LONGHAIRED
Thank you for the good entry and sporting acceptance of my decisions. Had a lot of very good exhibits. Heads are almost all really lovely, only a few with heavy skulls and round eyes. Was sad to see the demise of tight feet with thick pads and well arched toes - splayed, flat feet are not attractive. Presentation was good, all coats were in gleaming condition, an over profuse coat is not good, it does detract from the outline, some exhibits were moving far too close behind. Temperaments as usual were excellent. MPD (2) 1 Mitchell's Bronia Salvador. BP. Liked this well grown and well coated boy for his overall construction, everything as it should be at this age, has bone and substance, head in keeping with his size, has good front and spring of rib, shoulder layback, topline and underline along with strong well angulated quarters were good, happy boy who strode out well, should have a bright future, well bodied for age. 2 Cross' Loggeta O'Neil. This puppy was also of good construction and quality, nothing to dislike, a gleaming red coat, not as yet so settled in movement. PD (2) 1 Geeson's Abydachs Iconic. Red boy, nice size, liked his 'flow' from head, shoulder layback, topline to quarters, has well developed body, moved freely and well. 2 Burke & Manston's Loggeta Duke Of Marmalade. Lovely type red, most lovely head and expression, very well constructed, front, shoulders, ribbing, topline and quarters pleased. At present very loose in movement. JD (5) Strong class. 1 Dare's Darsoms Zuppremo. Liked this dog on sight. He is quality combined with substance and soundness, refined head, dark eye, neck flowed into well placed shoulders, keel prominent, well sprung ribbing, clean, strong outline at all times, movement good with drive behind. 2 Mitchell's Bronia Classic Legacy. Also an excellent boy in superb coat and condition, same comments apply per construction, winner had stronger hind action. 3 Burke & Manston's Bonovoir Solomans Seal. PGD (9, 1) 1 Dunbar's Bronia Fernando. Really liked this red dog of quality, classic head, well carried on reachy neck into good shoulders, front assembly pleased, topline and underline correct, well angulated quarters which he used well on the move, keeping stylish outline at all times. 2 Negus' Tarramist Adonis Dream. B/t of different type, a more solid dog who pleased in his overall construction, front prominent, well ribbed, strong in quarters, kept topline on move, very sound, moved steadily and well. 3 Furneaux' Cairo's Astaire. LD (8, 2) 1 Johnson's Bronia Prime Design. Res DCC. This clear red dog, a nice size, teeming with quality, impressed me as he entered the ring, most lovely head, eye and expression, head carried well, reach and flow of neck into shoulders and such a well constructed body, has a most stylish outline at all times, moved true both fore and aft, with drive and rear extension, all this topped by a correct flat silky coat. 2 Roberts' Bronia Major Blink Swansford. Another all quality exhibit, all over soundness and construction, similar in many ways to above, a shade longer perhaps, very stylish moving freely with drive covering plenty of ground. 3 Eldridge & Swann's Metadale Morgen Hoff. OD (7, 1) 1 Geeson's Ch Abydachs Oh What A Night. DCC and BOB. This handsome shaded red boy is so stylish and so well balanced, shaded red boy, is so stylish and so well balanced, he filled my eye, it is 'poetry in motion', to watch him go with a free even stride, very true both fore and aft, looking as though he could go on all day. He has a refined head, expression, head carriage excellent on reachy neck into layback, front assembly excellent, has body depth, strength in topline and quarters, hind angulation good, tight in elbow, has bone and substance, nice size, he is all of a piece, everything fits, gleaming flat silky coat completes the picture. 2 Negus' Shardaroba Rigel By Tarramist. Larger dog, different in type to winner, won his place here with his sound, solid, excellent construction throughout, head and eye pleased as did topline and strong quarters, moved with a strong even gait, correct fore and aft. 3 Roberts' Swansford Lyrenstan Picasso. MPB (4) 1 Dare's Darsems Angelina. I loved this classy girl for a most beautiful head and eye, her construction was as it should be at this age, all over good, as was her composed and steady movement. 2 Burke & Manston's Loggeta Tranquility. This puppy also shows promise for the future, her construction is good as is head and eye, a roly poly baby who needs to slim a little as this affected her movement. 3 Chapman's Designer Print. PB (2) 1 Rawson's Owlery Jenny Wren At Rosenket. Still rather raw puppy, yet her construction is exceptionally good, her front assembly is very good as is shoulder layback, loved her head, very beguiling expression, has well angulated quarters with good tail set, her outline is impeccable as is her stance, very correct flat silky coat, the type which is slow to grow and a joy to have - no waves here! Needs to co-operate with handler on the move. 2 Callow's Metadale Miranda. Clear red, make and shape good, loved her head and expression, a roly poly girl whose weight affected her topline and movement. JB (5, 2) 1 Dare's Darsoms Zensation. Quality red girl who impressed with elegance in head and eye and very good in body proportions with well let down quarters, stylish on the move, outline kept, movement good fore and aft. 2 Mitchell's Bronia Dream Legacy. Another stylish girl of quality, above remarks apply, lost out to winner on rather close hind action. 3 Jordon's Resurgam Lady Gray. NB (4) 1 Rawson's Owlery Jenny Wren At Rosenket. 2 Jordon's Resurgam Lady Gray. Well marked silver dapple with lovely head, expression, front, topline, ribbing good, would like more hind angulation behind, moving rather close. 3 Kermode's Bronia Tutti Fruity. PGB (11) 1 Roberts' Swansford Philkadora. This very beautiful bitch came into the ring and went round with the speed of light (handler as well), having slowed both down, I saw how correct her movement was, both fore and aft, with a free stride. On the table I found her to be very well put together, in a smaller package, excellent body lines from super head to good quarters, beautiful coat presentation. 2 Negus' Tarramist Ophelia. This exhibitors dogs show a great consistency in type, scored in overall soundness and correct construction all through, strong hammy quarters, gave her drive from behind. 3 Mitchell's Brynalyn Fancy Free At Imrika. LB (11, 1) Strong class. 1 Dare's Loxbar Rubi Muri Darsoms. Bitch CC. My notes say excellent b/t teeming with quality and style, her super movement showed her super construction as she flowed round the ring, long, low with superb topline both stacked and on the move, free and correct movement, she reminded me of a black Rolls Royce. Table top examination showed a most classic head and expression, neck flowed into shoulders, has front, ribs well sprung and well back, top and underline good as were strong well let down quarters, she is a complete package. 2 Negus' Terramist Adonis Dream. Another who pleased me, albeit very different to winner. Hands on gave me a very well put together all through with a very steady, free movement at all times, her strong quarters gave her this, outline kept, sound as a bell, inbetween coats at present. 3 Mitchell's Bronia Devil Woman. OB (4) 1 Geeson's Abydachs Hot Summer Nights. Res BCC. 2 Dare's Fragglerock Rosy Martine At Darsoms. 3 Johnson's Bitter Sweet At African Dawns. These bitches differed in type but all were excellent in body construction, heads were all good in proportion to size and shape, all had firm toplines and clean, stylish lines, presentation was, as is the norm in Longhaired, excellent. All were sound and movement good. Was splitting hairs. First won with her very fluid movement, almost leisurely, yet covering the ground with ease.
