May I say a sincere thank you to the Committee for giving me the honour of Judging BIS & BP in Show at this 70th Anniversary the organisation was first class. Hospitality superb. Jackie & Dave and their team did us proud. Other societies could learn a lot from the excellent catering provided. Well done. VARIETIES. Before my remarks may I say it was such a lovely experience to see the elderly dogs in the Veteran classes with such good dentition, a true example of correct owner care. A real pleasure to see. VETERAN AV SPECIAL 7 to 9 years 1st & Best Veteran Rollinsons Ch Nosinllor Joan Of Arc Shows like a 2 year old. Excellent frontage supporting long reach neck. A real Std Wire head with very expressive eyes. Nothing to fault standing or on the move. A real Lady of the ring. 2 Bantings Mwh Indicott Moonlight Sonata Pushed hard for 1st place. There is nothing to suggest her age. She was presented in perfect condition, a coat to be admired. Very expressive friendly eyes, head of pleasing shape. Perfect top and underline. Correct angulation gives her such well balanced movement. VETERAN 10 YRS PLUS 1 Dubreys Dora The Explorer. Sh. A very feminine lady. Lovely length and height. Sound front assembly. First Class top and underline. Correct head and eyes'. She owns the ring at all times. So well balanced movement which she does with drive. Looks good from all angles. 2 Rees Phaeland North Light At Aquarelle Lh. A very masculine dog so well presented with such a pleasing coat to look at which gives a true picture of very good care by the owner. Portrays a true picture of the Breed at all times. BRACE 1 Whartons Std Wh Lady Giselle Of Greyhayne & Greyhayne Lotty Merry. A very nice pair who complemented each other as a team.Sound movement with plenty of drive. BEST IN SHOW: Hunts Carpaccio Casablanca JW. MSH I gave this young man top honours at the start of his career. That day he was 2nd in the Hound Group and won the Hound Puppy Group.To me he represents a true example of the, Breed. Correct head neck and front. Very friendly expressive eyes. Good dentition, nothing to fault on top or underline. Such free well balanced movement. A true showman. More honours will certainly go his way. Res BEST IN SHOW: Howells Fallowmill Sydney Mwh. Presented in outstanding condition.Lovely shaped head on long reach your n Eco. Very alert expressive eyes. Sound front assembly, good angulation gives him such strong movement. His coat is so pleasant to go over and is so well cared for it is a credit to the owner. Well done. BPIS Whartons Lady Giselle At Greyhayne Std Wh Gavexa, very sound performance from one so young Presented to perfection. Her coat could not be bettered. A true Wire Dachshund with a very bright future. Long reach neck, pleasing top and underline . Nothing to fault on movement Will be a pleasing, exhibit as she mature. She is certainly going in the right direction. Res BPIS : Hunts Carpaccio Blithe Spirit. A young lady of character. Very pleasing to go over and oozes quality from this Kennel. Such friendly appealing eyes, correct head, well shaped frontage supporting a sound neck, . First class length of body with sound ribbing. Her movement suggests she could go on all day. The Dachshund World is in Good Hands with Puppies of this Calibre.

 P (2) 1 Pankhurst's Marshwick Red Prince, well balanced masculine head of correct shape, good length to neck, front assembly well put together, rear angulation OK, good forechest, correct for back & topline, moved ok. Best Puppy. 2 Chapman's Melminds Miss Cilla Black, correctly proportioned head with good ear placement, strong in jaw, nice shoulder placement and front construction, good topline but has high set tail. J (1) 1 Duchesne's Darsoms Zamba Of Scandell, presented a good outline, typical in head with dark eye and correct ear placement, correct shoulder angulation and good oval chest, lovely free mover if a little lethargic at times. RBOB. PG (2) 1 Eve's Sundayshill Anastasia, lacking a little in coat, correct headpiece with good pigmentation and dark eyes, very good front construction, strong in the rear, moved well but a tad close in the hind movement, kept correct topline. 2 Duchesne's Darsoms Zifi Of Scandell, a good make and shape, typical head shape, front construction is well put together, OK topline but tailset a little high which affected hind movement. L (4,1) 1 Duchesne's Bronia Priam Of Scandell, balanced head with good pigmentation and correct ear shape and placement, would like a little more length to neck, correct front construction but weak in rear, steady on the move. 2 Chapman's Melminds Maleficent, strong head with dark eye, would like a little less stop as it gave a harsh expression, excellent neck and shoulders leading into a good topline, good front construction and strong rear, moved well. 3 Alford/Worth's Dachslur Diddleydo At Deeseedax. O (5) 1 Chapman's Melminds Zsylvester, pleasing head, well developed front with tight in elbows, correct topline with enough ribbing, strong loin with correct hindquarters, in super coat and condition. BOB. 2 Pankhurst's Marshwick Black Boots, head balanced, lovely size and length, OK for topline, front and rear quarters were acceptable, would have looked better with slightly lower tail set. 3 Amos' Marshwick Star Dancer

 P (1) 1 Wharton's Lady Giselle Of Greyhayne, very nice puppy, quite the extrovert, strong in head with dark eye, furnishings yet to develop, excellent neck and shoulders leading into a good topline, good front construction and strong rear, super wire coat, moved well. Best Puppy & RBOB. J (2,1) 1 Wharton's Lady Giselle Of Greyhayne. L (3,1) 1 Wharton's Greyhayne Lotty Merry, correct for head and eye, ears a tad high, good front and rear angles with sufficient ribbing, nice width across front, in good coat, efficient accurate mover. BOB. 2 Rees/Dible's Liebling Fly Me To The Moon, was a little nervy, pleasing head and eye, good front assembly with enough pro sternum, well ribbed back, stands a little high at the rear, not so positive on move. O (2,1) 1 Rollinson's Bellavin Invincible At Nosinllor, showed a good profile but a little on the long side, lovely head & expression, with enough ribbing but long in the loin, topline could be better, front construction good with acceptable keel, moved well
