Post Graduate Dog (1)

1st MCSORLEY Barlaine Midnight Charmer

This dog has overall good proportions with an appealing conciliar head. Would prefer a less round eye to complete the look. Great fore chest with full feet. Good ground clearance and moved positively forward and back. Would prefer more rear angulation is aid in rear drive.

Open Dog (1)

1st GEESON Ch Abydachs Alpha Centauri

BEST DOG & BOB This dog sports a lovely outline with a lengthy neck flowing into a well lay back of shoulder. Great length of upper arm and good rear angulation which showed when this dog moved with reach and drive. Presented in great condition. I imagine this dog would challenge the scales. Pleased to hear he was awarded BIS.

Puppy Bitch (1)

1st BROWN Sunkissed Candy from Garbosa

BEST BITCH & BEST PUPPY A very collected puppy with a lovely hound expression completed with an almond shaped eye. Had good front and rear angulation which she used to her advantage on the move, stepping out well. Maintained a level top line on the move. At this stage she was slightly out at the elbow.

Junior Bitch - NO ENTRIES

Post Graduate Bitch (1)

1st MCSORLEY Barlaine Golden Honey

Good overall outline with good length of foreface and presence of prominent fore chest. Moved ok, would prefer ribbing further back.

Open Bitch (1)

1st GEESON Ch Abydachs All About Me

A heavier bitch that would have a better outline with less covering and a less wavy coat. Despite this this bitch good front and rear angulation and moved soundly forward and back. Superb ribbing allowed a level topline to be maintained at all times.Good overall outline with good length of foreface and presence of prominent fore chest. Moved ok, would prefer ribbing further back.

Puppy  Dog (3)

1st  PAGET & CARROLL'S Bronia Lucien

A puppy that lacked confidence but possessed great breed type. When the pup cooperated with handler it presented a beautiful outline on both stance and move. This pup moved with great drive and showed strong parallel movement even at this young age. Would like slightly more width in front to complete picture but I would imagine this will come with time.

2nd JENNINGS Marvale's Black Hawk

A rawer pup than 1st place but was presented and handled well showing off good front construction with nice tight elbows and great length of ribbing. This pup moved well coming and going but has a tendency to rise in top line on the move at this tender age.

3rd GITTINS Boomerloo's Robin

Junior Dog (1)

1st SPENCER Lokmadi Sandstone at Bannonbrig

Another dog that presented a lovely outline in the stack, exhibiting good proportions with the correct ground clearance, prominent fore chest and lovely full front feet. On the move this young dog has good width in front, moved ok behind.

Post Graduate Dog  (2,1)

1st MILLS Nisyros Lorenzo at Greyvista

A dog of slightly taller type than preferred but exhibited a good length of head and strong parallel movement. Sadly, this dog was not performing the best today and did not settle in top line on the stack or on the move which spoilt the outline.

Limit Dog (1)

1st MILLS Nisyros Lorenzo at Greyvista

Open Dog (5,2)

1st JENNINGS Duddondaxs Judge Jude for Jenivon

A veteran dog that exhibited a good outline on the stack and on the move and had balanced front and rear angles. On the move this dog moved with good drive, showing a strong top line at all time. Would like a slightly shorter hock to complete the picture.

2nd JENNINGS Marvale Northern Cardinal at Jenivon

With many good attributes similar to first but slightly less ground clearance. Great head with a good expression. Whilst this dog had better rear angulation than 1, this dogs top line was lost on the move which was the deciding factor between the placings.

3rd RUSSELL Foxearth Tiger Roll

Veteran Dog or Bitch (1)

1st HUTCHINGS Stargang Hot Cross Bun for Collidach

This veteran showcased a lovely outline on the stack and on the move but tended to dip in top line slightly as the class progressed. This bitch had great head with correct expression. On the move she moved with good drive but tended to move slightly wide in rear.

Puppy Bitch (4,1)

1st  JENNINGS Jenivon Black Finch

This pup was very collected for its tender age showing a great outline at all times. Good front angulation which flowed into a good length of ribbing and rear angulation to balance the front. On the move this pup had good width to its front and rear parallel movement.

2nd PAGET & CARROLL Marvale Chiffchaff

A rawer pup than 1st place but a well put together puppy with pleasing angles in the front and rear. This pup had a great fore chest and length of ribbing. This pup moved well for its handler but would like better width in front and rear which I imagine will come as this pup matures.

3rd KIRKWOOD-EMERY Marvale Rosefinch at Helydon

Junior Bitch (2,1)

1st JENNINGS Jenivon Jenny Wren

This pup oozed breed type and was feminine throughout. Had the most gorgeous of heads which was followed by excellent front construction which was demonstrated on the move. Whilst this pup was slightly soft in top line at this age, its excellent front and rear angulation won it best puppy in breed.BP.

Post Graduate Bitch (6,1)

1st HARDY Rossmia Kensington Beauty

This bitch had the best angulation in the class and exhibited a pleasing head with a good length of foreface. On the move this bitch moved with strong rear angulation but slightly short stepped in front.

2nd ROSE Dandydan Sunday Girl

A completely different type to 1st place.  Smaller bitch that moved soundly forward and back and maintained a strong outline. Lacked reach in front and rear.

3rd GITTINS Markidachs Saffrons Gift at Boomerloo

Res DAVIES Stargang Penny Lane

VHC  FORGIONE Rusalugio Monteverdi

Limit Bitch (3)

1st JENNINGS Jenivon Queen Bee

A lovely size and well-balanced bitch which used its well angulated front and rear to its advantage.  This bitch had a good return of upper arm which was showcased with super front movement. On the move this bitch maintained its compact outline whilst driving excelling with drive.

2nd GITTINS Markidachs Saffrons Dream at Boomerloo

A similar type bitch as 1st place with many of the good attributes as had lovely front and rear angles and excelled with drive. Did not have as much bone as 1st place and was moving slightly close in front.

3rd FORGIONE Rusalugio Swanky Pants

Open Bitch (3,1)

1st JENNINGS Jenivon Miss Marple

A bitch of excellent type and exhibited a fantastic outline at all times. A lovely, feminine head started the fantastic overall picture which flowed into a good front and rear angulation with a good temperament that allowed the bitch to showcase her super movement. Good, short hocks remained parallel at all times. BOB.

2nd FORGIONE Rusalugio Monteverdi

A different type of 1st but possesses a lovely head just like 1st place. This bitch was unbalanced with better rear angulation than front angulation. This bitch would benefit from a better coverage to improve the top line.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (1)

1st KIRKWOOD-EMERY Helydon Jinglebells

A different type to previously judged in younger classes but had a lot to admire. Despite minimal furnishings, the jacket was lovely and harsh. Had the darkest of eyes and a great expression. Tight bunched feet. Moved with decent drive but had a tendency to lose top line on the move.

Puppy Bitch (5,1)

1st  DANCE Emem Hope for Sunshine

This puppy was very well put together as well angulated in the front and rear. Had an attractive head with a strong jaw and of good length. Top line was supported by a good length of ribbing. Rear was well muscled and used its advantage on the move. Not the harshest of jackets at present.

2nd SIEMINSKI Dajean Surely a Vision

2nd KIRKWOOD-EMERY Helydon Nifty Nairn JW

2nd VINCENT Breezelyn Long Awaited by Gainscroft

3rd PASKINS Kindeace Light My Fire

Junior Dog NO ENTRIES

Limit Dog (3)

1st PASKINS Cedavoch Its Taboo at Kindeace

A well-made balanced dog with the most wonderful head shape. This dog excelled on length of ribbing and moved with good drive around the ring. Always parallel in all directions. Would like a slightly longer upper arm to complete the picture.BOB.

2nd VINCENT Gainscroft Dashing Dudley

A dog that moved very soundly throughout the class and covered the ground with ease. Like 1st place would like a longer upper arm. Lovely bunched feet and an amazing coat. Not the head as 1st place, more stop which created a rounder eye shape.

3rd WEDGE Dolan Johnny Be Good

Open Dog (3,1)

1st PASKINS Kindeace Texas Ranger

A heavier type of dog but with a well-constructed front. Good length of neck which flowed into well laid shoulders. Good, bunched front feet. Tended to lose top line on the move which may be due to being slightly short in ribbing length but moved soundly.

2nd WEDGE Dolan the Last Time

This dog had a more correct head than 1st place with a good, dark eye and excellent length of foreface but could match the front construction as 1st. Moved with good rear drive but was moving close in front.

Veteran Dog or Bitch (1,1)

1st Absent

Puppy Bitch (4,1)

1st VINCENT Breezelyn A Long Story at Gainscroft

This bitch was lightly longer cast than the desired ratio but had pleasing, front and rear angulation which was balanced. A lengthy neck flowed into a good front with tight elbows. Despite being longer cast, had enough ribbing to support the extra length. Moved soundly in all directions but could do with more drive.

2nd PASKINS Kindeace You Wear it Well

Taller than 1st place which created the more desired proportions. Like 1, moved parallel but lacked drive. Held top line on the stance and move. Coarser in head as had a thicker back skull which affected the expression.

3rd PALMER Ratterdach Love of my Life

Junior Bitch  (3,1)

1st GEESON Abydachs Hot Patootie

Absolutely love the proportions of this young girl, framed with a beautiful coat. This bitch excelled in head shape and expression. Length of keel and ribbing was good and maintained a great top line at all times. On the move, this bitch moved with good drive but moved a little wide in front.

2nd GEESON Abydachs Anything for Love

Very similar attributes as 1st place but of a finer make. Great proportions as 1st and presented in great condition as 1st. moved lovely and parallel in all direction, just giving the handler a hard time so was not moving with good drive.

Limit Bitch (6,2)

1st VINCENT Gainscroft Dolly's Dina

This bitch was of a nice type and appealing head shape. The front construction allowed the bitch to move with good forward reach. Lovely feet. Presented in good condition and had good muscular quarters. Lacked drive on the move but sound in all directions.

2nd WEDGE Dolan Summer Time Blues

This bitch had an even better shape than 1st place but did not match the front assembly as 1st place. Good length of ribbing with allowed the top line to remain solid at all times. Moved out with slightly better drive than 1st place but was moving close on the day.

3rd PASKINS Africandawns May Sonet Kindeace

1st FARRINGTON Dollydash Defender of Faith

This dog was a little hesitant today but when he allowed, showed good body proportions. Nice strong masculine head and strong underjaw. Rear angulation was better than front angulation which showed on the move. Great ribbing and bunched feet. Coat ok.

Limit Dog (2,1)

1st RUSSELL Collidach Russell Leeves

Correct proportions of both body and head with a dark eye to make a pleasing expression. Would prefer a better return of upper arm to improve front extension on the move. Well angulated in the rear which created drive on the move. Good, harsh jacket.

Open Dog  (1)

1st  PRICE & HUTCHINGS Collidach Percy Cute at Samlane

A larger, heavier built dog but excelled in front and rear angulation. This dog has nice, tight elbows and bunched feet. Front and rear angulation were balanced and created fantastic drive on the move. Moved parallel alongside the drive.  A good, harsh jacket completed this picture.

Veteran Dog or Bitch  (1)

1st  HUTCHINGS Tendrow I Am the One from Collidach JW

This bitch was of a pleasing size, whilst maintaining good body proportions and adequate bone. Clean shoulders and nice length of ribbing. Bunched feet and harsh jacket. Moved out well for handler, tended to move slightly close in rear.

Puppy Bitch (5,3)

1st SIEMINSKI Wyldertarn Genesis

This bitch had lovely head proportions with dark, almond eyes to create the correct expression. A little short in upper arm meant lack of reach in front on the move but solid, muscular rear moved with good drive. Covered the ground well. Good ribbing and top line maintained on the move.BP.

 2nd DOWNIE Billclem Only You

A different type of bitch than 1st place. More furnishings and a slightly softer jacket. Moved parallel in all directions and matched the good drive exhibited by 1st place. Short in ribbing which affected this bitch’s top line on the move.

Junior Bitch (2)

1st WARD Nasiriyah's Lavender at Morlanow

This bitch was completely stripped out in preparation for Crufts I imagine but the coarseness of the jacket could still be felt. Very attractive head with nice, clean shoulders. Correct body proportions with good ground clearance. Rear angulation matched the front and moved soundly in all directions.

2nd PALMER Teckeltracks Freya

Taller type than 1st place but had a complete, harsh jacket. Not as clean over the shoulders but maintained a good top line on the move. Dark, almond eyes and bunched feet.

Limit Bitch (3,1)

Following the conclusions of the placings of this class remarks about the judging from outside the ring by two individuals could be heard from within the ring. This behaviour is not sportsman's like and unprofessional. I hope the comments shared do not take the enjoyment of the wins from the winners who were all well deserved.

1st HUTCHINGS Collidach Raynee Day

This is a heavier built bitch and giving her handler a hard time from time to time.  Overall head and body proportions were good and the good angles in the front and rear allowed this bitch to move with great reach and drive. Lovely, harsh jacket in all areas. Whilst this bitch was not cooperating at all times, the bitch and handler done enough to demonstrate that this bitch fits the breed standard the best in this class.

2nd CORNER Allfrey's Cordelia

Different type of bitch than first and had better ground clearance. Appealing head proportions and nice eye shape and colour. Would like a better return of upper arm to improve front reach. Good foot shape. Good rear angulation but tended to move close in rear

Open Bitch  (1)

1st  HUTCHINGS Ch Collidach Brook Ling

A bitch of great head and body proportions. Fabulous movement in all directions. Great return of upper arm. Lovely length of neck flows into clean shoulders and a solid top line. Excellent ribbing. Correct feet and short hocks.BOB.
