My thanks go to the committee of The East Yorkshire Dachshund Club for inviting me to judge. It was my first time judging these three varieties. I had some lovely dogs to go over and thank all exhibitors. It was the very last EYDC show, sad, but celebrated by a well-supported and excellently organised occasion. Thank you also to Pam for being an excellent steward.

P. (2) 1st Adams Wyldetarn Shoot From The Hip. Very showy wild boar dog. Good head with nice dark eye, well placed shoulders with good keel and ribbing. Moved out true from front and rear. Pleased to award BPIB. and delighted that he went on to BPIS. 2nd. Vine’s Derochaise Height OFashion At Chiselvine. Lovely young dark brindle bitch but not co-operating today. Good head and eye, not quite the front construction of 1st but movement was sound and true, when she felt like it.

J. (2) 1st Adams Wyldetarn Shoot From The Hip. 2nd. Vine’s Derochaise Height OFashion At Chiselvine.

S.Y. (1) Vines Cishelvine Just An Enigma. Brindle bitch who was not particularly settled today. Nice head and eye and reach of neck into good front construction. Movement a little unbalanced although true out and back.

P.G. (1) 1st. Vines Cishelvine Caught Out. Dark brindle boy of sound construction. Houndy head and good eye. Length to height ratio correct. Excellent front, shoulder placement, and good length of keel and ribbing. Rear construction to balance the front, leading to correct movement. Pleased to award BOB.

L. (1) 1st. Vines Derochaise Justified For Cishelvine. Dark brindle boy who strode out well. Lovely head and good front construction and pleased to award RBOB. Just preferred the rear construction of previous class winner.
