I thank exhibitors for waiting so long for a free ring for me to judge your lovely dogs. Some good exhibits to go over all in good condition & most presented beautifully on such a cold & windy day.
PD (1) 1 Duchesne’s Bronia Priam of Scandell, 10 months red, soundly made, well angulated hindquarters, in good coat. Would like to see a longer neck. Moved out well, lost topline on the move. Gentle expression, hound head. BP. JD (0). PG (3) 1 Roberts’ Swanford Warrador, impressive boy in abundant coat, very masculine head, full of life, moved well when settled down, good spring of rib, well placed shoulders, gentle expression, nice outline, super quarters. RBD; 2 Pankhurst & Marshwick’s Black Boots, another nice dog, very elegant, nothing overdone, different type to 1, nice length, moved well, made full use of the ring, well handled & presented. OD (8) 1 Boyle’s Ch Zarcrest Hugo Boss, very eyecatching dog, conical head, reachy neck, excellent forechest, keel & shoulders, well balanced hindquarters, moved enthusiastically keeping topline at all times, lovely outline, in gleaming condition. BOB; 2 Duchesne’s Darsoms Zane of Scandell, another sound dog, in good coat & condition conceal head & dark eye, lovely expression, nice reach of neck, well placed shoulders, moved well, looked a picture stacked. Unlucky to come up against 1; 3 Pankhust’s Marshwick Cloudy Morning at Danward.
PB (0). JB (1) 1 Cheese’s Desdemona, b/t, not cooperating with handler, don’t think the windy weather helped, difficult to assess her as movement erratic. Unfortunately couldn’t go over her properly but couldn’t see any obvious faults. PGB (4) 1 Sutton’s Lillymai Flower by Dami, liked this bitch very much, well balanced & graceful, good forechest & rounded rump, moved enthusiastically, sweet feminine head; 2 Bradley’s Marshwick Spring Serende, red, sweet head & full chest, nicely sprung ribs, angulated quarters, moved well in tune with her handler. Lost her topline a little; 3 Marsh’s Marshwick Dancing Queen. OB (4) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Summer Wine, what a elegant lady, wish she were mine, so glamorous, stunning outline, typical feminine head, long graceful neck, well placed shoulders, oval forechest, sound quarters, nothing overdone, correct size, moved so well, pushed hard for BOB, could change places another day. BB; 2 Roberts’ Swansford Whoopdora, litter sister to my RBD, very similar but feminine, very pleasing to go over, tight elbows, super ribs & quarters used well on the move, strong bone, just loved the elegance of one. RBB.
