d your support for the Boston Show. I had a really
enjoyable day, despite a late start and the previous breed leaving their food on
the Carpet, which I noticed, so I made allowances for. I was pleased with the
general turnout of dogs, I was a little disappointed with the lack of muscle
tone on the adults as they are not weighed, so the fitness should be paramount
for all standards in the Dachshund breed. I was delighted with three Dachshunds
being placed in the Group and puppy Group.
PD 1 Mitchell's Bronia Larenzo. 9mth old puppy, Overall a well balanced
puppy with good bone and excellent proportions throughout, kept his topline on
the move was well turned out I found him a very pleasing to the eye, on the move
and to go over on the table. A pleasant and sound natured puppy. Went BP RBOB
Hound P Gp 4. 2 Johnson's Africandawns Night Hawk 9mth old puppy with good bone
and a strong head slightly more coat, than the first, did not quite hold the
topline on the move on occasions, good ribbing and length. Another well
presented and turned out dog.
JD 1 Johnson's Africandawns Rumour Rumble. 13mth old dog. A pleasing
head with good Almond shaped eyes and good pigmentation. Good shoulder
placement, just prefer a little more Ribbing. Held topline on the move, another
nicely presented dog, in good condition.
PGD 1 Hagan and Dorsuk's What a Corker. A well balanced and well
muscled fit dog, went with zest, Good strong jaw line with full dentation nicely
ribbed and good angulation held topline on the move looked as if he could go all
day. Carrying a bit too much coat but otherwise well presented and turned out. 2
Negus' Tekalhaus Licence to Kill with Tarramist. A 3 year old dog with correct
coat, good bone and nicely ribbed with good length good shaped feet, but
expected to feel and see more muscle tone for the age of dog.
OD 1 Marks' Brynal Royal Warrier Via Labbadax 3 year old dog with a
super head and good proportions throughout. Nicely ribbed, carried topline on
the move, looked and felt strong and fit, with well muscled quarters. Correct in
size, drove out on the move with enthusiasm, with correct coat in excellent
condition and presented well. Handler needs to believe in the dog. Went BoB. 2
Mitchell's Bronia Lotario. Three year old dog with good bone correct head and
almond eye. Correct and sound a slightly heavier dog all round in excellent
condition and well handled on the day, just preferred the first.
PB 1 Mitchell's Bronia Callista. 11mth old. A well balanced with a
feminine head, good reach of neck well ribbed, carried itself and maintained a
top line on the move. Neat feet overall a pleasing bitch well turned out with a
correct and not overly coated.
PGB 1 Johnson's Africandawns Night Dreamer A two year old bitch compact
with a feminine head with correct Almond Eyes, and good pigmentation slightly
shorter in reach of neck, good ribbing, on the move showed herself balanced and
with a good top line. BB. 2 Negus' Tarramist A New Hope A three year old
slighter bitch in size and bone than the first, with correct Eye good reach of
neck but would prefer more toned muscle on quarters top line not quite kept on
the move at times.
OB 1 Marks' Laraine Summertime lady at Labbadax Well presented good
feminine head well placed ears with a good reach of neck, good shoulder
placement compact shaped feet, correct coat in good condition, well toned
muscle, with a good top line throughout on the move would like to see slightly
more angulation would give just that bit more drive from behind. 2 Clarke's
Tekalhaus Octopussy, compact bitch, with a feminine head and correct placement
of ears good reach of neck, and shoulder placement kept the top line on the move
would like to see more flag in the tail.
