Many thanks to the exhibitors for the wonderful presentation of their hounds, one or two little problems, too many with broad skulls, one or two with flat feet. I was very impressed with the overall movement of exhibits, this looks good for the future, well done.
V (3) 1 Dare’s Ch Bronia Salvador of Darsoms, red, strong male who commands attention, beautiful head & eye, great neck set into correct shoulders, perfect topline & keel, strong bone, presented in super coat, moved very well, he has now made his name as a stud dog; 2 Geeson & Geiser’s Am Ch Insights Captain Clutch, another excellent red, finer all through than winner, he has a super head & neck, cannot fault his conformation, can’t understand why I didn’t see more of his offspring today; 3 Garlick’s Ch Ranglewood Genista, b/t, beautiful bitch, super head, neck & front, moved very well, no disgrace placed 3rd, sired by one of my favourites. PD (1) A. JD (3) 1 Street & Toft’s Ranglewood Lawsonia, red, this boy has a lovely head & expression, good neck & front, nice feet, would have liked a better coat but that will come, moved well; 2 Horn’s Darsoms Zabbi, red, a bit heavy in head, he has a lovely eye & neck, strong body, moved well; 3 Hirst’s Ranglewood Lantana at Kejana. PGD (2) 1 Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Metadale Moment Of Glory, very smart red, loved his head with correct dark eye, excellent front & keel, good firm topline, moved very well; 2 Brearley’s Labbadax Eyecatchin Shadow at Xanadax, b/t, his head is OK with nice dark eye, he has a nice outline & moves well. LD (3) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch The Alchemist, very smart red, super head & dark eye, excellent neck set into perfect shoulders, enough keel, good bone & front, perfect topline, strong hindquarters, moves very well, should make it to the top with full maturity; 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Arashi, this red has a good head, neck & front, he has a very good outline, he moves well, would like him to show better; 3 Dare & Guy’s Darsoms Zimbro. OD (6) 1 Boyle’s Ch Zarcrest Hugo Boss, this shaded red is an excellent hound, super head, no sign of coarseness, his dark eye gives a true expression, his elegant neck set into perfect shoulder & front, super backend, moves to perfection, can’t understand how this boy doesn’t feature in the groups more often. CC & BOB; 2 Roberts’ Swansford Warrador, this boy is the perfect show man, the way he holds himself is fab, super head & eye, great neck & front, excellent topline, he won the RCC today, hope it’s not too long for the big one; 3 McNaughton’s Telkel Rumor Has It.
PB (3,1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Circe, what a beaut8iful puppy, she has a lovely hed with nice expression, her conformation is so correct, her coat is excellent for her age, moved very well. BP; 2 Paget & Carroll’s Bronia Aphroditge of Marvale, another very promising puppy, very sweet, nice head & outline, not as much coat as ‘Circe’, moved OK. JB (3) 1 Garlick’s Ranglewood Laurel, red of good quality, she has a lot going for her, she has a lovely head & neck, very good front & keel, good front & backend, looks good on the move; 2 Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Garthorne Going Home to Metadale, difficult to assess as she is out of coat, but she has a good head & topline, would like a better front, but in profile moved super; 3 Fossett’s Africandawns Night Lover for Brysdax. PGB (4,2) 1 Dare & Guy’s Darsoms Zangel, red bitch of quality, lovely head & neck, good front, nice keel, excellent topline, which she holds on the move, still only young & will mature into a top class hound; 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Idesia, b/t, nice bitch, not a stunner but a good honest hound, will always be thereabouts, moved well. LB (2) 1 Paskins’ Kindeace Rita Ora, red of top quality, she has a super head & dark eye giving desired expression, excellent neck, great front with perfect feet, strong topline, she is so well balanced, she holds herself well on the move which won her the RCC; 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Tempest, another quality exhibit, lovely head & eye, good front, correct keel, nice topline, strong hindquarters, in lovely coat & condition, moved well. OB (6,2) 1 Cook & Rhodes’ Bournder Ruby Empress, I just loved this red bitch for size, she is spot on, her head is textbook, very elegant neck set in correct shoulders, excellent front with good bone, just the right keel to give a great balance, didn’t she look stunning on the move.
