A pleasant but chilly day. Always a nice welcome from the Committee. Thank
you to my steward who was most helpful. I was rather pleased to see them well
turned out. There was quality and was pleased with the overall entry and
results. Glad to find some smaller sized Longhaired dogs with quality, there is
an upper weight limit on these dogs, I would find it hard for some of them to
carry themselves all day long in fields and woodlands. But overall construction
was good. Standard Smooth's, the
temperament pleased me, and also the presentation was high. Good in general
health and hygiene, nice too report no bad teeth. I like to put up dogs that not
only represent the breed standard but also dogs that represent a dog able to do
what it was and still is bred for, the tracking, fit for purpose. Thank you for
your entries.
*DACHSHUND - STANDARD LONGHAIRED:
