LONG HAIRED

May I say thank you to Mrs Dale and Mr Richardson, my stewards, for running the ring so well. Also the the exhibits and exhibitors for coping with the damp and muddy conditions in an admirable way.

PD 1 Best Dog, Best Puppy and BOB, Burke and Manston’s Bonavoir Solomons Seal. A very sound performance from this young dog. Long reachy neck supporting a sound head, very expressive clear eyes. A front of correct proportions, well ribbed body of correct lengtj. Good top and underline. The most pleasing of coats, it is hard to take your eyes off him! Sound and well balanced movement and presented in perfect condition. Shortlisted in the Hound group - one to watch for the future.

JD
1 Negus’ Terramist Adonis Dream. Good head and forechest. Moved well and held his shape at all times. Very sound all round. 2 Rees’ Loxbar Master Mercanter at Aquarelle. Was just edged out of first place, but could win any class. A sound all round performance.

PGD
1 Rees’ Phaeland North Light at Aquarelle. Nice front assembly and in good coat. Strong and well angulated hindquarters, giving very well balanced movement.

OD
1 and Res Best Dog, Negus’ Shardaroba Rigel by Terramist. Pushed hard for Best Dog. So much to like about him, he is masculine in appearance with a lovely head and expressive eyes. Strong neck and very strong and elegant movement. A real showman. 2 Oxley’s Ch Owlery Valentine Sh CM. A pity he had to meet the winner on the day. Very sound exhibit and full of substance. Good frontage, lovely top and underline. Coped with the ring conditions very well. 3 Cooper and Steadman’s Blue Velvet at Merrygarth.

PB
1 Burke and Manston’s Bonavoir Classical Touch. A soundly constructed puppy, litter sister to the Best Do and has all the similar fine attributes. A very mature performance from one so young - another to watch in the future. 2 Bradley’s Metadale My Decision. A very feminine bitch, correct head and well sprung ribs. Nothing to fault on movement.

JB
1 and Best Bitch, Negus’ Terramist Invocation. Presented in excellent coat, nice reachy neck and holds her shape both standing and on the move.

PGB
1 Negus’ Terramist Ophella. Very elegant neck supporting correct head. Pleasing forechest, plenty of drive as she moves around the ring.

OB
1 and Res Best Bitch. Oxley’s Ir Ch Owlery Czarina. Presented in excellent coat with very attractive furnishings. A sound exhibit full of substance, so strong and well balanced on the move. 2 Edwards and Pankhurst’s Amber Nectar at Danward. Sound all round. Holds a good shape standing and on the move and is so well balanced.
