Longhaired Dachshund.
I would like to thank the committee for inviting me to judge the Longhaired Dachshunds , This is my first time in giving CC'S in this breed i found the quality and temperaments excellent and size have improved , considering the hot weather we were having the dogs seemed to cope very well. Not sure about the exhibitors though, thank you all for my entries
PD (4.0). 1ST Robert's,Swansford Gregorydor,.11mth red dog lovely head with dark eye, good length of neck into well placed shoulders, correct front and well ribbed back and short in the loin well angulated quarters which showed on the move true coming and going nice overall balanced dog. 2nd Geeson's Abydachs Return of the night, i really liked this puppy 6mths old still a raw baby lovely head & expression correct front and tight elbows, good length of ribbing and rear angulation moved out well for his age. one to watch in the future, 3rd Geeson's Abydachs Darkest Night.

Linacre's Swansford Carazondor, S/R masculine head & dark eye lovely length of neck into well placed shoulders prominent forechest & tight elbows well sprung ribs good rear quarters needs to settle on the move will come with maturity. 2nd Haye’s Swansford Clusterdor i see he is litter brother to my winner, have all the attributes of 1, just preferred the overall balance
SB (2.0) 1st Vincent's Dolan Save the Last Dance for Gainscroft. Liked this dog on his size lovely coat ,masculine head & Dark eye & good reach of neck well laid shoulders nice tight feet good spring of rib slightly longer in loin needs to settle on the move. 2nd wedges Dolan Johnny be good very similar in type to 1 nice size good coat just preferred the front to my winner moved ok
PGD (1.0) 1 Chapman's Africandawns Just n Time Melminds S/R longer in length good coat masculine head & expression flowing neck into well placed shoulders tad short in ribbing ,muscular quarters moved out well holding his topline.
LD (3.0) this was a really nice class, these three could change places any time, 1st Cross Loggeta trouble in Texas. Liked this dog on his overall balance masculine head & dark eye flowing neck into well placed shoulders, well back ribs carried into strong loin good bone and substance kept his topline on the move , please to award him the RDCC. 2nd Marks Labbadax Lewisville Texas, slightly longer in loin than 1 ,super head & expression leading into well placed shoulders very good shoulder placement strong rear quarters which showed in his free movement. just preferred the overall balance of my winner.3rd Garlick's Ranglewood Harvest Song.

VD (4.0) 1 Cooke & Rhodes Abydachs Rides the Storm to Bournder, this dog has style on entering the ring he caught my eye, presented to perfection, At eleven & half yrs old he was in great condition lovely coat head and expression well filled front with excellent shoulders , well arched neck ,well sprung ribs and good rear quarters, he moved out with style and purpose even though it was hot he covered the ground well, CC & BOB shortlisted in the veteran group ,delighted to have made him up .2 Chapmans Melminds Zsylvester. PB (5.1) 1ST Whitfield-Roberts Swansford Gleighdora TAF 11mth red bitch in good coat ,pretty head & dark eye lovely length of neck into correct shoulders good front and feet, ribs well back moved out well keeping her topline. One to watch in the future 2nd Garlick's Ranglewood Islay, slightly finer in body than 1 good coat , loved her head into a well arched neck, prominent front & keel well back good spring of rib , would prefer a tad more rear angulation moved ok. 3rd Brooke's Ranglewood Gigha At Kyrenia.
JB(6.0) 1st Robert's Swansford Glenadora, this 11mth red girl took my eye on entering the ring she has presence & Style , beautiful conical head & dark eye with that soft expression, lovely flowing lines all through , excellent front & keel well back , good length of ribbing and strong quarters. she excelled on the move true fore & aft holding her topline please to award her BCC & BP .2nd Chapman's Melminds Maybelline 14 mths pretty head & eye ok length of neck leading into well angulated shoulders, good spring of rib moved out well keeping her topline. 3rd Wedge's Dolan Summertime Blues.
SBB 1st Vincent's Metadale Monica at Gainscroft. , feminine head & almond eye lovely length of neck prominent front & deep forechest with good ground clearance, ribs well back a bit close behind on the move won Best special Beginners over the dog on balance.

S/R Bitch of good size well in proportion good bone and substance lovely feminine head, good length of neck well placed shoulders moved out well holding her topline. 3rd Cheese's Titania at Suecaseus.
