LONG HAIRED
JD (1) 1. Mitchell’s Bronia Patriarch. Just out of puppy and head still showing a little of the softness of immaturity - but a very masculine, handsome, boy for all that. Pleasing length of neck, strong prominent breastbone and good ribcage. Strong level topline. Angulation balanced fore and aft to give sound movement and commendable hind extension. Lovely feet. Challenged his litter sister for BOB - it was a very close decision but I felt that he was just that little more ‘finished’.
YD (1) 1. Fossett’s Melminds Method in Madness. Pleasing head. Nice ribcage and reasonably balanced angulation. Would have preferred better feet. Hind action may have been better if the dog had moved at a smarter pace.
PGD (2) 1. Mitchell’s Dacquoise Sebastian Sooty. Broader in head than the second place winner. Good mouth. Pleasing ribcage. Moved reasonably true from all directions. 2. Fossett’s Melminds Method in Madness
LD (2) 1. Shield’s Abydachs A Night to Remember. Masculine, handsome head. Excellent ribcage and balanced angulation. Lovely feet. Good reach and true footfall in fore action. Not quite the strength of drive in hindquarters as the Reserve Best Dog - but pushed very strongly for the placing. 2. Chapman’s Melminds Mastercopy. Nice head and expression. Pleasing feet. Just preferred the ribcage and hind action of the class winner.
OD (1) 1 Cook & Rhodes’ Bournder Emerald Star. Reserve Best Dog. Very handsome masculine boy. Presented a pleasing overall picture. Excellent ribcage. Good feet. Moved true fore and aft and strode out quite strongly. Just preferred the neck and prosternum of the Junior dog in the Challenge.
PB (2) 1 Mitchell’s Loggeta Royal Charisma. Very pretty, very feminine 9 month old bitch with excellent ribcage and pleasing length of brisket. Very nice feet. Moved true and with good hind extension. Best Puppy in Breed. 2. Cook & Rhodes’ Bournder Royal Sapphire. Excellent prosternum, good feet. Not a ‘happy teddy’ today - but boy, can this girl ‘motor’. Long free flowing stride, plenty of reach and drive and true fore and aft.
JB (1) 1. Mitchell’s Bronia Playgirl. Very feminine head on good length of neck. Excellent prosternum and ribcage. Quite balanced overall and moved purposefully, true fore and aft and with some reach and drive. Lovely feet. Best Bitch.
PGB (1) 1. Mitchell’s Bronia Charisma. Very pleasing head carried well and set on good length of neck. Excellent prosternum, ribs carried well back but would prefer better finish of brisket. I was impressed with the length of upper arm. Moved well and with hind extension. Reserve Best Bitch.
