Many thanks to my stewards for a smooth running ring. All the hounds were
presented in tip top condition. I found heads to be a problem. Too many broad
back skulls and some with deep stops. Conformation was excellent, as was
movement.
Vet (2) 1 Brearley’s Darkfell Saracen Of Xanadax. B/tan,
beautiful headed boy, good neck, good deep brisket, moved very well. 2 Halsall’s
Distinctive Dream For Kiddles. Red girl, nice coat, good head, correct topline,
moved well.
MPD(1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Kaballah. Very smart young boy, lovely
head and nice dark eye, good neck, keel not fully developed yet but very good
brisket, moved very well with purpose.
PGD(4) 1 Oxley’s Owlery Lewis. A red hound of quality, super head, nice
dark eye, giving excellent expression, not in full coat, but a very impressive
boy. 2 McLennan’s Bronia Firecracker At Cheguevar. Shaded red, more heavy in
head, presented in good condition, moved well, would have looked better on the
move if he kept his tail down. 3 Paskins’ Kindeace Laird Of Lockloy.
LD(6) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Classic Legacy (ai). What a smart boy he is,
sired by one of the best males of all time. This shaded red has what it takes to
go to the top, super moves. Res CC. 2 Johnson’s Bronia Prime Design At
Africandawns. Another top quality boy, lovely head, neck and shoulders, correct
keel, strong body, super hindquarters, moved well. 3 Dunbar’s Bronia Fernando.
OD(3) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Oh What A Night JW. A dog of commancing
presence, super head, beautiful eye shape, good neck and shoulder, perfect
topline, super hindquarters, in excellent condition, moves with drive, a true
showman. CC and BOB. 2 Oxley’s Ch Owlery Valentine JW ShCM. This black and tan
is a heavier type than winner but has a beautiful head, dark eye, the best of
fronts, presented in tip top condition. 3 Boyle &Barrow’s Zarcrest Special
Liaison With Frankanwen.
MPB(1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Mystique. A real baby, not as mature as
the MPD winner, she has a nice head and eye, level topline, she moved very well.
PB(3, 1) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Enchantress. A beautiful youngster, lovely
head and eye, good neck and front, well developed keel, nice bone, in good coat,
she is a super mover, just get rid of the puppy fat. BP. A sure star. 2 Dimon’s
Dimerlin Isolde. Black and tan, very good head, nice dark eye, lovely shape,
just needs to put more into her movement.
PGB(2) 1 Mitchell’s Brynalyn Fancy Free At Inirika. Red girl, she has a
beautiful head, nice dark eye, good front, level topline, strong hindquarters
which she put to good use on the move. 2 Dimon’s Laraine Diamond Lassie For
Dimerlin. Shaded red, close up to winner, she is a lovely shape and a very sound
mover.
LB(4, 1) 1 Oxley’s Owlery Bootilicious. Black and tan of the highest
quality, loved her head and expression, her outline is perfect, moved with great
style. CC. 2 Mitchell’s Bronia Classy Chassis At Inirika. Red, lovely head, good
neck and shoulder, very good keel and front, moved very well. 3 Johnson’s Bronia
Design Flair At Africadawns.
OB(4, 1) 1 Boyle’s Zarcrest Oh Gosh I’m Posh. Very smart girl, lovely
head, dark eye giving true expression, good neck and front, beautiful balanced
hound, handled to get the best out of her on the move. Res CC. 2 Oxley’s Ir Ch
Owlery Czarina. Black and tan. This breeder has some beautiful hounds all of the
same type, super head, just a bit long in back for me, moved very well. 3
