LONG HAIRED
I enjoyed judging my favourite variety and many thanks to exhibitors for a
quality entry. There were several dogs that I could have happily awarded top
honours to.
PD. (4). 1. Clarke’s, Hilmar Velvet Harvest Gold. BP. Substantially
mature s/r with beautiful outline. Masculine head. Firm fornt and good
forechest. Well rounded strong quarters. Moved soundly and with a little more
co-ordination. Should do extremely well. .2 Geeson’s, Abydachs Incantation.
Lovely exhibit of smaller type. Good head, neck and shoulder. So well angulated
front and rear with excellent ribbing. A free moving stylish dog. 3. Hall’s,
Marshwick Masterpiece.
JD. (2). 1. Dare’s, Bronia Classic Cool at Darsoms. Good sound solid dog
with lovely masculine head and good neck line. Excellent width all through with
well rounded rump and strong well angulated quarters. Moved freely keeping a
good topline. 2. Milne’s, Rodima Mystic Knight. Very elegant dog with lovely
outline. Strong quarters with excerllent turn of stifle. Free sound action with
good ground coverage. Preferred overall width and front construction of winner.
PGD. (4). 1. Furneaui Cairos Astairc. This lovely shaded red filled my
eye. I liked everything about him. Good head and eye shape. Best of fronts. Well
sprung rib carried well back. Good width all through with strong well rounded
quarters. Lovely parallel movement with good stride. If only he would show more
enthusiasm on the move could trouble the best. 2. Sutton’s, Damai Master
Benedict Sh CM. Elegant stylish b/t in lovely condition. Good head and eye.
Reachy neck and excellent ribbing. Well angulated front and rear. Moved freely
but I felt he lost his topline on the move and I preferred the underline of
winner. 3. Milner’s, Swansford Paprikador.
LD. (2). 1. Neguss’s, Shardaroba Rigel by Tarramist. A pleasure to go
over this beautiful dark s/r. Shown in immaculate condition. Classic conical
head and eye. Strongest of toplines. Good reachy neck with ribbing well back.
Excellent rear angulation and won on his driving action. Looked a picture in
profile. 2. Edwards and Pankhurst’s Marshwick Shades of Black at Danward.
Smaller dog of different type. Well balanced and of sound construction with good
ribbing. Standing four square on excelent feet. Moved soundly but preferred
head, expression and driving action of winner.
OD. (8). Class of varying types. 1. Geeson’s, Ch. Abydachs Oh What a
Night CC. Lovely s/r Champion of excellent size. In tip top form and condition
and never stopped showing. So well constructed. Good proportions and had all the
essentials. Long, low and level using short hocks to power around the ring with
free flowing action. Very eye catching. 2. Edawards and Pankhurst’s, Neropa Ace
of Soades at Danward. RCC. Another excellent exhibit from this kennel. Very
sound balanced b/t. So well constructed with good firm body and strong quarters.
Best of feet. Moved soundly but not quite the presence and drive of CC winner.
3. Burke and Manston’s, Henry Hoover of Bonnavoir.
PB. (8). A lovely class of quality puppies. 1. Geeson’s, Abydachs
Intrigue. Lovely b/t of good length and proportions. Loved her head and eye
shape. Good front construction. Excellent ribbing and well angulated rear. Held
a good topline and moved out freely. 2. Booth and Elsley’s, Abbalongdat I Have a
Dream. Lovely constructed clear red giving away a bit in age. The shape and type
I like. Very balanced, firm topline with strong hammy quarters. Fluent mover,
very promising. 3. Mitchells’, Bronia by Design.
JB. (3). 1. Dares’, Fragglerock Rosy Martini at Darsum. Impressibe tylish
red built on beautiful lines. Good head, eye and expression with lovely arched
neck. Best of toplines and correct underline. Good robust ribbing with well
rounded strong quarters. Sound free mover. Considered her for top honours and
this will come with maturity. 2. Wilson’s, Owlery Marikeeta at Rogermardax. S/r
of different and taller type. Lovely feminine head. Sound front construction and
well angulated rear. Moved soundly maintaing a level topline. Preferred overall
type and shape of winner.
NB. (1). 1. Mitchell’s, Bronia Classy Chassis at Imarkia. Sound s/r of
good quality. Lovely to go over. Good head and eye shape. Correct front
assembly. Strong firm well ribbed body with excellent topline. Well angulated
rear. Treu free mover. Just needs a little more finish.
PGB. (6). My first two were close up and could change places. 1. Boot and
Elsley’s, Abbalongdat Gimme Gimme. Quality red with good bone, widthm balanced
and construction. Good ehad with sharp expression. The depth I like and lovely
oval shape. Strongest of quarters. Moved fluently holding a good topline. 2.
Burke and Manston’s, Bonavoir Sterling Silver. Very attractibe s/d with lovely
clean lines. Best of heads and good front construction. Lovely arched neck and
good lay of shoulder. Firm strong body. Well ribbed with rounded quarters.
Lovely turn of stifle. Went around with great style but I felt that winner held
a better topline. 3. Mitchell’s, Bronia Charisma at Imarika.
LB. (6). A very strong class. 1. Booth and Elsley’s, Abbalongdat McVouylez
Vous CC and BOB. Another top quality exhibit from this kennel with the smae good
width. Lovely depth, oval shape and well rounded quarters. Good ehad with keen
expression. Strong topline held at all times. Strong bone and good round feet.
Moved around the ring with great aplomb. Delighted to award her BOB. 2.
Mitchell’s, Bronia Playgirl. Red of great quality. Sound all through with strong
well angulated rear. Impressive outline with best of ribbing. Strode out well
with great extension but I preferred the more direct front action of winner. 3.
Geeson’s, Abydachs Hot Summer Nights JW.
OB. (1). 1. Mitchells’, Ch. Bronia Pastiche RCC. Excellent Champion and so
typical from this kennel. Classical cinical shaped head with correct eye. Very
reachy neck with best of shoulders and lovely constructed front with prominent
forechest. Superb outline with great turn of stifle and very strong rear.
Correct parallel movement with good extension. On the day I just preferred the
overall balance of CC winner.
