:I enjoyed judging this variety. One negative aspect for me was heads, there were a lot of long narrow heads as opposed to conical as the standard calls for. PD (3) 1 McNaughton's Cedavoch Under A Spell, nice baby, I hope he's done all of his growing. Balanced head and good eye, well placed shoulders, well ribbed & good rear, moved out with style. 2 Negus's Tarramist Dom Perignon, different type to 1, more up on the leg, well made front & good body, not quite the rear of the winner. Moved well. 3 Hughes's Dachsarah Roust About. JD (4) 1 Mitchell's Ch Bronia My Pepys, super young dog, with lots of attitude, which didn't always help his handler! Lovely head & eye, good front & ribbing, good angulation at the rear. Liked his ground clearance. Moved as though he owned the ring. He really got his act together in the challenge to take the CC. 2 Chapman's Melminds Zsylvester, liked his balance & movement. 3 Metcalfe-Bilgin's Metadale Mourinho. PGD (7,1a) 1 Metcalfe-Bilgin's Metadale Maluda, Liked his type, not a bad head, good front & ribbing, well made rear. Once he settled into his stride he went well. 2 Bedford's Africandawns Larry's Legacy, head ok, balanced front & rear, moved well. Coat could do with a little more attention. 3 Chappell's Gleneddee Liquroice Dream. LD (6) 1 Johnson's Africandawns Rumor Rumble, lovely dog with flowing lines, good head & eye, super neck & well placed shoulders. Good ribbing & well made rear, moved out really well & pushed hard in the challenge. 2 Dare & Guy's Melminds Zitanic At Darsoms, nice type, not quite the front of 1, but liked his overall make & shape. Moved well. 3 Wood's Rogermardax Jack Spratt. OD (7,1a) 1 Mitchell's Ch Bronia Lotario JW, lovely dog, masculine head, good eye & strong powerful jaw. Well placed shoulders, good legs & feet, well made rear & moved out soundly. Not so settled in the challenge as he had a change of handler RCC. 2 Dare Zarcrest Paco Rabanne At Darsoms, another quality dog, masculine head, good legs & feet, not quite the front of 1, good ribbing & rear, moved out well. 3 Johnson & Mitchell's Africandawns Night Hawk. VD (2) 1 Sutton's Damai Master Benedict Sh CM, lovely well balanced old boy, good head & moved well. BV. 2 Chappell's Roijuls Liquroice Lover At Gleneddee, another nice oldie. SPD/B (3) 1 Wood's Rogermardax Jack Spratt, nicely balanced & moved ok. 2 Dimon's Dimerlin Isolde, rather narrow all through, but moved ok. 3 Hughes's Dachslur Velvet Ribbon. MPB (2) 1 Geeson's Abydachs Vision Of The Night, lovely baby, good head & eye, liked her angles fore & aft. Moved out so well for her age. BP. 2 Garlick's Ranglewood Diamond Heist, not quite as together as 1 at the moment. PB (3) 1 Negus's Tarramist Krug Rose, nice make & shape, good front & rear, held her outline & moved out well. 2 McNaughton's Cedavoch Kismet, not quite the head of 1, didn't want to co-operate today as she kept sinking at the rear. 3 Hughes's Dachsarah Scarlet Ohara. JB (2) 1 Metcalfe-Bilgin's Metadale Manane, loved her! Super head & flowing lines with good angles & great body. Held herself with confidence at all times & moved out freely.CC & BOB. 2 Weston's Gleneddee Liquroice Diva, head ok, a bit over muscled at the front, well made rear. PGB (10) 1Metcalfe-Bilgin's Metdale Midsummer Dream, stood out in this class, lovely type, well made & good mover. 2 Chapman's Melminds Miss Dior, good make & shape, would prefer a stronger head, moved well. 3 Clarke's Tekalhaus Octopussy. LB (11,2a) The first 2 stood out in this class for type & soundness. 1 Dare's Darsoms Zshona, lovely balanced outline, good legs & feet, well made front & rear & moved out so well.RCC. 2 Mitchell's Africandawns Lilly's Legacy At Bronia, similar remarks to 1, just lacked a bit in head for me. 3 Burke & Manston's Bonavoir Serenity. OB (8,2a) 1 Dare's Darsoms Zolene, see she is the litter sister to the LB winner & the same remarks apply. 2 Mitchell's Callista, liked her type good strong muzzle, not quite the front of 1, well made body & rear, moved well. 3 Geeson's Ch Abydachs Summer Wine. VB (1) 1 McNaughton's Ch Cedavoch Bewitched, lovely girl who moved out well, just starting to show her age.
