Dachshund ( Long Haired)
PD (3) 1 Chick’s Neropa Black Magic. B/t, very promising, loved his head, lovely expression, dark eye, excellent keel for one so young, low to ground, well boned, good ribbing, well bent stifles, moved true fore and aft, in good coat. 2 Cooper & Steadman’s Darsoms Zuave At Merrygarth. Sound red in lovely condition, masculine head, dark eye, good reach of neck and length of back, neat front, good ribcage, preferred hind action and angulation of one, moved well. 3 Dicker’s Abydachs Licensed To Thrill At Sochorlong.
JD (2) 1 Burke & Manston’s Bonavoir Cloneylogan. B/t larger than I like but his overall balance and movement won him his place, head a little heavy but a good shape, excellent keel, low to ground, level topline, good hind angulation that enabled him to move with drive. 2 Page’s Chipperfield Brigadier. Red with attractive head and dark eye, good length of neck and back, ribbing carried well back, level topline, moved well going away but rather wide in front, slightly short of upper arm.
ND (4) 1 Darsoms Zuave At Merrygarth. 2 Jordan’s Resurgam Moonlight Sonata. Rather apprehensive on the day, well bodied, level topline, well angled quarters, not the elegance of one, moved soundly.
PGD (12) 1 Lawrence’s Peverleigh Mr Stripe. Quality red with lovely head and expression, dark eye, good length of neck, good shoulder, tight elbows, good depth of ribbing, level topline, sound quarters, moved true with drive, not overdone in any way. 2 Garman’s Albaney Black Buckanear. B/t, larger than one, masculine head, dark eye but showing a little haw, good length of neck and back, excellent keel, well bent stifles, moved well, preferred front movement and ribbing of one, in good coat and condition. 3 Furneaux’s Voryns Fellini.
LD (6) 1 Edwards & Pankhurst’s Danward Sibelius. Very neat well balanced b/t of correct size, moved absolutely true fore and aft and stood true on the table with no evidence of being cow-hocked, unlike so many other males here on the day. Attractive head and eye, lovely expression, excellent forehand, tight elbows, fitting against good ribbing, well turned stifles, short hocks, moved with drive maintaining his outline, liked him very much, sound all through, pleased to award him his first CC. 2 Booth’s Abbalongdat Angel Eyes. Red of quality, good head and eye, long neck and good length of back, excellent keel and ribbing, well bent stifles, level topline, overall well balanced, moved well but closer behind than one. 3 Andrews’ Darsoms Zarius At Isanhurst.
OD (5) 1 Larkin’s Larkin’s Ch & Ir Ch Larkhund Dark Destroyer. Elegant b/t of quality, love his head and expression, darkest of eyes, good neck and keel, neat front, ribbing carried well back, level topline, well balanced all through, good hind angulation, short hocks, moved with drive, well presented. Res CC. 2 Mitchell & Hanney’s Frankanwen Sundance To Bronia. Another very nice male, masculine head of good shape, would like slightly darker eye, good length of neck and back, excellent keel and ribbing, good depth to body, sound quarters, not quite the angulation of one, overall a well balanced dog, moved with drive, well handled. 3 Chapman’s Witchespell War Lord. Sp Beginners
D (4) 1 Walkley’s Rosenket Royal York Sundown. Rather disinterested in showing, overall balance ok, level topline, masculine head, moved close in front.
MPB (4) 1 Oxley’s Owlery Golden Splendour. Thought this red baby was just lovely. If she carries on the way she looks now she will have a very promising future. Pretty head with expressive dark eyes, good length of neck and back, low to ground, well placed shoulders, tight elbows, neat front and feet, good ribbing, balanced all through, sound quarters, moved well with drive. BP. I was pleased to hear that she went on to BPIS. 2 Clarke’s Tekalhaus Kruggerant. I also liked this puppy. very much and thought her extremely promising, beautiful head of correct shape, excellent forehand and length of back, deep ribbing, well turned stifles, short hocks, low to ground, in fact she was fairly similar in overall balance and outline to one and I’m sure they will often change places, she moved with drive but a little erratically, and this cost her first place. I loved both these puppies and wish them well for the future. 3 Chappell’s Hilmar Velvet Zella At Glenedee.
PB (5) 1 Booth’s Abbalongdat Ms Honey Honey. Quality red baby in lovely condition, attractive head, dark eye, nice expression, good shoulder placement, excellent keel, neat front, level topline, ribs carried well back, good depth of body, well bent stifles, kept her outline on the move. 2 Sutton’s Dolan Cupid Golden Dawn At Damai. Another attractive red baby, feminine head, lovely expression, level topline, excellent ribbing, good hins angles, short hocks, well balanced but slightly straighter in upper arm than one, moved with drive. 3 Chick’s Neropa Lady Of Darkness.
JB (5) 1 Mitchell’s Metadale Moment Of Truth At Bronia. Well balanced bitch of correct size, lovely head and expressive dark eyes, reachy neck, excellent forehand, deep ribbing, sound quarters, short hocks, maintained a level topline on the move, good hind action, close up for Res CC, easy winner in this class. 2 Chapman’s Melminds Melanee. Fairly sound bitch moving true fore and aft, nice head, dark eye, pronounced forechest, good ribbing and length of back, well boned and conditioned. 3 Booth’s Darsoms Zarionette With Abbalongdat.
NB (1) 1 Tomlinson’s Winglow Classy Lady. Pretty head, dark eye, long level topline, good bend of stifle, happy little girl that moved fairly well.
PGB (10) 1 Garman’s Albaney Danielle. Red girl, won this class on her overall balance and outline, attractive head of correct shape, excellent forechest, tight elbows fitting neatly against a long ribcage, well bent stifles, in good coat and condition, moved true but a little sluggishly. 2 Booth’s Abbalongdat Marionette. Pretty bitch in a smaller mould, neat front with pronounced sternum, good ribbing and depth all through, sound hindquarters, moved with drive, preferred length of back of one but a very nice Dachshund. 3 Lawrence’s Peverleigh Another Vision.
LB (8) 1 Larkin’s Larkhund Millie. Feminine b/t in lovely coat and condition, correct size, pretty head, nice expression, dark eye, long neck, well laid shoulders, excellent forechest, firm level topline which she held on the move, went well. 2 Edwards & Pankhurst’s Danward Symphony. Pretty b/t similar in many ways to one but not quite the hind angulation, good reach of neck, neat forehand, correct ribbing, maintained a level topline on the move, true both coming and going away. I see she is litter sister to my DCC winner. 3 Martin’s Penerley Jump For Joy.
OB (6) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Gold Trinket. Quality red bitch of correct size, lovely balanced outline, attractive head of good shape, dark eye, reachy neck, good forechest, neat front, ribbing carried well back, good depth of body, low to ground, well bent stifles, short hocks, well presented in lovely condition, super to watch on the move, flowed around the ring effortlessly, completely true both coming and going away, liked her free movement and overall balance and outline, pleased to award her her 2nd CC and BOB. 2 Larkin’s Swansford Leadora To Larkhund. Loved this bitch’s head and expression, really pretty and very feminine, in a bigger mould than one and moved closer behind but she is well balanced with a firm level topline, immaculate forehand, long neck, good ribbing, good hind angles, neat feet, excellent side gait. Res CC. 3 Burke’s Loggeta Laylanna With Bonavoir.
