Masculine hound head , dark eye of correct shape, good reach of neck into well laid shoulder, defined pro-sternum and clean outline when stacked just needs time. 2 Hirst. Ranglewood Lantana at Kejana. Another promising puppy, dark eye colour of correct shape, held topline stacked and on the move, just lost out to lack verve on move. 3 Chapman. Melminds Miss Cilla Black. J (1) 1 Horn's Darsoms Zabbi. BOB. - Strong head of masculine type, correct eye shape and pleasing expression. Good length of neck into well laid shoulder, well defined pro-sternum, strong topline and good length of loin, correct height to length ratio, moved with drive from well angled rear. Nice in profile and true both fore and aft, covered the ground with ease, I'm sure has a promising future, pleased to see him go BIS. PG (1) 1 Garlick's Ranglewood Diamond Heis. - B & T bitch, beautiful head with defined elegance, correct eye shape and colour, true coming and going, just a shame the tail didn't complete the picture. L (2) 1 Fossett's Brysdax Jack's Back. Masculine head and well balanced throughout, clean front assembly and well sprung rib, good extension on move. 2 Chapman's Melminds Maleficent. Elegant bitch with good reach of neck, clean frontage, adequate length of rib, well rounded rump. OD (2) 1 Chapman. Melminds Zsylvester. Ranglewood Arashi. Another presented in full coat, pleasing expression, clean outline, and height to length ratio just lost out on the movement. OB (2) 1 Garlick's Ranglewood Tempest. RPOB. I liked this girl, a well presented bitch, with feminine defined head and arched neck. good shoulder placement, level top line and correct tail set and in good coat. 2 Chapman. Melminds Miss Dior. Another well-presented bitch, level top line, well sprung rib, just missed out on the movement.

P (2) 1 Vine's Cishelvine On Reflection. BPIB. I'm sure these two litter mates will change places from show to show, both having a bright future im sure, both having similar attributes, clean head into good reach of neck, well-laid shoulder, and clean frontage not overdone, movement a little erratic but that should come with time. 2 Vine. Cishelvine Caught Out. This dog never had the confidence of 1st, similar attributes just needs time to get it together. J (1) 1 Vine. Cishelvine Careless Wispa. RBOB. Feminine bitch with clean head outline and reach of neck, well defined pro-sternum. Rib of good length, well-muscled rear providing plenty of drive. PG (3) 1 Vine. Derochaise Justified For Cishelvine. A balanced dog without exaggeration, hound head set on well laid shoulder, good angulation at rear providing plenty of drive and ground coverage, good jacket with all furnishings completing the picture. 2 Derry's Bramalodge Amiety At Derdle Dash. It was close between these two, similar in type, good harsh coat with furnishings, another I feel would prefer a larger ring. 3 Howe's Bramalodge Alice. L (3) 1 Eldred. Brimarville Honey Bun. BOB. Hound head with dark almond eye, good lay of shoulder, predominant fore chest but not overdone, well sprung rib of good length, clean tuck up and balanced throughout, good ratio, moving true both fore and aft. 2 Vine's Gravetye Kiss Me Kate Cishelvine. Close between these two and im sure will change places from show to show, she was just a tad unsettled however a pleasing expression, well arched neck, clean outline and hammy quarters moved well. 3 Howe's Daisy Ze Strizovickho Udoli. OD (4)1 Derry. Eydehavn Helmsley. Femininity and abundance, well-proportioned bitch without being overdone, good set ear, strong top line held on move, strong rear angulation, well set hock and tail set, moving with good extension. 2 Howe's Deri Ze Zofova Dvora. Puppy Stakes (7) 1 Hunt's Carpaccio Blithe Spirit. Mini-Smooth. A bitch oozing femininity and elegance, classic outline and height/length ratio, good shoulder placement and front angulation well defined pro-sternum without being overdone, well sprung rib of good length, clean tuck up, moving out with verve and purpose.2 Smith and Moon's Drakesleat Prim N Proper For Alncroft. Mini-Wire. Another nice pup, good jacket and furnishings, super head and eye, needs to settle on the move and will do with time.
Junior Stakes (2)1 Hunt. Carpaccio Trouble In Store. Std-Smooth. As before. 2 Morris. Pennywave Uptown Girl. JW. Mini-Wire. A compact bitch with super jacket and furnishings, good reach of neck, well laid shoulder and well defined outline. Open Stakes (4) 1 Morris Pennywave Top Totti. JW. Shcm. Mini-Wire. Feminine bitch without coarseness, pleasing head and expression, clear set ears, arched neck into well laid shoulder and front assembly, hammy rear quarters providing plenty of drive with good extension. 2 Hunt's Carpaccio Casablanca. Mini-Smooth. A handsome little showman, clean head and outline, dark eye, well sprung rib of good length, good front assembly and of correct angulation
Brace Stakes (2) 1 Morris. Mini-Wire. A sound pair, having the same sire which showed through, crisp definition, moving together as a brace should do. Previous comments apply. 2 Hunt's Mini-Smooth. Another matching brace, covering the ground with ease, alert expression.
Junior Handling Although these young handlers are just starting out they all did very well, keeping the dog between the judge and the handler being the golden rule which needs to be all the time when in the ring and awareness of the judge at all times, I wish them well for the future. 1 Amelie Smith. Mini-Wire. This young lady ensured the dog was between her and me at all times and was aware of my position, she was calm and assured in her actions, she listened to what I asked and carried out the ring pattern as requested with a super report with her dog. Im sure she has a bright future and would be happy for her to handle any of my dogs. 2 Jessica Smith. Mini-Wire. Another confident handler, just losing out to a lapse in concentration when not being assessed, and again showing a sympathetic report with her dog. 3 Millie Street. Std-Long.4 Abigail Mitchell. Mini-Smooth. 5 Jack Mitchell. Mini-Smooth
**
Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge and also to the exhibitors for entering and making my day so pleasurable, and such a delightful breed to judge. There were just a couple that were overweight slightly. On the whole I was looking for a correctly well muscled compact dog with no exaggerations. I like to see a nice head and alert, intelligent expression that is required, but mainly I want to see the confident, free movement associated with the breed. Therefore, a lot of my winner's comments will be repeated without too much individual detail.
