was also disappointed at how many, especially youngsters, were either too deep in chest and/or too short on the leg I do like to see daylight. May I also thank my Steward for her help to keep things running smoothly.

Has a lovely head, good length of neck flowing into a well constructed front, holds her top line at all times and moves true. 2 Upton Denval Distinction. A 7 month black & tan dog he has a very nice shape with a good conical head, plenty of ribbing just needs to settle. P (3) 1 Oxley Dinkidax Phyllisia Black & tan bitch nice compact shape with a lovely head, nice prominent keel good ribbing, well placed shoulders moved well holding her top line. 2 Upton Denval Temptation A shaded red bitch like her litter mate in earlier class was a little unsettled, nice shaped head good front holds top line. 3 Shutt Donnadoon Waterloo Sunset. J (2) 1 Melbourne & Holdsworth Stargang Glimmer at Melriding RBOB Black & Tan bitch . A nice famine head with a nice shaped eye. Good length of ribbing and level top line, good angulation and moved with drive. 2 Callow Garthorne Jackson Black & tan dog Again a nice shape with a good length of leg and nice placed shoulders good top line. Sp Y 1 Melbourne & Holdsworth Stargang Sea Fever At Melriding 20 month brindle bitch, she is a nice size with enough ribbing, a good prominent keel a nice head, she has good angualtion and holds her top line. PG (3) 1 Kent Lokmadi On Silent Wings JW A red bitch of a nice size, good pro sternum with well placed shoulders, good length of ribbing, good angulation, nice tight feet. 2 Collins Irenvy Pretty Boy With Papasalguod Black & tan dog a larger type but has good length of leg, had a good hound head good front and moves well. 3 Walker Donnadoon Tiger Feet For Dorenian. L (4,1) 1 Kent Lokmadi Goodnight Irene JW. BOB This was 1 of the toughest classes of the day they were 3 lovely dogs. A Black & tan bitch. I have admired this lady for a while and was not disappointed now I had the chance to go over her. A good femine head with a well constructed front moves well holding her top line and had good angulation. 2 Shutt Kissed By The Moon Das Casa Dos Quadros Of Donnadoon (imp, Prt). Just my type a dachshund in miniature, stood proud and prominent of good proportions only to 1 as on the move was pulling and lost shape. 3 Jamieson Djeata Red Chilli Pepper. O (2) 1 Shutt Donnadoon Miss Magestic A lovely red bitch she has a lovely strong well constructed front good length of ribbing and good top line. Moves with drive.

J 1 Vine Cishelvine Careless Wispa 17 month, Bitch a lovely size with a good shaped head with a very pleasant expression good length of neck and ribbing with a well placed shoulder, held her top line and moved with drive. Sp Y 1 Cishelvine Careless Wispa Post Gradute 1 Derochaise Justified For Cishelvine BOB A lovely dog with a good head nice long neck, has good angulation and held his top line stacked and on the move, he is in lovely condition. Limit 1 Vine Gravetye Kiss Me Kate Cishelvine A lovely bitch of correct size with a good head and long neck prominent keel just enough rib with good angulation moved with purpose. O (3,1) Stiles Cishelvine Sea Spray RBOB Bitch of a lovely type. Good conical head with a well shaped eye. Good long neck into well laid shoulders with a prominent sternum, good length of ribbing and hold top line at all times, move true coming and going. 2 Vine & Baxter Cishelvine Red Admiral A nice and bigger type than some had a lovely head with good length of neck tends to sink whilst stacked but he moves well.

P (3) 1 Oxley Dinkidax Cyenna Satin A very difficult class I really liked all 3 puppies and really had to split hairs to place them. 9 month red bitch, has a strong head and well shaped front good topline with enough ribbing and has good length of leg with tight feet and good angulation moves well. BP RBPIS. 2 Woodall Lyndarlea King Arthur Black & tan dog a nice size with a good head and well made front moved well. Junior 2 Brooks Lyndarlea Chitty Bang Bang. Black & tan bitch, A lovely type good shaped head with a nice long neck good shoulder and length of rib, good angulation moved with drive holding her topline. 2 Cohen Ralines Red Bouquet For Hutzpah A very different type to 1 but still a lovely cream bitch, nice head with a good front holds her top line and has good drive and angulation. Sp Y (3) 1 Brooks Willott Astra At Pauntley Black & tan dapple bitch, has a lovely head and expression, really liked her attitude in the ring. Moved well had a reasonable length of neck with good shoulders and enough ribbing. 2 Cohen Ralines Red Bouquet For Hutzpah. PG (2) 1 Brooks Obdax Lynn's Badger A really nice dog with plenty to like about him, very nice shaped head good front construction with plenty of rib, nice length of leg and good angulation and moved with drive and purpose. 2 Green Neertanauf Lucia Rijker Black & tan Bitch, a nice shaped head with a reasonable neck held her top line and has good angulation. L (2) 1 Brooks Lyndarlea Kenny RBOB I liked this dog when I judged his as a puppy and he does not disappoint with maturity. A nice size and shape with a well constructed front, holds his top line and moves well. 2 Green Neertanauf Jack Jones Shaded red dog has a lovely hound head, good neck and well laid shoulders and moves well. O (4) 1 Shutt Longort Cassie Royale Of Donnadoon A lovely shaped dog so pleasing to watch I love his head and expression, good length of neck with well laid shoulders, good length of leg, his ribbing is of good length with good angulation, moves with real drive and purpose holding topline at all times. BOB. 2 Jamieson Dinkydachs Magsybabe To Djeata Similar type to 1 again a lovely head with a good keel, held top line on the move.
