PD (3) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Mr Pepys, 10 months red of high quality, beautiful head, kind expression, well developed keel, well balanced body with flawless topline & good length of ribcage. Moves steadily, dead true up & down, in beautiful coat & condition. A typical Dachshund free of exaggeration & full of quality, won his first CC & BOB; 2 Cook & Rhodes’ Bournder Regency Malachite, 11 months b/t with longer, more exaggerated head & shorter ribcage than 1 & not quite as settled in coat. Moved with style holding himself proudly & using his tail well; 3 Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Metadale Mourinho. JD (1) 1 Harrison & Cook’s Bronia Kingpin, 13 months red, essentially, masculine, balanced head which could be a little better moulded in foreface, well filled front, strong bone, rather short ribcage, moves steadily up & down & holds his outline well. LD (3) 1 Lewis’ Bronia Chaos at Trixhund, high quality red with beautiful head & expression, pleasing overall balance & in lovely bloom. Well boned & bodied, moves true up & down. Not quite as well coupled as the puppy but well deserved the RCC & could easily make up; 2 Hutton’s River Rumpus Through Dachalune, b/t who has excellent carriage, well proportioned outline & is soundly constructed. Sound & stylish mover. Not quite the expression of 1 but pushed hard; 3 McLennan’s Bronia Judas Kiss at Cheguevar. OD (5) 1 Mitchell’s Ch Bronia Lotario, stylish red with balanced head & forehand, balanced outline, could stand more firmly on his hocks but moving he holds himself together well; 2 Hutton’s Rolo Rascal over Dachalune, another quality red with great presence & style, balanced head, stands well on his legs, rather short in ribcage & long coupled; 3 Cook & Rhodes’ Abydachs Rides The Storm to Bournder.
PB (3) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Diorella, 11 months red whose size & shape really impressed. Feminine head, nicely boned & ribbed, needs to firm up behind on the table but still she moved true with great style & was very light on her feet. RCC; 2 Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Metadale Manane, 8 months red with lovely head & eye just out a rather beefier mould than 1 & could lose a pound or two to advantage. Moves soundly, just needs to settle into her rear; 3 Cook & Rhodes’ Bournder Ruby Empress. PGB (3) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Louanna at Imirika, beautifully balanced & utterly feminine red who moved with such style & buoyancy. Elegant head which would be even more appealing without the cow lick, good bone & rib & she stands well on her legs with firm topline. Her overall quality & presence took her through to her first CC; 2 Marks’ Labbadax Bletilla, slightly heavier framed red of good basic type, refined head, good bone & rib, a little longer coupled than 1 & could use her tail more enthusiastically; 3 Dimon’s Dimerlin Isolde. LB (5) 1 Paskins’ Abydachs Summer Dream at Kindeace, interesting red who on the table had very little amiss. Lovely to go over, so well constructed with beautiful head, stands rock steady on four good legs & moves accordingly. Just not quite the carriage of the CC & RCC winners but close up; 2 Lewis’ Bronia Sweet Amber at Trixhund, another red & her musculation was a revelation as her hindquarters were hard as iron, not quite the quality head if 1 but she is well boned & ribbed & moves with great style; 3 Mitchell’s Bronia Callista. OB (3) 1 McNaughton’s Ch Cedavoch Sorceress, quality red with feminine head, good basic construction but tends to stand rather weakly behind. Nonetheless makes the best of herself on the move, is well bodied & boned; 2 Mitchell’s Ch Bronia American Liberty at Imirika, another feminine red with not quite the head of 1 & a little less steady in front; 3 Dimon’s Laraine Truly Faye for Dimerlin.
