PD (3) 1 Geeson’s Abydachs Return Of The Night. A very smart 9 months old quality youngster who has excellent conformation all through. Attractive in head and expression, pleasing neck and head carriage. True sound front and forequarters, ideal in width, with tight elbows. Pleasing development in body with good spring and ribbed well back with firm topline; more together than second. Stable, well angulated hindquarters, legs parallel of good width and strong. His side profile is balanced and of pleasing overall proportions. Moved with a true positive gait having extension and drive and was the better mover of the class . 2 Cook & Rhodes’ Abydachs Free Spirit For Bournder TAF. Litter brother of first and is of comparable make and shape. Attractive head both in characteristics, shape and expression. Well boned and well made in front although not as tight as first. Nicely developed body with good spring and is ribbed well back. Well angled hindquarters, parallel hocks which I preferred to third. Moved confidently with particularly good rear action. 3 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Dark Magic. A pleasing 9 month old B/T who has a particularly well made front and forechest. I would prefer him to be stronger in hindquarters and rear action both standing and on the move.
JD (1) 1 Roberts’ Swansford Gregorydor. An impressive 13 month old male who when standing and on the move is eyecatching displaying obvious quality in construction and breed characteristics. He is in good coat and condition and has a profile which is well defined and all in proportion and balance. Handsome breed typical head and expression. Super front and forechest and so well made in body and ribbing with a lovely top line and strong angled hindquarters; ideal in width all through. Impressed on the move with excellent extension in side gait and sound purposeful front and rear action. My Dog CC winner and Best of Breed and Hound Group 1.
YD (1) 1 Vincent’s Dolan Save The Last Dance For Gainscroft. A 20 mth old young male of pleasing overall make and shape. Attractive, breed typical, masculine head and expression. True, parallel front although would prefer a more obvious fore-chest and needs to tighten in elbows. Feet and nails need attention. Topline and rear ok. Moved with purpose but would like him to be more precise and more settled.
PGD (3, 1) 1 Wedge’s Dolan Johnny Be Good. A mature 2 year old well coated male who has a good outline, proportions and balance which I preferred to second. Masculine, typy head. Good forequarters and forechest, true enough in front but would prefer him to be slightly tighter in elbow. He has a good firm topline, a body of ideal proportions and nicely let down hindquarters. Moved well enough in front and rear and was more settled than second. 2 Paskin’s Kindeace Texas Ranger. A well coated 2 year old who has a very attractive head. Pleasing front and tight elbows. Overall body appeared longer than first and he tended to lose his topline. Balanced in angulations front and rear although I would prefer more width between his hocks both standing and on the move.
LD (2) 1 Paskin’s Cedavoch It’s Taboo At Kindeace. A mature rising 4 year old male who has pleasing construction all through. Handsome head and expression, which I preferred to second. Satisfactory in front although would prefer more obvious fore chest. Pleasing body, spring and ribbing, conformation and overall length. Firm, good length topline balanced in angulations front and rear. Long and low with enough clearance to move out with a free easy action and with more enthusiasm than second. 2 Garlick’s Ranglewood Harvest Song. A well coated rising 5 year old B/T who appeared to have more than enough body substance. Shapely in head but would prefer a more refined back skull. Plenty of width in front, well angulated front and rear. Good length well covered body. Looked to be laboured on the move.
VD (3, 1) 1 Garlick’s Ranglewood Arashi. A very attractive mature seven and a half yr old male who is well constructed and has a pleasing typical balanced well proportioned profile. Smart, attractive breed typical head set on a good length neck leading to good firm topline. Good spring and length of ribbing and loin, moderate in tuck up. Well angled hindquarters but could have more parallel width behind when standing and on the move. Reserve Dog CC and Best Veteran in Breed. 2 Brearley’s Labbadax Eyecatchin Shadow At Xanadax. Well coated, well bodied 8 year old B/T. Pleasing head shape and expression although was obviously not enjoying his day. Well bodied with firm enough topline. Tended to be laboured on the move.
PB (2, 1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Blithe Spirit. A shapely super 9 month old deep red, well grown young bitch in glistening condition and has a mature look. Pleasing overall make and shape, beautiful breed typical head and expression, well made true front with forechest and tight elbows to match. Pleasing topline and hindquarters on a sound body. Stands impressively over the ground. Moved out well with enough leg and ground clearance to move free and easily. Best Puppy in Breed and later Hound Group Puppy 2.
JB (4, 1) 1 Roberts’ Swansford Glendadora. A super quality 13 month old very impressive youngster who excels with her overall balance and quality profile. Litter sister to my Dog CC/BOB winner and shares many of his merits. Attractive head, eyes and expression. She has excellent ground covering movement and maintains her side profile the whole time. Pleasing front, body and rear construction with strong angulations front and rear; tight in elbows. Body of good length, firm and low to the ground. Moved out well and free. My Reserve Bitch CC Winner. 2 Taylor & Hilton’s Swansford Contagiadora Of Delsaux. A very nice 16 month old B/T who has good conformation and feminine breed type in appearance. Well shaped balanced head set correctly on good length neck. Dark eyes. Pleasing in body both length, cover, and angulations front and rear. Preferred front and forequarters to that of third. Moved well in front but would prefer a more settled action behind. 3 Wedge’s Dolan Summer Time Blues.
YB (4) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Custom Velvet. An impressive 2 year old who has a coat of pleasing condition. Lovely quality head and expression, head set well onto good length neck. Pleasing front and forequarters, tended to move wide in front. Well made moderately long body, firm topline, body all in proportion and balanced. Pleasing angulation front and rear. Moved the best of this class with particularly good rear action. 2 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Evil On My Mind. A 14 month old shapely bitch of pleasing overall construction being in good coat, well bodied with smart defined lines all through; all in proportion and balance giving an attractive standing side profile. Pleasing in overall length with a firm enough top line and strong angles. Well made front but needs to strengthen in rear. Moved out with a free action but not as settled as first in rear movement and tended to be fond of her tail. 3 Dollan & Ralston’s Bronia Red Velvet.
PGB (2) 1 Cheese’s Africandawns Heidi Clare At Suecaseus. A very nice quality 3 year old B/T well coated bitch who is attractive in side profile with good enough leg length. Lovely head. Well made in front and forequarters which I preferred to second. Satisfying in body having a pleasing overall make, shape and profile. Moved well enough especially in rear action. 2 Vincent’s Metadale Monica At Gainscroft. A two and a half year old Red who is in good coat and condition with a well defined side profile although she tended to drop and lose her topline on occasions. Attractive head with a pleasing expression, head set well onto good length neck. Well boned and bodied but would prefer more obvious sternum and better lay back. Movement needs to be more lively, tended to pull to the side.
LB (3) 1 Garlick’s Ranglewood Trick Or Treat. A rising 5 year old B/T who has an eyecatching standing profile but tended to drop into herself. Attractive in head both in shape and expression. Very satisfying overall make and shape. Pleasing in front, body proportions and balance and hindquarters. She was the better mover of this class. 2 Gillespie-Wren & Boyle’s Zarcrest Ava Gardner. Another mature rising 5 year old who was of breed typical appearance. Good coat and condition. Attractive head and expression. Satisfying in front and forequarters. Better in overall length and proportions to third. Needs to be more settled, especially in front, on the move. 3 McGavigan & Pettigrew’s Clentry Camellia For Pettigans.
OB (3) 1 Dare’s Darsoms Zymystique. A mature, breed typical 2 year old quality red who presents a striking overall appearance both standing and on the move. Impressive coat and condition. She has a quality, a fit appearance and impresses with her free and easy action with true extension in front and good width and drive behind. Sound in conformation and is so pleasing to go over. She has an attractive head and expression which is breed typical and feminine. True tight front, quality in body condition, clean lines all through with good length of neck, firm level topline with balance in angulations front and rear. Strong, pleasing forechest, true front with tight elbows and sound body with proportional width all through. My Bitch CC winner. 2 Miller & Ryan’s Ch Bronia Final Fantasy At Cavallibrook (AI) JW. A super typy 3 year old who was shown in pristine coat and condition. She has excellent head and neck carriage which compliments her overall shape. Lovely head set on good length strong neck, true front, firm body and satisfying in angulations front and rear. Overall generally well constructed and projects a breed typical, quality appearance. Confident mover with true front action but was not moving well behind. 3 Geeson’s Abydachs Fire In Her Soul.
VB (1) 1 Ch Abydachs Summer Dream At Kindeace ShCM. An 11 year old having an appearance that belies her years. She is of quality both in make and shape. Good coat and condition. Lovely head and expression. Pleasing front, body and angulations front and rear. Free moving but tended to pull to one side.
