I was delighted to hear that my BOB
and my BP both won their respective group. The puppy also won a very strong
Junior class with l56 entries. Unfortunately he could not return for the final
day. A pity. There was a lovely entry of 56 dogs. Quality was high especially
in Limit and Open both in dogs and bitches. Presentation was high all through.
Most had clean teeth. Only two a little shy. Movement in profile was good with
decent drive from the rear. One or two tummy tapping which of course gives no
drive at all as the legs do not extend. Both sizes of Long are difficult to
assess for rear movement as the furnishings cover the legs. In my final class
awards all the dogs were asked to move away and back first. So many were really
close both ends and a number down on their fronts. This was the deciding factor
in the higher classes especially. I feel that a lack of correct road exercise
causes this fault in this instance. Limit and Open in both sexes were full of
quality. Very close decisions.
PD (4,l) 1 Mitchell Bronia Mr Pepys. RCC.BP. PG.l. Gorgeous red boy.
Taking all before him at the moment. Not too big or long as many are. Arrogant
head carriage with that snooty look I love. Correct angulation front and rear.
Lengthy neck. Good ribbing. Moved with free driving action. Loved him. Well
done. 2 Johnson Africadawns Night Gardian. Shaded red, also nice size. Well
constructed and sound. Not quite the classic head of l but only 9 mths and
could mature yet. Carrying some puppy fat still. Maturity will solve this I am
sure. Happy mover. 3 Cook & Rhodes.
JD (2,1) l Johnson Africadawns Larry's Legacy. Typy shaded
red. Lovely size and construction. Well developed front and ribbing. Really
drives out on moving. Correct width going away and coming to me. Carrying some
puppy fat at the moment but this will go as he matures.
PGD (l) l Wren Zarcrest Calvin Klein Betwixt Thebalicious.Very
masculine shaded red in lovely bloom. Very nice head and eye. Really drives out
when on the move. Another correct width throughout. I see he is the brother of
my CC winner Would wish a little more angulations of rear, but a worthy winner.
LD (9) l Lewis Bronia Chaos At Trixhund. Another from the Bronia
stable. Beautiful rich red in lovely bloom. Masculine head and outlook. Very
well constructed throughout. Good driving action and kept his outline at all
times. Quality boy. 2 Roberts Swansford Warrador. So close to the winner in all
aspects. Correct head and eye. Correct shoulders, front and ribbing. Not as
settled on the move as the winner today for some reason. Two nice dogs. This
was a high quality class down the line. 3 Hutton River Rumpus Through
Dachalune.
OD (8) l Boyle Ch. Zarcrest Hugo Boss. CC. BOB. HG l. I have admired
this dog from when he was a baby. The most stunning rich red coat of correct
texture and length. When he enters the ring his quality stands out. All top
dogs in every breed have that something that other excellent specimen's lack,
even though they show well. Lovely bone all through. Good feet. Size is
correct. His head has that length that many lack. Super expression. Moved so
soundly with style and drive. Beautiful. 2 Hutton Rollo Rascal Over Dachalune.
Beautifully presented as all from this kennel. Well developed front and length
of ribbing. Elegant neck leading into good shoulders. Strong qtrs. Moved really
well. This was another very hot class. 3 Johnson Africadawns Rumour Rumble.
PB (2) Very immature babies here. Pity no MP class. L - Cook & Rhodes.
Ruby Empress. Drk.red baby. Not yet got her coat. Nicely constructed but needs
to mature as you would expect. Beautiful head and elegant neckline. Moves
freely but just at the moment is close behind. Hopefully this will improve as
she muscles up. 2 Metcalfe-Bilgin. Roly poly baby. Light red. She is carrying
quite a lot of puppy fat at the moment so difficult to assess for shape. A gain
maturity will correct this. Moved happily and soundly.
JB (2) l Mitchell Bronia Diorella. Very typy, feminine light red.
Pleasing head, Good conformation all through. Kept a good outline standing and
moving. Just toeing in a little behind at the moment. 2 Garlick Ranglewood May
Blosom. Drk.shaded red. A little short of coat at the moment which does not
hide anything of her construction, which is good. She was also toeing in a
shade behind today. Otherwise moved freely.
PGB (6) l Garlick Ranglewood Justica. V very nice blk\ tan. Well
developed front and ribbing. Good bone feet and well angulated fore and aft.
Moved keeping a good topline. Toeing in slightly. 2 Booth & Elsley. Abbalongdat
Ms Marionette. Very elegant red bitch. Pretty head. Good length of neck leading
in decent shoulders. A shade long on loin, and her movement is a little narrow
front and rear. Good drive from hindquarters. 3 Dimon Dimerlin Isolde.
LB (9) Super quality class. 1 Dunbar & Mcnaughton. Bronia Velveteen.
Quality blk\ tan with a flat gleaming coat.Carries herself with such style.
Very feminine head, correct size and shape of eye. Elegant lengthy neck and
super shoulders. So sound moving freely at all times. Good width going away and
coming to me. Wish I had more CC`s today. Close upto RCC. Winner. 2 Roberts
Swansford Whoopydora. Very typy red in lovely condition. Similar remarks apply
as for l. Looked stunning standing and moving. A shade close behind today, but
a lovely girl. 3 Mitchell Africadawns Lilley`s Legacy.
OB (9) Wow what a class, lovely girls down the line. L - Geeson - CC
Abydachs Summer Wine. Gave this girl's mother her 3rd CC a few years ago. She
is so similar. Beautiful red winning her 4th CC I believe. Very feminine all
through. Excellent front. Good bone and feet Well angulated front and rear.
Very free fluid mover. Again as with all my top winners good width throughou.
Lovely. 2 McFaul RCC. The dogs from this kennel are always beautifully
presented. IrishCh.Dachville Classical Blend. Gleaming blk/tan lady. Moves so
soundly with style. Excellent mover going and coming to me. Just pipped the
limit winner for the RCC by having a shade more ground clearance. 3 Marks
Labbadax Belladonna.
V (5) 1 McNaughto CH. Cedavoch. Bewitched. 9 yrs lady and really
doesn't look it. Red gleaming coat. Excellent conformation throughout. Can show
the youngsters how to move. Good teeth. A very worthy Champion. 2 Hutton Owlery
Majestic Of Dachalune. SH.CM. Very masculine red in lovely condition. His
construction correct throughout. Carries himself well and is sound although he
was being a bit naughty moving today. 3 Garlick Charmed Camellia At Ranglewood.
