I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge at this prestigious show. Also my thanks to the exhibitors for entering some lovely quality dogs which I so enjoyed judging.

L/H – PD (2,1a) 1 Dare’s Darsoms Zyjoe, 11 months happy puppy, conical head, nice reach of neck, good front assembly with adequate ribbing. Firm topline maintained on the move, strong well constructed quarters, correct feet. Free sound mover, still carrying a residue puppy fat; 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Arashi, 9 months shaded red baby, slightly short head with correct eye & ear placement. Neat front, would have liked greater length of rib. Firm topline, sound quarters. Still very loose on the move & a little wide coming at the moment. JD (2,1) 1 Paskins’ Bronia Mr Tod at Kindeace, 16 months red, lovely conical head, good eye & ear placement. Nice reach of neck, prominent pro-sternum, slight short in upperarm but good length of ribbing. Firm topline, well-angulated quarters, moves true fore & aft. PGD (3,2) 1 Horn’s Darsoms Zotis, heavily coated shaded red, masculine head, dark eye. Strong neck, prominent pro-sternum, slightly short in upperarm, good ribbing & underline. Would have liked greater hind angulation; correct feet. Firm topline, free mover but a shade close behind. OD (6,2) What a quality class. I was spoilt for choice. 1 Dare & Guy’s Zarcrest Marc Jacobs at Darsoms, quality balanced dog with no exaggerations; lovely size, in perfect coat. Masculine conical head, correct eye & ear placement. Elegant reach of neck flowing into well placed shoulders. Tight elbows, prominent forechest, good depth & length of keel. Firm topline, wonderful turn of stifle with short well let-down hocks, correct feet. Such a free sound mover, covers the ground effortlessly. A joy to watch. BD, BOB & BIS; 2 Geeson’s Ch Kicks Up A Storm, another wonderfully constructed dog, with many of the attributes of 1; just preferred the overall size & balance of my winner. RBD.

PB (2) 1 Garlick’s Ranglewood Tempest, very promising 9 months shaded red. Feminine head, correctly shaped eye & ear placement. Long neck, good pro-sternum, well placed shoulders. Tight elbows, good ribbing. Well angulated rear, firm topline maintained on the move. Lovely balanced free movement for such a young puppy; loved her. BP; 2 Dare’s Swansford Nigelladora Darsoms, a 9 month red. Sweet head, good reach of neck, correct front assembly, sound quarters. Soft topline at the moment but is such a raw baby & is a carry a bit too much puppy fat. Somewhat hesitant on the move at the moment. JB (3) 1 Dare & Guy’s Darsoms Zindzi, 15 month red. Feminine head, nice reach of neck, well placed shoulder, adequate ribbing. Firm topline held on the move, strong rear - movement a bit loose at the moment; 2 Nightingale’s Whartona Megan Mayhem at Rodima, pleasant head, arched neck. Well placed shoulder but slightly short in upperarm. Firm topline when stacked but lost on the move. Would have liked more hind angulation. Moved freely. PGB (2 1) Garlick’s Ranglewood Diamond Heist, b/t, conical head, nice reach of neck, good front assembly, adequate ribbing. Firm topline, slightly long in loin, strong quarters. Moves rather close behind. LB (4) 1 Cook & Rhodes’ Bournder Ruby Empress, elegant shaded red in good coat. Long reachy neck flowing into correctly constructed shoulder, prominent pro-sternum, good depth & length of ribbing. Nice turn of stifle, shade long in hock, tight feet. Moves soundly but can get a little close behind at times. RBB; 2 Geeson’s Abydachs Vision Of The Night, this exuberant girl really gave her handler a hard time! Feminine conical head, good neck, correct front assembly, tight elbows. Adequate ribbing, firm topline. Sound quarters, in super coat, moves with verve. Difficult to assess movement as this girl just wouldn’t settle today. OB (1) Paskins’ Abydachs Summer Dream at Kindeace, honest, sound bitch with no exaggerations. Pleasing conical head, adequate reach of neck flowing into well place shoulder. Prominent forechest, good ribbing, tight elbows, short loin. Firm topline, well angulated rear with nice short hocks. Would have liked tighter feet but forgave this as movement was so true fore & aft. Well presented. BB.
