MP (4). 1 Liddle’s Morali Springbank. Shaded red, v smart p, moved with drive, fore and aft, good fore quarters and length of ribbing, heavier in head than some; 2 Lawrence’s Peverleigh Solo Vision; 3 Cook and Coulson’s Bournder Emerald Star.
P (2). 1 Barrow’s Metadale Moon Dancer from Frankanwen. Clear red boy of substance, v handsome boy with lovely forehand, moving true both ways and with excellent drive, beautifully handled to win BPIB and RDCC.
J (1). 1 Smith’s Rodima Reach For Gold. Large clear red with the best of bone and feet, good spring and length of ribbing, fails in hind angulation and movement.
PG (6). 1 Alford’s Loxbar Private Murray. Heading a disappointing class, 1 and 2 both of similar type, both clear red, good bone, shoulders, spring of rib and length of keel, not my favourite head; 2 Page’s Chipperfield Brigadier. V glamorous although narrower ribbing than 1, moved away well but did not like croup or tail set; 3 Garlick’s Rangelwood Walnut.
L (10). 1 Edward’s and Pankhurst’s Danward Sibelius. Close decision between the first two, well boned b/t with good shoulders and hind angulation, well balanced all through, good spring and length of ribbing and prominent forechest, moving with drive to win the class, coat rather wavy at present; 2 Oxley’s Larkhund Latest Destroyer. Similar type b/t to 1, better type of coat but losing out on hind drive; 3 Negus’s Shardaroba Midnight Star.
O (8). 1 Jordan and Nightingale’s Rodima The Tuff. One I have admired from the ringside, b/t with best of masculine head, excellent shoulder angulation with good fore chest, length and spring of ribs and follow through of keel, super bone and balance overall, an honest d with nothing to hide, lovely overall balance and size, so sound and steady, pleased to award him the DCC and BOB; 2 Mitchell and Hanney’s Frankanwen Sundance to Bronia. Glamorous shade of red of v different type to 1, another I have often admired with a v elegant carriage, beautiful shoulders and hind angulation, but moving close fore and aft here; 3 Burke and Manston’s Bonavoir Seven Sisters.
MP (4). 1 Liddle’s Morali Kinlaith. Little sister to MPD winner, clear red girl v similar in type to 1, lovely head and elegant neck, good bone and feet, well angulated behind and balanced all through; 2 Plevin’s Morali Caol Ila. Similar remarks to 1 although will needs more time than her litter sister, larger than 1 and narrower at front as yet, well handled; 3 Cook and Coulson’s Bournder Royal Emerald.
P (5). 1 Atkin’s Kantis Kreme Georgette. Heading a lovely class with lots of promise for the future, mature red clear feminine girl moving with drive and holding a lovely top out line, v good shoulder angulation and follow through keel, still needs to lengthen in ribbing, good hind quarters; 2 Mitchell’s Darsoms Zophisticate of Bronia. Similar remarks apply and with excellent hind quarters construction, not the strength of top line of 1 as yet and preferred the winners head; 3 Jordan and Nightingale’s Rodima Sugar Candy.
J (5). 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Rock N Roll Dream. Lovely clear red b in super bloom and well handled, good fore quarters construction from shoulder to end of keel, not too strong in hind action on the day; 2 Mitchell’s Darsoms Zerenity at Bronia. Quality b/t low to ground and again beautifully handled, well muscled throughout with good length and spring of ribbing, tended to squat behind when stacked, two promising btiches for the future; 3 Clarke’s Tekalhaus Kruggerand.
PG (8). 1 Lawrence’s Peverleigh Follow That Vision. Again the first of two promising bitches, b/t with lovely shoulder placement and fore chest, moving true both ways, rather longer overall than 2 and holding a better outline; 2 Negus’s Tarramist Cosmic Girl. Shaded red who is overall v sound, similar remarks to the 1 but not quite the length or spring of ribbing, tended to collapse behind when stacked; 3 Earles’s Earlsdac Mistic Meg.
L (5). 1 Mitchell’s Metadale Moment Of Truth at Bronia. An easy winner here, lovely balance, feminine if rather small for my taste, good drive fore and aft, well angulated shoulders with good length of ribbing and correct hind angulation, handled well in the challenge to win RCC; 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Taeda. Slightly larger b, taller but well balanced, not my type of head and not moving as well behind as 1; 3 Negus’s Tarramist Angel of Harlem.
O (5). Two v feminine bitches. 1 Atkin’s Kantis Koko Chanel. B/t in lovely bloom, moving true both ways and with drive and giving a picture of strength with femininity, not giving of her best on the table but coming into her own on the move, lovely fore chest and angulated shoulders and well let down behind, change of handler in the challenge made all the difference as she settled down to the job, delighted to award her the BCC; 2 Oxley’s Owlery Dakota. Lovely clear red b with well laid shoulders, well handled to show her finer points, rather shorter in ribbing for her length and moving narrower behind than 1.
