LONG HAIRED
Thank you to the exhibitors for such a quality entry, my first appointment in this variety.
PD. (2). 1. Metcalfe’s, Metadale Major Decision. Very nice puppy. Won this class on front construction and pigmentation. Very good feet. Nice head and level topline. Went well. 2. Wedge’s, Dolan Day After Day. Lovely outline on the stance. Good angulation both ends. Lovely head. A nice exhibit.
JD. (4). 1. Oxley’s, Owlery Valentine. Lovely youngster. Black and tan with a beautiful head and in gleaming condition. Lovely outline standing and on the move. Good shoulders. Well ribbed. Moved soundly.
PGD. (5). 1. Shield’s, Abydachs A Night to Remember JW Sh CM. Very close decision between first and second. Winner was a red dog who showed better than second. Both nice size and lovely outlines. Both excellent shoulders and fronts. Winner had good pigmentation and both well ribbed. 2. Geeson’s, Abydachs One Night Stand. Lovely b/t. All attributes good which fit together well. Winner just had more confidence. 3. Hale’s, Abydachs Night on the Town. When I looked in the catalogue I see these were litter brothers. Well done.
LD. (7). 1. Robert’s, Swansford Lyrenstan Picasso. Another very close decision. Lovely young red dog of excellent size. Won this class on shoulder construction. Compact, well ribbed with a beautiful head. Good pigmentation. Lovely outline standing and on the move. 2. Byrke and Manston’s, Logetta Antrim Boy from Bonavoir. Beautiful b/t who is all of a piece standing and on the move. Well ribbed. Good shoulders. Liked him a lot. 3. Negus’s, Shardaroba Rigel by Tarramist.
OD. (7). 1. Geeson’s, Abydachs Oh What a Night JW. Loved everything about this dog, especially his size and angulation both ends. Moved around the ring with verve and in gleaming condition. CC and BOB. It made my day when told it was his third. Well done. 2. Oxley’s, Ir Ch. Larkhund Latest Destroyer at Owlery Sh CM. I have judged this dog before at a breed show and still love everything about him. Excells in head and eye and size. RCC. 3. Mitchell’s, Ch. Bronia Monte Cristo.
PB. (10). 1. Mitchell’s, Bronia Playgirl. Loved everything about this bitch. Beautiful lines and everything flows into place with such good angulation. Excellent shoulders, ribbing and head. BP. 2. Harris’s, Zarcrest Oh Gosh I’m Posh. Another lovely red bitch. Well off for bone. Attractive head. Lovely outline standing and on the move. Well put together. Very nice. 3. Cross and Rawson’s, Loggeta Painted Lady.
JB. (7). 1. Oxley’s, Owlery Hedi Lamar. Another attractive b/t. Excellent head and ribbing. Moved soundly and in excellent bloom. 2. Garlick’s, Ranglewood Evelyn. This bitch has the most beautiful shape where everything just fits into place. Needs a bit more time to complete the picture and of she shows more enthusiasm could trouble the best. 3. Negus’s, Tarramist Assignation.
PGB. (13). 1. Boyle’s, Frankanwen Dancing Queen for Zarcrest. Lovely red, all of a piece and everything flows into the right place. Liked her head, pigmentation and feet. Good depth throughout. RCC. 2. Geeson’s, Abydachs Hot Summer Nights. Another classy exhibit from this kennel. A quality bitch in good bloom. 3. Negus’s, Tarramist Waterloo Sunset.
LB. (6). 1. Surrell’s, Bokra Jazz. Very attractive red bitch. Compact and of good size. Moved like a dream. Especially liked her angulation both ends. Lost out to RCC winner who I felt just had a shade more length of body. 2. Mitchell’s, Hound’s Bronia Design (Imp). Lovely head and moved very well and in good bloom. Everything in the right place but I preferred the lowness to the ground of winner. 3. Cross’s, Loggeta Spirit in the Sky.
OB. (6). 1. Metcalfe’s, Metadale Make It Happen. Beautiful shape. Low to ground. Neck flowed into correct shoulders and excellent hindquarters. Very attractive head and well off for bone. CC. 2. Oxley’s, Owlery Czarina. Classy, quality bitch bit I preferred the lowness to the ground of winner.
