MPD (2,1a) 1 Hirst’s Ranglewood Lantana at Kejana, 6 months b/t with a lovely head, good mouth. He has good bone & substance & good feet. OK in rear angulation. A bit soft in topline at the moment & has a thick puppy coat. PD (4,1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch The Alchemist, beautiful puppy dog with a lovely head & eye, neck & good length of body. Good forehand with strong boned legs & good feet. In excellent coat & condition & moved very well for his age. A promising youngster BP; 2 Duchesne’s Darsoms Zamba of Scandell, another nice well boned pup of good size. Has a fair front & shoulders, good topline & rear angles Preferred the head & neck of winner; 3 Rodrigues’ Darsoms Zantor. PGD (3) 1 Negus’ Tarramist Iron Man, very nice shaded/r with a good head & neck, neck & shoulders, good forechest & firm topline. Was well angulated & nicely muscled in rear. Moved well; 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Arashi, another shaded/r with a nice head & eye, good bone for his size, nice fill in front & a good backline & well angulated rear. Moved well holding his topline; 3 Duchesne’s Darsoms Zifi of Scandell. LD (7) 1 Negus’ Tarramist Dom Perignon, red with a nice outline. Has a pleasing head, is a good size & has good ribbing & a well muscled rear. Front & rear construction were balanced & he moved freely while holding his topline; 2 McNaughton’s Telkel Rumor Has It, a very elegant & attractive male with a nice head, very good neck & topline. He is well boned & has a decent length of rib & nicely rounded rear. Moved OK behind, just a shade wide in front; 3 Lewis’ Trixhund Euphoria. OD (9,4) 1 Mitchell’s Ch Bronia Lotario, shaded/r with a beautiful head & expression, good front, bone & feet & an excellent topline which he maintained on the move. Nicely proportioned with good ground clearance & shown in super coat. Strode out well in profile & was true out & back. CC, BOB; 2 Roberts’ Swansford Warrador, is good for size & substance & has a very good forehand, good spring of rib & a well muscled rear. Moved with good reach & drive. Preferred the head of the winner. RCC; 3 Hutton’s River Rumpus through Dachalune.
MPB (3) 1 Garlick’s Ranglewood Laurel, pretty red with good bone, well developed forechest, good ribbing & quarters. Moved very well. Not overweight but a bit roly-poly on the day; 2 Negus’ Dachslur Diamond Desire at Tarramist, another well covered baby with a nice conical head, good forechest, bone & feet. OK in topline & coat but moving wide behind today; 3 Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Garthorne Going Home to Metadale. PB (4,1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Jadis, shaded/r with a nice feminine head but would prefer a stronger underjaw. She has a good length of neck, good bone, is well ribbed back & has good rear angulation. Presented well muscled & in gleaming condition. BPB; 2 Roberts’ Swansford Demidora, red bitch with a good eye & expression but has rather long pointed ears. Has a good neck & topline & was well angulated front & rear. Good mover; 3 Clarke’s Tekalhaus Million To One. JB (1) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Viva La Vida, beautiful young bitch with a lovely head, good neck & topline. She is well angulated but still needs to develop fully in body & coat which can be expected at her young age. Lovely type & holds a super outline when moving. RCC. PGB (4) 1 Garlick’s Ranglewood Tempest, red of good type with a lovely head & dark expressive eyes. Liked her reach of neck & proud head carriage, good bone & feet & good length of body. Well angulated in shoulders & rear & moved very well. CC; 2 Nightingale’s Whartona Mayhem Megan at Rodima, a red of heavier build. Ridge of hair on her face detracted from her expression. Has a good depth of chest although almost too much. Shown in good coat & was a bit close moving both front & rear; 3 Cheese’s Suecaseus Desdemona. LB (5) 1 Hutton’s Daamistico Destiny at Dachalune, very nice bitch with a lovely head, good neck & topline. Was well boned & had good feet. Good depth of chest & was well ribbed. Moved well in this class holding a good outline; 2 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Kismet, a very attractive shaded/r with a good head & dark eyes. Has good forehand construction, good neck & topline & a well muscled rear. Lost her topline when standing but moved well & held herself together going round. Just needed a bit more confidence; 3 Garlick’s Ranglewood Idesia. OB (6,2) A disappointing class. 1 Mitchell’s Bronia No Peeping, a very pretty bitch but who I would prefer to have more bone & substance. Has a lovely head, good topline & rear. She moved well behind but lacked forward reach. In good coat & condition & showing well; 2 Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Metadale Manane, nice for overall size & type. Head pleasing but could be a tad more refined. Has good bone for her size & good ribbing. Slightly flat in croup & tail carried too high today which spoiled her outline when moving; 3 Garlick’s Ranglewood Justica.
