LONG HAIRED
I was very impressed by the quality of the entry. Thinking especially of dogs, there were many with lots to offer. I think that a good dog is often at his best between 3 and 6 years. So a lot of the youngsters have time on their side. One word on the downside there were quite a few with tartared teeth and when you get to the nitty gritty it counts against you.
PD. (5). 1. McFaul’s, Dachville Distant Dream. Attractive 10 months old. Nice head, eye and ears. Lovely front assembly. Oval deep chest. Good length of ribbing and keel. Properly angulated fore and aft. Lovely feet. Moved out with drive and extension. 2. Newport’s, Rodima Welsh Wizard. 8 months old b/t. Lovely head and eye. Not the ribbing of winner but nice quarters used to advantage and good tight feet. Once he learns the ropes should do well. 3. Halsall’s, Brynalyn Noble Quest for Kiddles.
JD. (2). 1. Cooper and Steadman’s, Blue Velvet by Merrygarth. B/t. Handsome head, well arched neck into well laid shoulders. Correct front assembly. Ribbing and keel reasonable. Strong quarters providing the drive for super movement. He flowed round the ring. 2. Furneaux’s, Cairos Astraire. S/r. Lovely head and eye. Correct front assembly. Good angulation fore and aft. Slightly more length than winner. Nice feet. On the move slightly less settled than the winner. Should do well as he matures.
SpBD. (2). 1. Halsall’s, Brynalyn Noble Quest for Kiddles. Third in PD. Still has lots of growing up to do. S/r. Lovely head, good shoulder placement. Ribbing and keel good enough. Moves out well when he wants. 2. Hobson’s, Ranglewood Azures. Red with nice head and eye. Needs to lose weight over the shoulders. He looked a bit stuffy. Ribbing and keel good. Lovely tight feet.
