I was pleased that I was able to step in at the last moment to judge the Min. Wires owing to the fact that the appointed judge was unavoidably detained by traffic problems. Thank you all for accepting me, and warm thanks to my steward Sabrina for keeping me in line. *V *(3,1) 1 Blacks. Ch. Bassodon Westwood seven year old dog enjoying his day out. A pleasing head and expression, correct eye and mouth. Shoulders are well set and elbows tight. Well presented, and coat is correct. Good spring of ribs, top and underline correct. Moved well and earned his place. 2nd Philips Ch.curtisey Boogy Woogy. A nine year old in great condition. He is balanced and moves as though he means it. Lovely head and expression. Good temperament. Coat is good. *PD *1 Kilroy Blackvein Cupid At Janacop Six month old baby, so full of himself. Has all the essentials in the right place, should be interesting as he matures. 2 Tomsetts Dajean Surely A Star. At seven months, he is also promising. Nice head and expression. Fair shoulders, top line is not yet fully settled, but time is on his side. Moved. Quite well, with gusto. 3 Lewis’s Westwillow Topgear. *JD* 1 Philips Gulliagh Loganberry Of Robinswood (IKC) a well balanced dog. Correct head and teeth. His body pleased me. Fit as a fiddle, and good quarters which he used well. 2 Blacks Lordscairnie Cauld Be Love Bassodon. A rather immature youngster. Well up to weight. Love his expression and he moved well. 3 Tomsett Dajean He’s A Star. *PGD *1 Tomsetts Dajean. Chocolate Chip. This little man really was excited, but settled well eventually. He is balanced, well constructed and has a top class coat. Stood alone. *LD* 1 Tomsett’s Pinocchio Klara Difino At Dajean. Again stood alone, but well worth a double look. Lot of attractive features here. Eye catching coat of top quality. Correct head, shoulders top and underline. Well angled quarters. Reserve Best Dog. *OD* 1 Tomsetts Dajean Starstruck. 4year old quality dog. Stood alone. Another top coated Dog. His lovely expression and eyes make the head appealing. Strong neck, leading onto well angled shoulders and good spring of rib. Top line held and maintained on the move, which was done well, helped by the correct hind quarters. Best Of Breed. *PB* 1 Tomsetts Dajean Surely Star Quality. Six months old, and she was a bit overawed by all this to start with, but time will sort that out. Lovely temperament, good coat, and as all this exhibitors dogs were, well presented. Best puppy bitch. *JB *1 Macfarlans Bassodon Minerva. 16 months old, very sweet. I like her construction and was so pleased to see her move. She seemed to flow. Smaller type. 2 Tomsetts Dajean Klassic Kiss. 13 months, and maturing nicely. Another pleasing head and expression. Larger than “Minerva” with super coat, good shoulders and hind end, moved quite well. *PGB*. 1 Weeks Beldrew Flora At Avon JW. 20 months. She is nicely balanced and well constructed. I like her head, and was pleased with her good movement. 2 Grants Granhoward. Ownly. Smaller type of Minnie, but so nicely balanced. And she crowns it with good movement. 3 Tomsetts Dajean Klassic Kiss. *LB* 1 Blacks Bassodon Dodecahedron. A. Small compact little bitch a Little nervous which was soon overcome. She moved well, and was pleasing to watch and I will watch her progress with interest. Best Bitch. *OB* 1 Grants Granhoward Ethel. Really pleasing to see two very nice quality bitches. Second in here was Macfarlans Granhoward Lilly, and if you forgive me, similar comments apply to both. My notes say both very promising good jackets, well presented. Nice heads and correct shoulders. Move well. I slightly favored Ethel, they are litter sisters, and could change places lots of times. Thanks to you all.
