CEDARVOCH BEWITCHED
Dogs Thank you for asking me to
judge at this lovely show. The venue and hospitality were excellent and the
committee did a very good job. Thanks also to the exhibotors for brining their
lovely hounds for me to judge. Overall I found the dogs in good condition and
most were well prepared with beautiful coats. Heads were mostly good, teeth
clean and feet were excellent and well trimmed. I was trying to select the
shorter more compact hounds who could move correctly and was really pleased
with the line up for the challenge, when they came into the ring and also with
my Veteran winner who later went RBIS. My CC, BOB and BP winner I felt was
outstanding and he went on to BIS. MP. (3). 1. Boyle's,
Zarcrest Hugo Boss. Red. Quality baby with good head and reach of neck. Well
constructed shoulders leading to excellent ribbing and sound quarters on the
back. Correct outline on the move and as he went around he drove well. Just
needs to tighten a little on the front as he matures and should be very
promising. 2. Marks', Labbadax Beaumentia. Red. Nice puppy with good head, but
not quite the front construction of winner. Will be interesting to see how he
matures. Would also prefer a stronger topline but again could improve with
maturity. Moved well around the ring. 3. Wren's, Zarcrest Calvin Klein Betwixt
Thebalicious. P. (5). 1. Mitchell's, Bronia Larenzo. This dog
has everything I was looking for and had great presence in the ring. Bost of
heads with good expression with well laid shoulders and correct ribbing. He was
correctly angulated at both ends, yet compact in his overall length. He was
true coming and going. Held his outline well at all times. Drove around the
ring. To complete the picture he had a fabulous coat is shades of gold and I
was pleased to award him the CC and BP and together with my co judge he later
was BIS and BPIS. 2. Cooper, Steadman and Hendren's, Darsoms Zethro. Red. This
was a lovely puppy who needed t lose some weight. Quality all through with good
ribbing and shoulder placement. Moved a little close coming towards, but felt
he should mature well. 3. Pankhurst and Marsh's, Marshwick Black Boots.
J. (3). 1. Johnson's, Africandawns Rumour Rumble. Well balanced red dog
with good head. Nice layback of shoulder and good ribbing. Had nicely angulated
quarters and stepped out well and had a super outline when his tail was down.
Looked nice in the challenge. 2. Woods', Rogermardax Jack Spratt. This puppy
was much more settled in this class but a little more training would enable him
to show himself off and have more confidence, enabling the judge to assess his
movement properly. 3. Morris's, Swansford Eminentador. N. (2).
1. Johnson's, Africandawns Night Hawk. Nice s/red. Lovely head and overall
outline. Just not as much forechest as I would prefer but has time to mature.
Moved really well and drove around nicely. 2. Cooper, Steadman and Hendren's,
Darsoms Zethro. PG. (6,1). 1. Duchesne's, Darsoma Zane of
Scandell. Another quality balanced dog with good overall classical shape.
Correct shoulders and nicely ribbed. Good head and reach of neck. Moved easily
around the ring with lovely topline and outline at all times. 2. Negus's,
Tecklehaus Licence to Kill with Tarramist. Red. Similar in type to winner, just
not quite the angulation on the hocks but good front and well ribbed. Moved
well. 3. Booth and Elsley's, Abbalongdat the Visitor. L. (8).
1. Marks', Bryn Alyn Royal Warrier via Labbadax. S/r. Lovely head and reach of
neck. Correct front and ribbing and good angulation on the back end. Strode out
well on the move, maintaing a good topline. 2. Hutton's, Rolo Rascal over
Dachalune. Nicely constructed quality dog. Just not the hindquarters of winner.
Moved well, good coat. 3. Yennan's, Bronia Judas Kiss at Cheguevar. O.
(3). 1. Mitchell's, Ch. Bronia Lotario. S/r super dog. Lovely head. Good reach
of neck and correct fornt and shoulder placement. Ribbing excellent and his
movement was balanced as he kept his lovely outline at all times. A lovely
specimen of this breed and in immaculate condition. RCC. 2. Dares', Darsoms Zyjack.
Well constructed hound and beautiful to go over with everything in the right
place. Would just like him a little smaller, if I could choose but he is so
lovely and so sound that he should do well. 3. Negus Tarramist Adonis Dream.
SpO BLACK/TAN (4). 1. McNaughton's, Cedavoch Kaballah. Lovely
quality type and size. Correctly assembled on both front end and back quarters.
Lovely head and beautiful coat. Moved truly. Good outline, stood out in this
class. 2. Hutton's, River Rumpus Through Dachalune. Quality b/tan who moved out
well. Good construction on the front end but not the hind angulation of winner
on back, but a nice dog. 3. Sutton's, Damai Master Benedict. SpO AOC
(3). This was a difficult decision between frirst and second. 1. Dare's, Ch.
Bronia Salvador of Darsoms. S/r super quality dog. Well deserved Champion who
was correctly assembled throughout. Moved superbly not putting a foot wrong and
looked a picture on the move. 2. Mitchell's, Ch. Bronia Absolute. S/r. Same
comments as winner apply. Another top quality hound who was lovely to go over.
Nothing to choose between them really so in the end I chose winner because it
was a little more compact and a little shorter in length. 3. Dunbar's, Bronia
Fernando. V. (5). 1. McNaughtons', Ch. Cedavoch Bewitched. 8
years old s/r. This lovely bitch has classic lines with correct construction
all through. She was in perfect condition and showed beautifully and went on to
a well deserved BV overall and RBIS 2. Booth and Isleys', Ch. Darsoms Zarrival
with Abbalongdat. Another lovely bitch aged 9 years who was well put together
and who moved well and shown in lovely condition. Just not tht topline of
winner but very nice. 3. Sutton's, Damai Master Benedict. MINIATURE
LONG HAIRED V. (6,3). 1. Burge and Rossiters', Rafthouse Rainbows End
at Creekpit. 7 year old quality b/tan. Correctly assembled on the front and
back, looking a picture on the move. 2. Jamieson's, C/Ir Ch. Djeata Riven
Within the Ring. 10 year old quality b/tan. Correctly assembled all through.
Moved well but not as tight in elbow as winner and not the topline but enjoyed
his day. 3. Earley's, Yelva Lady Wilhelmina to Warway.

this well run show which was very friendly and had drawn a good overall entry.
My Co-Judge Mrs Sue Roberts and I agreed on the lovely male Bronia Larenzo for
BP & BOB, he then went onto become BIS & BPIS, well done. MP
