LONG HAIRED

A high quality entry but lack of prosternum and short ribbing were in evidence. JD (1) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Patriarch. Handsome masculine red dog, noted his nice size, good shoulder placement and lovely head and expression. Moved well keeping balance on the move. With maturity will trouble the best. LD (2) 1 Burke & Manston’s Loggeta Antrim Boy from Bonavoir. Quality b/t dog with many attributes, excellent shoulders and ribbing, always balanced, his size and movement won the day in this class. A good showman. RBD. 2 Wharton’s Swansford Vanador. Bigger red dog, nicely constructed with plenty of prosternum and a lovely head and outlook; unfortunately was a bit sluggish on the move and at times rather proud of his tail. I have seen him go better. OD (2) 1 Geeson’s Ch Abydachs Oh What a Night. Extremely high quality shaded red dog cast in a smaller mould than 2. Excellent overall construction with lovely head and expression, beautifully angulated fore and aft. He moves with drive and purpose keeping his outline at all times. A real eyecatcher. BOB. 2 Oxley’s Owlery Valentine. Another dog to be proud of. B/T showman approaching maturity and shown in gleaming condition, good all through, his head, shoulders, ribbing and movement are all worthy of special mention. Unlucky to come up against the winner. PB (1) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Justice in a Dream. Very appealing 9 month old red bitch, still very much a baby and very much in the mould of her sire, today’s BOB winner, nice all through with good shoulder and well off for prosternum which is a big plus, should have a good future. BP. JB (3, 1) 1 Bronia Playgirl. Another smallish quality red bitch, excellent construction throughout with good angles and the best of movement. Loved her feminine outlook. RBB. 2 Furber’s Dorysa Starry Night. Another red bitch, not quite the quality of 1 but has many of the breed requirements. Overweight on the day which rather spoilt her outline. PGB (4, 1) 1 Wharton’s Swansford Phillydora. Red bitch, bigger than some but of excellent overall conformation with bags of quality, good honest sort and the best mover in the class. 2 Mitchell’s Bronia Charisma. Finer type of shaded red with a lovely feminine headpiece, a high quality bitch but not the hind movement of 1. 3 Hayes’ Swansford Pandora von Dialhouse. LB (4, 2) 1 Hayes Rodima Dark Crystal mit Dialhouse. Nice b/t, all of a piece, not being overdone in any way and a good mover, another good honest bitch. 2 Plevin’s Saucy Sara at Rodima. Similar breeding to 1 but not putting it all in today and not the hind movement of 1. OB (3, 1) 1 Mitchell’s Ch, Bronia Carmelita. Another elegant, correctly sized red bitch from this kennel, full of quality with such a feminine head, well constructed throughout. She really comes into her own on the move. BB. 2 Plevin’s Morali Caol Ila. B/t bitch cast in a larger mould, perhaps not the extreme quality of 1 but has many attributes, good shoulders and ribbing, strong topline, excellent coat and condition, showed well.
