I found that a few exhibits were lacking in substance when I put my hands on them even though stacked they looked great. Dirty teeth an issue. Very pleased with my winner, thank you.
PD (3,1a) 1 RBD & BP, Roberts’ Swansford Kestador, 10 month old red dog of excellent type, nice size, masculine head, good eye & ribbing, held his topline on the move & extended well round the ring; 2 Duchesne’s Darsoms Zifi of Scandell, another nice red dog, taller type to 1, made him look a little unbalanced on the move, stronger head, good ribbing & length of neck, just preferred type of 1. JD (0). PGD (4) 1 Pankhurst’s Marshwick Black Boots, masculine b/t dog, good bend of stifle, good hind angulation, lovely eye shape & head, well placed ears, just lacked drive in movement in challenge; 2 Duchesne’s Bronia Priam of Scandell, red dog, taller than 1, overall nice type, good shoulder placement & length of upper arm, not the movement of 1; 3 Alford’s Diddleydoo at Deeseedax. OD (7,1) 1 BD, Duchesne’s Darsoms Zane of Scandell, loved this one as soon as I saw him enter the ring, overlal balanced, elegant but masculine without exaggeration, excellent spring of rib, oval front, good keel, seemed to flow around the ring with such ease; 2 Boyle’s Ch Zarcrest Hugo Boss, very smart well turned out shaded red dog, houndy head, good angulation front & rear, moved well, just preferred 1 today; 3 Pankhurst’s Marshwick Cloudy Morning at Danward.
PB (1) 1 RBB, Eve’s Sundayshill Anastasia, shaded red bitch, difficult to assess movement because of pulling to the side, but she was constructed well all through, good length of rib, level topline, good size, found that her head was a little strong for me. JB (0). PGB (6) 1 Cheese’s Suecaseus Desdemona, long, low & level, quite elegant b/t bitch, nice size, moved well around the ring, has tight feet, would like a little more neck; 2 Marsh’s Marshwick Dancing Queen, smaller compact type girl, not quite the front of 1 & not in the mood for moving today, seemed reluctant, liked her feminine head, ear placement & size; 3 Eve’s Dachslur Mairl My Dream. OB (3) 1 BB & BOB, Roberts’ Swansford Whoopydora, found this girl outstanding, my ideal standard, elegant, feminine with good angulation, spring of rib, good feet, just flowed around the ring, worthy BOB, champion material for sure; 2 Sutton’s Lillymal Flower by Damal, super b/t, again very much my type, level, well angulated front & rear, moved with drive, not quite the pizzazz of 1 but on another day a winner; 3 Eve’s Dachslur Diamond Fancy Free at Sundayshill.
