AV DACHSHUND Thank you to the society for the kind invitation
to judge the stakes classes at your Open show, I had some lovely dogs to
judge which made for some very close decisions and an enjoyable day. Thanks
to Michelle for Stewarding for me, it was very much appreciated! Baby Puppy
Standard (1) 1 Starkey's Fredanna Moonlight Cyprus Class - Black and tan
male of excellent type and lovely proportions. He has a handsome head,
correct almond eye and strong muzzle. Long, clean neck, well set into an
excellent front assembly, with voluminous thorax, well laid shoulders, equal
return of upper arm, good bone and feet. Good clean lines to his body. He
has good height/depth to length ratios, with good ribbing. He moved true,
holding a lovely profile outline. Baby Puppy Miniature (3,1) â€" two lovely
siblings who share many of the same qualities. 1 Nash's Sharnphilly
Thumbelina with Mutoko - Lovely red brindle baby girl of excellent type. She
has a pretty head of correct conical shape and a strong muzzle, dark almond
eyes and well-set ears. Beautifully crested neck set into well-angled
shoulders, excellent return of upper arm, bone and feet. Strong topline
thanks to her lovely ribbing, plump rear with good width of thigh,
well-turned stifles and strong hocks. She moved true and was very well
presented by her handler. Delighted to award her Best Baby Puppy. 2 Nash'
Sharnphilly Tom Thumb with Mutoko - Male, sister to one. Brindle, and of
excellent type. Handsome head of good proportions and correct ears. Clean
neck, well-angled front assembly. Excellent bone and feet. Nicely shaped
body with good ground clearance. Plump, well-angled rear. He moved well when

youngster and did well, and I'm delighted to see he has his title. Handsome
head of excellent proportions, strong muzzle, well-shaped and set ears.
Long, strong, crested neck, set into the best of front assemblies.
Voluminous thorax, excellent lay of shoulder and return of upper arm giving
ideally placed forelegs, well underneath him. Excellent bone and feet.
Nicely shaped body with ribbing extending well back, with strong topline and
gradual underline. Plump, well-angled rear assembly with good turn of
stifle, excellent width of first and second thigh, and strong, well-let down
hocks. He moved true with balance, with excellent reach and drive. AV Puppy

Teckeltown AV Vintage (2) â€" both super exhibits! 1 Taylor's Debbiejay
Magical Flo - At 11 years, this mini smooth-haired, red female would easily
pass for half her age. Won this class on her movement today. She has lovely
balance and body proportions, shown in excellent coat and condition, pretty
head, beautiful neck into lovely front assembly with good bone and feet,
strong top line, deep ribcage, which extends well back, well-angled rear
with good turn of stifle and excellent width of thigh, strong hocks, free
and accurate mover. Well done. 2 Starkey's CH Carpaccio Jasper for Hamoura
ShCM VW - Smooth-haired, black and tan male of 14 years, who is an absolute
credit to his owner. Still very much the showman, holding a lovely profile
outline, and moving out like a youngster. He has a handsome head, powerful
jaws, dark eye, well-set ears, crested neck of good length, beautifully
constructed forehand, with well-placed elbows and good bone, well-ribbed
back, plump, well-angled rear and strong hocks. You can tell he still loves
to be shown, as he moved freely around the ring. AV Special Beginners
Standard (1) 1 Sirrell's Hopewood Dream Come True - Wire-haired female of 14
months who has lovely balance. She has an excellent head of good proportions
with good beard and furnishings, well-set and shaped ears, strong reach of
neck into a well-laid shoulder with good return of upper arm, excellent bone
and compact feet. Well-ribbed back with good top and underlines, standing a
little higher in the rear at the moment which should hopefully even out as
she matures but with low strong hocks. Shown in good harsh coat, she moved
freely and was well-handled, the bond she shares with her handler was lovely
to observe. AV Special Beginners Miniature (9,3) â€" a lovely class with
close decisions. 1 Bosworth's Bronia Solange at Louromi - 1 year old red,
