Masculine dog with correct head and eye long neck well placed shoulders well ribbed with a level topline held at all times strong quarters and a harsh jacket. Reserve Best in Show: Garlick Ranglewood Arashi. Shaded red long dog very elegant good shoulders and reach of neck long ribbing good topline held on the move and in good condition. Best Puppy In Show: Paget And Carroll Clentry Eternal Flame. Femine head with almond eye long neck well placed shoulders good front tight elbows good rear drive moved well. Reserve Best Puppy in Show: Geeson Abydachs All About Me. Black and tan mini long with sweet head and expression well arched neck good shoulder placement good front well sprung ribs good rear moved well. Best Veteran in Show: Starkey Ch Carpaccio Jasper From Hamoura Shcm JW. This black and tan standard smooth gets better with age masculine head good eye long neck well placed shoulders good front and ribbing strong wear moved with drive.

MINIATURE SMOOTH Puppy: (3,0) Three bitches of different type 1.Halsall Shelshall All About Love 11months red. Pretty head with almond eye, correct front construction, with good prosternum and length of keel, good length of rib, elbows tucked nicely under ribcage, good feet. Moved well. BOB and BP. 2. Melbourne Donnadoon Juno of Melriding just a baby and at the bum high stage. Nice type, correct front construction, with good bone, legs and feet. Nice temperament. Moved well. 3. Mills- Jones Carlita Welsh Princess

Junior: ((2,1) 1. Paget and Carroll Marvale Linnet B/T super body proportions, correct front, prosternum and length of rib, balanced standing and moving. Head to did not appeal.

Limit: ((2,1) 1 Starkey Carpaccio Black Obsidin Chamoura B/T dog. Nice size. OK head. Correct front but rather short in upper arm, good feet. Would prefer more length of rib. Level topline and correct tail set and carriage. Good temperament and moved well.

Open: (4,2) 1 Paget and Carroll Metadale Lark Ascending red dog up to size. Liked his conical head and almond eye. Good length of rib and level topline. Really drove from rear a tad narrow coming toward. 2. Kerry Kireton Hebe B/T with lots to like. Super bone and substance for size. Preferred head of 1 and not happy today.

2nd - Mee's Barlaine Razzle Dazzle

Puppy: (3,0) 1 Geeson Abydachs All About Me B/T bitch. Glamorous baby with bone and substance. Wonderful front with good layback of shoulder, length of upper arm, elbows tucked nicely under ribcage and round, tight feet. Good prosternum, length of rib and keel. Level topline, correct tailset and carriage. Super hindquarters with short hocks. Moved well. Sound and true. BOB, BP and BPIS. 2. Mee Barlaine Razzle Dazzle nice head and eye, untidy mouth, narrower all through than 1 but of nice type with lots to like. Would prefer longer rib. 3. Mee Barlaine Just William

Junior: (2,1) 1. Mee Barlaine Commander up to size B/T with lots to like about him. Conical head and almond eye. Rather narrow in front. Good bone. Tad short in rib. Sound coming and going with level topline. Carried tail high. Could do with some ringcraft to do him justice.

Novice: (1,0) 1. Mee Barlaine Just William 3^rd in puppy. Nice type of puppy. Showed much better in this class without the distraction of his kennel mate. Rather narrow all through. Good temperament.

Post Graduate : (1,0) 1. Johnson Charpurdy Dandy Duchess pretty red bitch with feminine head and almond eye. Rather narrow all through but good behind with short hocks. Level topline with good tail carriage. Would prefer more reach and drive on the move.

Limit: (2,0) 1. Mee Barlaine Golden Delight very nice to go over and would benefit from some ringcraft to get the best out of her. Feminine head with almond eye. Correct front construction with good length of rib. Sound on the move. 2. Irvine Bronia The Dutchman Lots to like about this boy. Masculine head. Lovely profile shape but rather narrow all though and would prefer more body condition to completer the picture.

Open: ( 1,0) 1 Mee Barlaine Red Splendour Red bitch of really nice type. Very balanced standing and on the move. Would like more length of rib. I liked her. Would like a little more ring presence to complete the picture. This exhibitor has a nice type of dachshund.

Puppy (1,0)1 Kirkwood Helydon Ochre Orkney nice sized puppy Nice head but would prefer a little more refined but good expression. About right for development at this age. Level topline and good tailset. Excellent rear. Good coat quality. Good prospect with maturity.

Junior (2,0)1 Kirkwood-Emery Helydon Oor Oakley really nice 8 months puppy bitch. Lovely to go over. Well handled despite being difficult on the table. Nicely balanced with good front and rear. Level topline good length of rib and super outline. Short hocks. BP 2 Kirkwood – Emery Helydon Nifty Nairn Lovely head and eye on this one and correct hard coat. Not the angles of 1. Good temperament.

Novice (1,0)1 Kirkwood-Emery Helydon Oor Oakley

Post Graduate (2,0) 1 Kirkwood Helydon Magical Mika Smart brindle bitch with nice head and eye. Rather heavy all through and could benefit from losing a couple of ounces over her shoulders. Nice shape and sound on the move. Good temperament. 2 Kay Foxearth Run For Fun To Kaytian red bitch. Different type from 1 not the balance. Not a showgirl and did not give of her best.

Limit (1,0) 1. Kirkwood-Emery Helydon Jinglebells nice bitch. Oval head and almond eye. Correct front although a tad narrow and good length of rib. Strong rear and lovely profile. Good coat.

Open (3,0) 3 different types. 1. Kay Kaytian Tempset Haiti JW Red dog with attractive masculine head with almond eye. Moderate shape, correct front and square rear. Level topline, good length of rib and correct tailset and carriage. Moved soundly and true. BOB 2. Mills-Jones Carlita Sunrise JW just my type. Lovely head and expression, good neck and shoulders, topline and strong rear and good angulation which gave him reach and drive on the move. Wonderful coat quality. Unfortunately lacking condition today which was a pity. 3. Kirkwood Ubu Isla at Helydon
