LONG HAIRED

MPD (4) Three very promising puppies. My third placing, who was the litter brother to the winner, was not happy on the table, so unfortunately had to pay the price, his time will come. 1 Dare's Darsoms Zupremo. Promising 10 month old puppy, good head and shoulders, well boned and movement positive for a youngster. Well schooled and handled. (Best Puppy Dog). 2 Burke And Manston's Bonavoir Solomons Seal. Elegant 7 month red boy with good reach of neck and body proportions. Higher on the leg than Zupremo and needs to tighten in hind movement. 3 Booth And Elsley's Darsoms Fernando With Abbalongat. PD (2,1) 1 Chapman's Marshwick Black Diamond. 8 month b/tan young man, placed 4th in minor puppy. Good head and body proportions, higher on the leg than the other puppies and tended to lose his topline on the move as he was a happy lad and was fond of his tail. Like to see him when he matures and settles. JD (4) 1 Chapman's Marshwick Moonlight Dream Via Melminds. A lot going for this b/tan. Liked his head and neck flowing into good shoulders, the best shoulders of the class. Well angulated fore and aft and correct well covered body. Would like to see tighter feet. Moved out well. 2 Dunbar's Bronia Fernando. Shaded red with lovely head and eye, good body construction but higher on the leg than (1). Similar remarks apply as to the winner but didn't have the same lay back of the shoulder. Preferred the movement and topline of Fernando over Adonis Dream who is still very immature. 3 Negus' Tarramist Adonis Dream. PGD (9,1) 1 Burke And Manston's Marshwick Moon Music From Bonavoir. Handsome red who won this class easily. Litter mate to my Junior winner. Pleasing head, good front and shoulder placement like his brother. Steady mover. 2 Chapman's Melminds Montaray Jack. Overall good body construction but a little narrow all through and tended to move close in front. A good topline which he held on the move. Placed him over Touchstone who was straighter in shoulder and did not have the angulation of Jack and therefore had a more choppy movement. 3 Dunbar'sbronia Touchstone. LD (7) Good class, close decisions between first 5 placings. 1 Edwards And Pankhurst Marshwick Shades Of Black At Danward. Same sire as my Junior and Post Grad winners. Correctly sized, elegant masculine bl/t. Lovely shaped head and eye, good forechest, shoulders and ribbing, low hocks and good rear angulation. Moved well but would like to see a little more animation to finish the picture. 2 Dare's Bronia Classic Cool At Darsoms. Well presented, sound shaded red of different type and higher on the leg than the winner. A lot to like about him especially his hindquarters which enabled him to move out well keeping his topline. Preferred the head and shoulders of the winner but placed him over the b/t Master Benedict who was up to size, had great feet but wasn't so positive in movement. 3 Sutton's Damai Master Benedict. OD (10) A lovely class that I really enjoyed judging. I was spoilt for choice and all decisions were very close. 1 Metcalfe's Ch. Metadale Macquarie. Have given this champion dog a high award before and he is still as well presented and handsome as before. One to be proud of. Correct sized, masculine dog with a straight shaded red coat in great condition. Good body construction all through with firm topline and well muscled quarters which he used to advantage on the move. So well handled. A really close decision in the challenge but just preferred the movement in profile of Zwagerson and his overall demeanour. (Res cc). 2 Mitchell's Ch. Bronia Patriarch. Another quality, well handled champion with a lot to offer the breed and also of correct size and weight. Correct shoulder placement, good front, topline, rear angulation and overall body proportions. Very sound all through and moved well with his handler. Sire of the Best Puppy in Breed. Just preferred Macquarie's front movement and muscle tone, but preferred Patriarch's shoulders and length of upper arm than Distant Dream who was a quality well presented dog and a worthy champion. 3 Mcfaul's -Ir.Ch. Dachville Distant Dream. VD/B (5) Quality class of veterans. 1 McFaul's Ch/Ir/Int Ch. Darsoms Zwagerson. Hard to believe this dog is nearly 8 years old. What a wonderful representative of the breed. This kennels dogs are always so beautifully presented and sympathetically handled and work as one with their handler. The breeder must be proud. Handsome, masculine dog with good head and length of neck running into good shoulders. Well balanced body construction and good length of ribbing. Well angulated fore and aft and moved soundly and with drive keeping a firm topline. It was certainly his day today. CC and BOB. 2 Burke And Manston's Ch/Ir Ch. Bonavoir Seven Sisters. Another great looking 8 year old red boy of quality. Higher on the leg than Zwagerson but well balanced all through and a champion to be proud of, but did not have the rear drive of my winner. 3 Negus' Shardaroba Midnight Sun At Tarramist. MPB (4) First two placings were 8 month litter mates sired by Patriarch (2nd in Open) who also sired the Best Dog Puppy. Splitting hairs in my decisions as they were very similar. They were both well boned, with good forechests, reach of neck, shoulders and firm toplines which they kept on the move. Good rear angulation, low hocks and positive movers for youngsters. Just preferred the overall outline and head of Devil Woman to Devil in Disguise and the hind angulation of the 2nd over Hell's Angel. Will follow these puppies with interest. 1 Mitchell's Bronia Devil Woman (Best Puppy And Bpb). 2 Johnson's Bronia Devil In Disquise At Africadawns. 3 Smith's Xsara Hell's Angel. PB (5) Good line up of promising puppies with great temperaments. 1 Dare's Loxbar Rubi Muri Darsoms. Elegant b/tan with feminine head, good forechest and neck carriage and lay back of shoulder. Liked her overall body construction. Moved out well with her handler keeping a firm topline. So well handled. Pressed hard for Best Puppy Bitch but just preferred the hind angulation and thrust of Devil Woman. 2 Burke And Manston's Bonavoir Causing Chaos. Lovely to go over in all respects and had a well balanced outline standing but not the elegance or maturity of Rubi Muri and was a little soft in topline on the move. Her time will come. Preferred her overall outline and angulation to my 3rd who was litter sister to the winner. 3 Clarke's Loxbar Barby Dazzler To Hilmar. JB (7,1) Another good class. 1 Johnson's Bronia Design A Flair At Africandawns. A red young lady again sired by Patriarch, he certainly seems to be passing on good lay back of shoulders. Liked her head and elegant neck and shoulders good length of ribbing and she moved well, with firm topline, especially in profile but just a touch close behind. 2 Mcnaughton's Bronia Fascination. Another good shaded red higher on the leg than the winner nevertheless a sound specimen of good body proportions and size. Although she moved a little erratically I placed her over I have a Dream, who has a great head and eye, because she is still immature and needs to strengthen in rear movement. 3 Booth And Elsley's Abbalongat I Have A Dream. PGB (4,1) 1 Metcalfe's Metadale Majorette. This red presented a great outline standing and moving. A good head, neck, forechest top line and underline. Well angulated front and back and moved steadily and well with her handler. Won this class on her movement. 2 Booth And Elsley's Abbalongat Head Over Heels. Black and tan with a lot to like and litter sister to 3rd in Junior. Similar remarks apply as to Majorette but just needs to strengthen in rear movement. Close decision between my 2nd and 3rd, just preferred Head over Heels' head and reach of neck and she presented a more balanced picture. 3 Mitchell's Bronia Classy Chassis At Imirika. LB (12) (2) Lovely class to judge. 1 Geeson's Abydachs Intrigue. Well muscled and constructed elegant b/tan girl of quality. She filled my eye, just my type and lovely to go over. Feminine head, good reach of neck, sound front construction and good length and depth of ribbing. Good rear angulation and bend of stifle. Moved well holding a good topline. So well handled to get the best out of her. (CC) Just felt Zwagerson had the edge today on maturity and profile movement. 2 Metcalfe's Metadale Maid From Michigan. Another quality shaded red bitch from this kennel with good head and neck, well angulated front and back and firm topline kept on the move. Moved out well with her handler but lacked the length of upper arm and length of stride of Intrigue. Placed her over the silver dapple Sterling Silver as she tended to lose her topline on the move. 3 Burke And Manston's Bonavoir Stirling Silver. OB (10,3) Quality class. Very close decision between the first two placings. 1 Mcfaul's Ch/Ir Ch. Dachville Perfect Blend. Beautifully presented black and tan exhibit sired by the Dog CC. Feminine head, plenty of forechest, elegant neck flowing into lovely body with good ribbing and firm topline held on the move. Although she moved a touch close in front today she had good rear angulation and drove round the ring keeping her topline and elegant outline (Res CC) Pressed hard in the challenge. 2 Mitchell's Ch. Bronia Pastiche. Worthy champion with conical head and dark eye, good neck and lay back of shoulder and length and depth of ribbing. Overall a quality red who also moved steadily and smoothly with her handler keeping her topline. Just preferred Perfect Blend's driving rear action and coat quality. 3 Mcnaughton's Cedavoch Bewitched.
