DACHSHUND - LONG HAIRED
MPD(1)1 Metcalfe-Bilgin's
Metadale Moment Of Glory, a well bodied 7 month old who overall is very
attractive with well developed bone, body and in profuse
coat. He has an excellent head both in shape
and refinement. Pleasing construction in front and forequarters although needs
to tighten on from his puppy stage. Good angulations front and rear. Moved well
enough with typical puppy enthusiasm.
PD (5) 1 Roberts' Swansford Kestador, a super quality 9 month old who
is well boned and well grown and has very pleasing overall construction. Very
attractive head set on a good length strong neck and with his balance and
proportional length body presents an attractive side profile. Well made front,
body and firm hindquarters. Moved well and the best of this classes and other
puppies. Best Puppy in Breed. 2 Marks' Labbadax Early Eclipse, an attractive
well developed B/T 10 month old male who has a head and expression I like and he
has both quality in overall conformation and has an abundance of promise so
essential in a puppy. He is of the construction and shape that catches attention
and can be appreciated when handling. He is carrying enough body and weight
which tends to make him look heavy in movement. 3 Paskins' Bronia Mr Tod At
Kindeace At Kindeace.
JD (2,1) 1 McNaughton's Cedavoch Under A Spell, a well coated 14 month
well grown male who has a refined masculine shaped head and attractive
expression. True front with a very typical general appearance with pleasing
balance in angulations front and rear and good overall length. Ideal width all
through and when interested and alert tended to look good in profile but on
times tended to sink into himself. Moved well and true in front but a little
close behind.
PGD(2) 1 Fossett's Brysdax Second To None, very nicely constructed
shapely 2 year old red that is of the length and overall shape I like. Very nice
head and expression set on a neck of good length. Sound in front with pleasing
forechest and tight elbows. Well bodied with pleasing overall length with a firm
level top line. He has an attractive profile with the proportion and balance I
like. Moved truly in front with parallel width behind and the better mover of
this class. 2 Metcalfe's Metadale Maluda, a very attractive 19 month old well
coated male who is pleasing in side profile with good length of neck, good head
set and overall appearance. Well enough overall construction and of the make and
shape that can be appreciated. Would prefer more enthusiastic movement.
LD (2) 1 Bedford's Africandawns Larry's Legacy Of Dinkiduolor, a
substantial 2 year old male who has a heavy look and is one that is better to go
over than his side profile portrays. He is carrying more than enough weight and
will be the better with less body substance. On examination he is well made in
front, has a good length body with spring and is ribbed well back and
hindquarters are well angled and firm in stance. Moved Ok but lacked an easy
free action. 2 Brearley's Metadale Major Impact On Xanadax, another who is
carrying more than enough body which not only affects his look but affects his
movement. Pleasing enough in head both shape and expression and is well boned
and satisfactory in construction. He has good
coat condition.
OD (5,1)1 A super class of top quality males 1 Mitchell's Ch Bronia Mr
Pepys, an excellent attractive 22 month old red male who is in prime
coat and condition and having super quality
classic lines. He has breed qualities in abundance and has a super impressive
head being correct in length and not too broad with ideal front and side profile
and a desirable expression. He has noble head carriage when on the move. Good
length strong neck which is elegant and of correct length. Soundly constructed
in front, firm substance in body with correct profile in top line and strong
well angled hindquarters. Moved soundly with confidence, precision and purpose.
My Dog CC and BOB winner. 2 Boyle's Ch Zarcrest Hugo Boss, another eye catching
top quality 2½ year old male who is prime shining coat and condition. Classic
head which is attractive and refined. He has balance in body with ideal
proportions height to length in side profile. Soundly made front, firm body and
strong correctly angulated hindquarters. He stands firm and stable portraying an
outline which is all in proportion. Moved out well with confidence but just
preferred rear width on the move of 1st. My Reserve Dog CC winner. 3 Mitchell's
Ch Bronia Lothario JW.
Vet D(2)1 Sutton's Damai Master Benedict SHCM, a 9 year old B/T male
who is well enough made having a pleasing front construction with tight elbows,
well bodied and nicely angled hindquarters of good width. The better mover of
this class. 2 Fossett's Melminds Method In Madness Via Brysdax, another 9 year
old in pleasing condition both in body and
coat. Attractive head and expression, pleasing
front, body and OK hindquarters. Not moving with enthusiasm or purpose.
MPB (3)1 Paskins' Kindeace Rita Ora, a very good looking 7 month old
red bitch who is well grown and developed in body and bone. Lovely head which is
refined with typical in features and attractive feminine qualities. She is true
in front with pleasing forequarters, good length of neck and overall body length
and cover. Moved out well and the better of this class. 2 Metcalfe-Bilgin's
Metadale Moment Of Pleasure, a 9 month old red who is another very nice quality
youngster. She has an excellent side profile which is of good length and has
balance front/rear. Plenty of promise and has to date grown on well with ideal
bone and body cover which is the right basis for her future development. She is
true enough in front and rear with good width all through. Moved OK when
settled. 3 Nightingale's Rodima Megan Mayhem At Rodima
PB (3,1)1 Mitchell's Bronia Miss Moppet, a 10 month old who immediately
appeals in appearance and side profile. She has a body which looks right both in
length, height, top line and side outline. She has a very attractive head of
typical make and shape, set on to a firm neck of good length. She is well made
in front, body and hindquarters and moved the better of this class. 2 Johnson's
Darsoms Zedny With Africandawns, another nice quality youngster who is
attractive in general appearance with a head shape and expression that I liked.
She has an outline of balance and good proportions height/length and has good
coat length and texture. A typical puppy needing to firm up and tighten all
through both standing and on the move.
JB (1)1 Mcnaughton's Cedavoch Kismet, a super quality 15 month old red
bitch who has the superior look both standing and on the move. She has super
breed qualities all through. Typical and beautiful in head and expression, she
is well made in front and forequarters, neck of good length flowing to a firm
well coated body which has firm body cover. Super coat texture and condition.
Hindquarters are strong and have good angle and width and stand parallel. Moved
well in front with true extension but just preferred the rear movement of my CC
winner in the CC challenge. My Reserve Bitch CC winner.
PGB(3)1 Dimon's Dimerlin Isolde, a mature 5 year b/t who is in good
coat condition and soft texture She is attractive in head and is well enough
made in front with a nicely covered body of proportional length and good top
line; she has nothing in exaggeration but is all in proportion and is balanced
in angulations front and rear. Preferred her overall outline and balance to 2nd.
Moved out with a sound, free easy gait. 2 Ward's Bonavoir Isabella. Shapely 2
year old b/t who has a pleasing head shape and expression. She is well made in
fore chest and width and is ok in body length although well covered. Preferred
her top line and profile to 3rd. Needs to settle and have more enthusiasm on the
move. 3 Cheese's Suecaseus Desdemona
LB(5) 1 Burke & Manston's Bonavoir Serenity, a quality looking 2 year
old shining red who is in super coat and condition. She is of the construction
and shape I like, having an attractive side profile, which is in proportion and
balance. Typical in head shape and having an interesting intelligent expression.
She is true in front with good tight elbows and is nicely angled in hindquarters
which are of good width and stands parallel. She moved well and was the best
mover of this class. 2 Metcalfe-Bilgin's Metadale Manane, a 19 month old smart
red having many of the same attributes of 1st but just preferred
the head length and expression of 1st. Lovely
type overall, she has a pleasing fore chest and is true and sound enough in
front. She had good action and extension in front movement but was close and
would prefer more drive behind. 3 Dimon's Dimerlin Isolde .
OB (6,2) 1 Harris and Winchurch's Zarcrest Devil Wears Prada, a super
2½ year old who is an eye catching super coated quality top bitch in impressive
shining condition. Impressive quality and looks to be at
the top of her game. Beautiful and attractive
head shape and expression and she possesses many commendable breed qualities.
She is soundly constructed from front to rear and is particularly well made in
front and forequarters which edged her this class. She is all in proportion and
is balanced in angulations front and rear. Eye catching profile with a pleasing
height to length ratio. Moved with a free, accurate action in front but in the
challenge for BOB I preferred the rear width and drive of the Dog CC winner.
Pleased to award her a deserved Bitch CC. 2 Roberts' Swansford Whoopydora,
another bitch of creditable breed quality. Attractive in general appearance with
lovely head carriage and body profile. She also is pleasing in head shape and
expression and has a pleasing neck length and shape which flows to a firm nicely
covered body with a firm pleasing top line. Good construction in front and
forequarters with ideal width all through and well angulated hindquarters. Moved
well in front but preferred the more definite rear action of 1st. 3 Mark's Ch
Labbadax Belladonna.
