LONG HAIRED
All exhibits were well groomed and without
exception all had clean teeth, and the temperaments were excellent. Some
exhibits were feeling the heat and movement may have been hampered by this.
Broad heads and round eyes were my only real criticism overall, and I felt some
would benefit from losing a little weight.
PD (1)1 Burke & Manston’s Ranglewood Galax with Bonavoi, on his own but
not to be ignored, really fell for this lovely red boy. Super head and eye
shape, nice long neck good shoulders and ribbing. Level with good free movement.
BPIB and Res CC.
JD (4)1 Dare’s Bronia Salvador of Darsoms. Red dog of quality, good
front shoulders and ribbing, moved with drive both fore and aft keeping alevel
topline. 2 Cross’s Loggeta John Collins. Red dog well made throughout, but not
really cooperating on the table. And not the free movement of 1 3 Chapman’s
Melminds My Mate Marley
PGD (6,2)1 Burke and Manstons Loggeta Duke of Marmalade, quality dog of
good proportions good head and eye nice reach tight elbows good Ribbing and
length of body moved out well 2 Chapmans Melminds Monteray Jack Good head and
length of neck on well placed shoulders, nice tight elbows and good feet. 3

LD (6,1)1 Sutton’sDamai Master Benedict Sh CM. Very showy B/T
in gleaming condition, masculine head and good eye shape, shoulders and ribbing.
Extended well on the move keeping good outline, would have liked him to have
been slightly smaller. 2 Edwards & Pankhurst’s Marshwick Shades of Black at
Danward, b/t of good type, well angulated with good head shoulder placement and
ribbing. Not moving as well as 1 3 Fossett’s Melminds Method in Madness
OD (3,1) 1 Geeson’sCh Abydachs Oh What a Night JW. Super red dog, put
down in lovely condition, good head on well arched strong neck, lovely front and
shoulder, good ribbing and firm top line, lovely in outline as he moved
effortlessly around the ring. More than pleased to give CC & BOB 2 Robert’s Ch
Bronia Major Blink. Elegant dark shaded red dog, with good head and reach of
neck. Well off for bone and ribbing moved out true coming and going, just a tad
too much of him for me.
PB (4) 1 Booth & Elsley’s Abbalongdat Miss Ring Ring, lovely shaded red
girl nicely put together, looked good in profile moved and showed well for a
youngster. 2 Lawrence’s Peverleigh Rose of Polly,promising red baby good front
assembly, nicely shaped head and eye, not as mature looking as 1 3 Dimon’s
Dimerlin Isolde
JB (8,3) 1 Dare’s Darsoms Zienna, nice bitch full of quality. Good
front shoulder and spring of rib, tight elbows and good feet, moved and showed
well. 2 Chapman’s Darsoms Ziana at Melminds little to choose between 1 & 2 most
applies to both, but 1 had the edge on the move. 3 Callow’s Metadale Miranda
NB (2)1 Holdsworth’s Bonavoir Sugar Plum at Potogold, b/t in lovely
bloom has a good head and eye, correct front and shoulder good ribbing and
topline, moved with confidence, showing a nice outline. 2 Callow’s Metadale
Miranda shaded red nice to go over well put together and moved out well, but I
really thought she was carrying too much weight to do herself justice!
PGB (5) 1 Booth & Elsley’s Abbalongdat I Have a dream, very feminine
red bitch in lovely coat and condition, attractive head and eye, nicely arched
neck, tight elbows, ribbing well back, level topline, correct size and nicely
balanced with no exaggeration, this with her true movementwon her the CC today.
2 Mitchell’s Brynalyn Fancy Free. Shaded red nicely put together, just a tad
close moving away unlucky to meet 1. 3 Jordan’s Resurgam Lady Gray
LB (5,1) 1 Edwards & Pankhurst Amber Nectar of Danward, pretty red
bitch in lovely condition with good head and eye, correct shoulder ribbing and
topline. Nice tight feet. Moved ok 2 Mitchell’s Bronia Classy Chassis at
Imirika. Sh Red had a good head and eyeshape, with good ribbing and front
assembly, looked good on the move, but tended to run up behind when standing 3

OB (5) 1 Dare’s Ch Loxbar Rubi Muri, very dark b/t bitch of some
quality, lovely head and eye shape, good front and feet. Lovely outline as she
motored around the ring without effort. Worthy champ RCC 2 Robert’s Swansford
Philkadora, pretty red bitch of nice size and shape, nicely bodied with all the
essentials, correct front and prominent fore chest, moved out with drive,
keeping a good outline. 3rd Booth Abbalongdat Ms Voulez vous
Gladys Mead
