1. Heap’s Ranglewood Katrine, B. 18 months. Liked her type and overall conformation. Nicely angulated front and lay of shoulders. Head with sweet expression, lovely reach of neck. Impressive body and topline. Super coat. On the move she tried earnestly to throw it all away but settled enough to take this class. Close call.

2. Garlick’s Ranglewood Heilen B, 18 months. Litter sister to 1. B/T, Head very similar. I thought her a tad longer in loin and not quite the ground clearance but lots to like. Lovely coat and moved very well once settled.

3. Wedge’s Dolan Summer Time Blues.

1. Garlick’s Kyrenia Queens Request With Ranglewood, B, 20 months. Portrays an attractive overall balance. Loved her size. Well bodied, super chest and backline. Well ribbed. Ideal ground clearance. Presented in excellent coat and condition. Steady mover maintaining her lovely profile. I thought her most promising. BB & BOB

2. Lumley’s Dagastren Martha My Dear. B. 5 years old. Liked her front assembly, topline and tail set. Would prefer more ribbing. Admirable feet and pasterns. Smart mover.

1. Wedge’s Dolan Tears of A Clown, D. 2 years. Appealing, balanced head, giving an attractive expression. Well placed neck into correct shoulders. Strong keel. Well sprung ribs. Text book hind construction used to advantage. BOS.

2. Garlick’s Ranglewood Harvest Song, D. 7 years.

Open Bitch 2

1. Garlick’s Tanglewood Islay, B. Admirable feminine head with super eyes giving the desired expression. Correct length of neck and well-placed shoulders. Well filled for-chest, long ribbing and short strong loins. Super neat feet. Her movement was impressive and effortless and rear drive gave her the edge over 2.

2. Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Metadale Merengue, B. Another nice one. Correct for size. Feminine head of correct shape; good dentition and finish. Sturdy neck leading into correct shoulders. Secure backline; good rump. Preferred the ribbing/loins of 1. On the move she held a secure topline.

1. Garlick’s Ranglewood Trick or Treat. B. 7 years. Lovely B/T Veteran. Keen head but not overdone. Expressive with eyes. Super for neck, well placed shoulders, and strong keel. Good ribbing, strong short loins. Good rump. Her movement was clean coming and going and he covered the surface with ease. In super condition. BVIB.

1. Mills-Jones, Carlia Jellie Baby. 6 months. B. Just so appealing, this 6 month old is very naughty but exceptionally nice! Super feminine head giving typical expression. Proportioned reach of neck and well laid shoulders. Balanced throughout. Compact body, well ribbed. Secure strong topline. Well angulated hindquarters. When she collected herself, her movement was impressive and covered the floor with ease. Despite her tender age I felt her worthy of BOB, BPIB, RBPIS. & RBIS.

2. Kent’s Barratini Due Beke At Lokadi. 8 months and another who is heading for the top. Compact and well bodied with good bone and substance whilst retaining femininity. Well balanced with correctly angulated fore and hindquarters. Confident and accurate on the move, she is perfectly sound in all directions. Unlucky to meet 1.

1. Corner’s Carcorn Raphel’s Racer 8 months, D. Promising puppy. Nicely proportioned throughout. Head to develop. Good neck and body proportions. Nicely angulated front and rear. Super jacket.

1. Stephenson’s Bothlyn Sweet Missy At Wixtex. 19 months B. Nicely constructed with a pleasing head. Good for body and ribbing. Well angulated hindquarters. Produces a pleasing outline. Just a tad close coming towards me. Super textured coat.

1. Stephenson’s Wistex Taking it Easy, B. 2 years. Impressive head and expression. Produces a typical outline when standing. Would prefer a tad shorter loin. Her correctly angulated hindquarters produced impressive rear drive. OK front. Correct textured coat.

1. Brown’s Sunkissed Candy From Garbosa. B. 9 months. Held her backline well. Pleasing length and strength of head giving a lovely expression. Shoulders set fairly well back. On the move she demonstrated accuracy of forehand. OK behind. Super coat. BPIB.

2. May’s Hanishan Fiery Fox, D. At 6 months, he is nicely put together. Well ribbed; short loins. Good bone and feet. Was rather nervous upon examination and just needs time. He moved well.

Junior 3,1

1. Phillips’s Fallingwater Faberge, B 16 months. Good shoulders and keel. Tight feet. Ribs go well back and retained a secure topline on the move. Correct ground clearance. OK head. Well angulated hindquarters. Moved well.

2. Gordon’s Allerbach’s Tiger Moth, D. 13 months. Attractive head with good dentition. Would prefer more length of neck. Good pigment. Moved true up and back. Lovely coat.

Post Graduate 3,2

It was challenging to separate these two young bitches.

1. May’s Custard and Jelly. B. 2 years. Good head and eye giving feminine expression. Would prefer better front assembly and straighter legs. Maintained a secure topline on the move with excellent rear drive.

2. Phillip’s Fallingwater Farouche. B. 22 months. I particularly liked her head and expression. Just lacks length of neck. Feet tight enough. Well ribbed. Moved well but would prefer more ground clearance.

1. Phillip’s Fallingwater Good Friday D. 22 months. Attractive masculine head and expression, correct bite, neck flowing nicely into well-placed shoulders. Correct breastbone. Moved well with impressive rear drive. BOS.

1. Phillip’s Pettigans Bring Me Sunshine, Dog. 2 years. Liked his head and keen eye. Fair neck. Strong topline and ribbing. Retained his outline on the move and when standing. Untidy front movement but true and accurate behind.

1. Mason’s Crownlake’s Queen Bee JW. 2years. B/T B. Well balanced. Quality head, with beautiful expression. Well assembled front having good depth of keel. Well laid ribs; good chest all set well. Purposeful mover with excellent reach and drive. BOB.

2. Phillips’s Fallingwater Flower Power B. Mature. Fair head. Maintains a correct topline. Liked her rear assembly. Body was well ribbed. In good coat and condition.

Good for neck and top-line. Well filled oval thorax. Strong angulations aided impressive purposeful movement. BOB

1. Turner’s Bensarka Little White Dove. B. Looked really well for her 7yrs. Presents an excellent outline and is lovely to go over. Liked her lovely feminine head, good neck and topline and has a well filled oval front. Moved out smartly. Best Veteran.

1. Coxon’s D’Arisaca Boogies In Brogues, D. 5 months. An impressive youngster. Pleasing head, his well-constructed front demonstrated an excellent forehand with good topline and tail set. Moderate in all respects. He has a very proud and confident attitude. Obviously loving his time in the ring and was a real show-off! Best Baby Puppy In Show.

2. Stevenson and Mitchell’s Penwooddax True Blue. B. B/T. 5 months. Another gorgeous baby. Loved her shape and ground clearance. Feminine, beautiful head and eyes. Good bite. Balanced head of correct proportions. Prominent forechest. Lovely body. Moved well.

3. Stevenson and Mitchell’s Penwooddax Lucky Star

Puppy 6

1. Mason’s Marvale Crimson Sunbird. Dog. 8 months. Mature for age. Beautifully balanced and proportioned. Super prosternum, depth of keel and lay of shoulder. Lovely tight elbows and super substance. Great spring of ribs carried well back with short loins. Secure topline. Excellent hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle and strong parallel hocks. On the move, was a joy to watch. Proud and confident he used his powerfully built hindquarters to drive him forward, complimented by impressive forehand reach. BOB BPIB BPIS & BIS

2. Spall & Clark’s Llapsttam Sebastian. D. 10 months. Liked his substance and size. Head is masculine but not overdone. Super to examine – well bodied, good reach of neck and correctly angulated shoulders. Strong topline. Confident in outlook. Unlucky to meet 1.

3. Metcalf-Bilgin’s Metadale Aloysius

1. Mason’s Teckeltown Surspicious Mind. D. 11 months. Super B/T coat. Balanced and moderate in all respects. He has good ground clearance. Appealing head with dark eyes. Good forefront with well laid shoulders and proud head carriage all aid impressive movement. Decent length of rib, short strong loins. Ultra confident mover which just gave him the edge over 2.

2. Spall & Clark’s Llapasttam Sebastian. 14 months. D. Impressive Junior. Appealing, balanced head with attractive eyes, good length of neck into well laid shoulders. Prominent breastbone, well ribbed body; short loins. Secure topline and parallel hindquarters. Moved steadily.

3. Metcalf-Bilgin’s Metadale Incognito

Post Graduate 6,2

1. Bullingham’s Stoweytop Treacle. B/T D. 22 months and really nice to examine. Super overall size, unexaggerated with adequate substance. Masculine head portraying typical expression. Lengthy neck, well developed forechest. Enough clearance. Secure topline. Proud accurate mover and particularly impressive in profile. Super coat and condition. BOS.

2. Mason’s Teckeltown The Show Girl. 11 months so naturally, giving some away in maturity. Good overall shape, feminine head with dark expressive eyes. Well set ears. Possesses balanced angulations. Well bodied, prominent forechest. Not quite as settled on the move as 1 but time is on her side.

3. Holmes’s Gabmaddi Carolina Rose

1. Mason’s Teckel Town Lady in Red. 3 years old. Another top quality one from this kennel. Super red coat. Elegant, feminine head; dark eyes. Lengthy reach of neck leading into correctly placed shoulders. Good forechest and well ribbed; short strong loins. Body has plenty of substance without being overdone. Strong rear quarters. Exemplary on the move.

2. Harrison’s Harridachs Cherry blossom, B. Placed reserve in the previous class but was much more settled in this one. Lovely head. Good for depth of chest. Enough neck flowing into well clean shoulders. Topline OK. Stood over the ground well. Moved freely.

3. Forgione’s Rusalugio Swankypants

1. Mason’s Teckeltown Something Magic JW. 6 years. A Black and Tan dog I have judged and admired before. Lovely type and of a nice size, with good bone. Well bodied. Balanced head giving typical expression. In the challenge, was a strong contender, but I would have preferred a tad more forehand reach. Beautifully constructed hind angulations. Super condition.

2. Holmes’s Mumysami You’re All I Need. 14 months. Classic masculine head which is worth a second look. Good bone for size. Well ribbed body. His forehand somewhat disappointed. Strong rear drive and well presented.

A quality class.

1. Coxon’s D’Arisca Little Black Dress, B. Well put together and feminine 2 year old of beautiful type. Good reach of neck and lay of shoulder. Ribbing carried well back, short loins with correctly angulated quarters. Secure top and complementary underline maintained on the move. Purposeful, accurate mover.

2. Kent’s Lokmadi Oh What A Circus, B. Similar to 1. Also 2 years. Another quality girl being feminine and of super type and overall shape. Balanced head both in length and depth. Eyes portray a kind expression. Lengthy reach of neck flowing into mature body. Well-muscled topline. Broad rump. Close Call.

3. Mason’s Collidach Hot Springs At Teckel Town JW

Veteran 3,1

1. Bullingham’s Bowetts Aventurine At Stoweytop, B. 9 ½ years. Lovely Red Lady in super condition for age. Proud head carriage and beautifully balanced. Feminine head, dark attractive eyes. Well bodied; tight elbows and well angulated front construction. Good length of ribbing, correct length of loin and nicely angulated hindquarters. Moved very well. BVIB.

2. Cumberland’s Mumysami Clickerty Clic For Yorami B. Red B. 7 years. Feminine head and expression. Well angulated forequarters with correctly placed forelegs. Good ground clearance. Secure backline but a touch longer in loin than 1. Moved free and easy with reach and drive.

2. Palmer’s Teckel Tracks Freya. B. 15 months old. Appealing head. Front OK. Held a secure topline, good tail set. Preferred the overall substance of 1. In super jacket.

1. Whitacker’s Kissdachs Freddie Mercury. D. 2 years. Masculine head of good proportions. Sturdy topline. Admirable front and rear angulations. Correct textured coat. Impressive turn of stifle. Movement was accurate in all directions, and he did it with purpose. BOS
