PD (2) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Absolute, absolutely stunning 8 months clear red with the best of bone & super outline which he kept at all times, charismatic expression & masculine head set on reachy neck with well laid shoulders, quite a rarity today. Settled well & moved progressively better through to the challenge. Could not be denied BP, CC & BOB. BPIS; 2 Furneaux’s Bokra Mikado, sound but more immature clear red with lovely shoulders & length of ribbing, not as settled behind or the hind angulation of the 1. Must do well with maturity. JD (2) 1 Dare’s Darsoms Zyjack, masculine shaded/r with super substance, great style & moved with panache, excellent length of ribbing & hind angulation. Rather over angulated in shoulder for me & would prefer more pro-sternum. BD (1) 1 Brearley’s Metadale Major Impact on Xanadax, elegant shaded/r with lovely head & forechest, well handled to promote his good points, moving close fore & aft today. PGD (4) 1 Mitchell’s Darsoms Zebedee at Imrika, shaded/r with character & the best movement in the class, especially at the rear. Only needs to mature on & needs a firm hand to give of his best; 2 Metadale Major Decision at Xanadax. LD (7) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Kaballah, masculine & mature b/t in very full coat, showing strong head & well angulated shoulders, best movement in class with true movement both fore & aft, beautifully handled; 2 Dare’s Africandawns Night Kisses at Darsoms, different type, elegant b/t, smaller all through than 1. Rather too feminine in head for me. Well coated & movement with drive; 3 Marks’ Brynalyn Royal Warrior via Labbadax. OD(9) Very varied class with some showy dogs but unfortunately also some major construction faults. 1 Burke’s & Manston’s Loggeta Duke Of Marmalade, not the showiest in the class but a very sound clear red boy. Well balanced head on elegant neck set on well laid shoulders; well proportioned through with the best angulated hindquarters, moving steadily & truly both ways to win RCC; 2 McLennan’s Bronia Judas Kiss at Cheguevar, lovely animated shaded/r I have admired from the ringside, beautifully handled with super bone & feet; excellent movement with drive. Losing out in shoulder angulation to t1; 3 Nightingale’s Swansford Gryffindor at Rodima. V (2) 1 Geeson’s Ch Abydachs Oh What A Night, difficult to believe he is now a veteran, super shaded/r I have long admired & in beautiful coat & condition, excellent fore angulation with good length of ribbing, musculature & fabulous ring presence. BV; 2 Garlick’s Charmed Camellia at Ranglewood, lovely shaded/r, sound all through with correct angulation fore & aft, moved with pace & drive.
PB (3) 1 Roberts’ Swansford Emritadora, smaller built clear red with good proportions all through, lovely head, neck & shoulder angulation, truest of movement & balanced stacked & moving; 2 Mitchell’s Bronia Aphrodite, larger type b/t, litter sister to Absolute, well coated for age with feminine head, reachy neck & good length of ribbing. Losing out on fore & aft movement to 1; 3 Surrell’s Bokra Masquerade. JB (3) 1 Burke’s & Manston’s Bonavoir Independence, the first of 3 similar type bitches & the most mature, pretty clear red with good pro-sternum, well laid shoulders & correct length of ribbing, moved with drive & truly both ways; 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Idesia, smart b/t with lovely outline standing & on the move. Not as well off for bone or forechest as 1; 3 Mitchell’s Bronia American Liberty at Imrika. BB (1) 1 Bosanquet’s The Dark Dutchess, pretty b/t with feminine head on elegant neck, good spring & length of ribbing, moving freely & with drive. Would prefer better angulated shoulders & handler needs to be firmer with her. PGB (5) 1 Nightingale’s Franzirose Mystical Shadow at Rodima, so sound feminine & elegant clear red with flowing outline & movement, well coated & with lovely body proportions, excellent bone & with best of shoulder & hind angulation, the more I saw of her the more I liked. CC; 2 Mitchell’s Bronia American Beauty, smart clear red waiting for her coat to come in, so nothing to hide. Excellent forechest, head & neck. Losing out to 1 on fore & hind movement; 3 Dunbar’s & McNaughton’s Bronia Velveteen. LB (3) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Sorceress, first of 2 similar bitches & the more substantial, lovely neck & shoulder angulation with correct pro-sternum, flowed around the ring keeping lovely outline at all times. RCC; 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Heliotrope, pretty girl close up to 1, well angulated forequarters & good length of ribbing. Not quite the strength in hindquarters as 1; 3 Chapman’s Darsoms Ziana at Melminds. OB (7) 1 McFaul’s Ir Ch Dachville Special Blend, the first of 3 similar bitches, preferred her head to the others, very elegant all through & in lovely bloom, flowing movement with drive & true both fore & aft; 2 Garlick’s Ch Ranglewood Genista, lovely b/t with the best of bone & shoulder angulation, length of ribbing & correctly angulated hindquarters. Very close decision; 3 McNaughton’s Ch Cedavoch Mystique.
