DACHSHUND - LONG HAIRED

A small entry but full of outstanding  quality. All exhibits shown in fabulous condition and all had gleaming white  teeth, a great credit to their owners.

PD/B (3) 1 and best puppy  Chapmans Melminds Zsylvester. Moved truly keeping his nice clean lines. Well  ribbed. Good front with tight feet. Slightly heavy in skull. 2 McNaughtons  Cedavoch under a spell. Built on heavier lines. Scores on his good legs and  feet, front and ribbing. Another free sound mover both ways . Only 6 months and  showed well for his age but whilst his top line was good on the move he was  pulling back standing. 3 Lumley Tarramist Tsarine.

JD (2) 1 Lindsay  Bronia Plutus. Red of nice size in fab. condition. Lovely head and expression.  Tidy legs and feet. Moved freely. 2 Cook and Rhodes Bourder Regency Malachite.  Larger dog with better length but not the free movement of winner. Well ribbed.  Again nice head.

L (2) 1 Wren Zarcrest Calvinklein Betwixt hebalicious.  Glorious head and expression with lovely ear set. Scored here with his good  fore chest and well laid shoulders. Nice legs and feet. Well ribbed. Kept his lines  at all times. Fab coat and condition. 2 Lewis Bronia Chaos at Trixhund ShCM.  Again shown in great coat. Nice head and expression. Good legs and feet. Sound  mover both ways.

O (5) Very strong class. 1 and CC Mitchell Ch Bronia  Lotario JW Whilst he is a glamour boy he is also a really well made Dachshund  of nice size. Before I went over him on the table thought he was showing his  elbows but it was just the profuse paler hair on his legs and he had in fact  excellent front legs with really tight elbows. Well ribbed. Strong top line and  powerful quarters. True, powerful movement. 2 and res CC Clarke Aust Ch  Laurieton his masters voice by Teckalhaus shcm Imp Aust. Really well balanced  red dog shown in a fabulous jacket. Lovely head and expression Excellent legs  and feet with plenty of forechest. Strong top and underline. Free mover. 3  Geeson Abydachs Kicks up a storm.

JB (4) 1 Cook and Rhodes Bourdner Ruby  Empress. Dark chestnut shown in fab. coat. Gorgeous head and expression. Strong  top line. Good legs and feet .Very sound powerful mover. Shown in hard  condition. Liked her a lot. 2 McNaughton Cedavpch Kismet' Promising 6 month  Nice size. Sweet head set on strong neck with good front. Nice outline standing  and moving. She covers the ground but just needs to firm up behind. Garlick  Ranglewood May Blossom.

PG (2) 1 Garlick Ranglewood Justica. Lovely B/T  with a really snooty expression.Scored here with her fore chest and correct  front construction. Ribbing with width and depth. Sound mover. Glistening coat  of good texture. Again so well balanced. 2 Chapman Melminds Miss Dior. A red  bitch of nice size. Rather raw for her two years. Moved OK in profile.

L (5,1) 1 and CC and BOB Paskins Abydachs Summerdream at Kindace shCM. I judged  her earlier in the year at an all breeds open show and had no hesitation making  her best in show. Again I could find nothing to beat her. She is not flashy but  a real Dachshund with no exaggerations. Sweetest head and expression, strong  neck and text book front. Her movement is true and ground covering. She made me  smile every time I looked at her. Delighted to award her 2nd CC. 2 Clarke  Solo's Billion Dollar baby among Teckelhaus Imp Aust. Very elegant, lovely head  and neck, strong top line. She is well ribbed and has strong quarters. 3 Garlick  Ranglewood Idesia.

O (5,1) 1 and Res CC McNaughtons Ch Cedavoch  Sorceress. Another who ticked all my boxes and is just what I look for in a  Dachshund. Correct size. Scored in head and expression. Clear red with super  front, ribbing that had width and length. Scored here with the use of her  powerful quarters which she really uses. In the challenge just lacked the  sparkle of Summerdream. 2 Geeson Ch Abydachs Summerwine. Classy bitch with a  lovely profile standing and moving. Excellent coat and condition. Covers the  ground well. 3 Mitchell Bronia Callista
