Not the best of weather for this breed but dogs & exhibitors seemed to cope well, many really beautiful dogs on show, some I felt were rather overdone for size & bone & some of my decisions were fairly close in this quality competition, one or two badly carried tails spoilt otherwise good examples, temperaments excellent. My BOB out of the top draw, so right in all departments, size, type, quality, soundness of movement all there, great credit to the breed & 4th in the group. Some beautiful bitches, the CC & RCC, both on two CCs, the future looks good for this old established breed.

V (2) 1 McFaul’s Ch/Ir/Int Ch Darsoms Zwagerson, well off for bone & substance, great quality, moving & showing well; 2 Brearley’s Darkfell Saracen at Xanadax, classy dog, carries a heavy coat. MPD (3) 1 Dare’s Darsoms Zupremo, does not need to grow on, excellent head & eye, good front & feet, a classy dog; 2 Booth & Elsley’s Darsoms Fernando with Abbalongdat, needs to settle. Quality dog, can turn the tables; 3 Paskins’ Kindeace Prince of Dunbar. PD (1) A. JD (2) 1 Dunbar’s Bronia Fernando, refined dog of great quality, moving well. Tail carriage needs to settle; 2 McLennan’s Bronia Firecracker at Cheguevar, classy dog of quality. Poor tail carriage. PGD (2) 1 Paskins’ Owlery Destroyer at Kindeace, good coat, shade light in eye, quality dog. Feet could be tighter; 2 Nightingale & Arnold’s Rodima Bonnie Chance at Doral.
