Thank you very much for inviting me to Judge apologise for any confusion, I recently changed my name from Joy Gonszor back to Joy Middleton. A massive thank you to everyone who entered and attended the show. Some cracking dogs to judge and I had a really good time despite being told I didn’t know what I was doing. I appreciate those who asked for my feedback and the decisions I had made. If you are going to talk about a judge and their decisions, please do this out of the ring and ideally at home not while standing in front of the judge. Or maybe you might want to ask the judge why they have made those decisions! I was alarmed at the amount of dogs who had retrained puppy teeth please do check your dogs before attending shows.
Long Haired Dachshunds.
Puppy Dog (2/1) !) Miss J Dimon, Labbadax Inspiration for Dimerlin. Lovely red dog. Still very young and very large in size. Loved well with drive from the rear. Toes in the rear going away but movement is still loose. Look forward to see him mature.
Junior Dog (1/0) 1) Mrs S Rodrigues, Darsoms Zantor. Would like to see more front. Lovely tight feet, hound like expression and in good condition. Held top line on the move and stacked. Another dog larger in size.
PG (1/0) 1 & RBD) Mr I and Mrs L Negus, Tarramist Iron Man. Red. Lovely dark pigment. Held top line on the move and staked. Presented well. Good length of neck into shoulders. Could like a little more upper arm. Rear moved with drive. Covered the ground well.
Open Dog (3/0) 1, BD & BOB) Mr I and MRs L Negus, Tarramist Dom Perignon. Lovely to see this dog mature. He has turned into a lovely dog. Well presented and in lovely condition. Held his top line on the move and stacked. Good depth of chest and nice amount of ground clearance. 2) Ms M & Mr D Hagan & Borsuk, Ir Ch Badamtam’s Via Baltica at Follypaws (IMP FIN). B/T. Chunky in type to one. Didn’t cover the ground as well as 1. Would like to see in harder condition. strode out well using extraction of the front well. 3) Ms M & Mr D Hagan & Borsuk, What a Corker at Follypaws.
Puppy Bitch (3/0) 1 & BP) Mr I and Mrs L Negus, Dachslur Diamond Desire at Tarramist. Nice smaller type. Well presented. Moves with drive from the rear. Look forward to seeing her develop. 2) Miss A Callow, Garthorne Gold Dust. Red. Less mature then 1. Movement was still lose but will come as she develops. Lovely head and expression, well presented. Held top line on the move and staked. 3) Mr A and Mrs L Fossett, Africandawns Night Lover for Brysdax.
Junior Bitch (1/0) 1 & BB) Mr P and Mrs D Clarke, Tekalhaus Million to One. Red. What a delight. Full of character which I could only hope to see more of. Presence in the ring from start to finish. Strides out covering the ground with ease. Correct size. Nice tight feet, well presented and well handled. Lovely front extension used well on the move, with power from a well muscled rear. Good dark pigment and lovely hound expression. Still young and I think the best is yet to come from her. I look forward to seeing her mature.
PG (0/0)
Open Bitch (3/0) 1 & RBB) Mr I and Mrs L Negus, Tarramist Krug Rose. Red. Smart and well presented. Holds top line well on the move and staked. Moves with drive from behind. 2) Miss J Dimon, Dimerlin Isolde. B/T. Nice to see an older bitch move well, just losing top line on the move. Lovely outline when staked. 3) Mr P and Mrs D Clarke, Tekalhaus Octopussy.
