I would like to thank the Committee for my invitation to judge, and also to the Exhibitors who gave me a quality entry.

Veteran Dog or Bitch 2 ent.

1.      Garlick’s Ranglewood Arashi, 7yr old red dog. He has an excellent forechest, correct shoulder placement, good length of ribbing. He covered the ground well, lovely free mover. BV.

2.       Geeson’s Ch./Bel/Lux/ Int Ch. Abydachs Giving Off Sparks, a red lady, elegant head carriage, ribbed well back. Totally different type to my winner. I guess these 2 change paces frequently.

Puppy Dog 3 ent.

1.      Dare’s Darsoms Zoldare, 11 month old red. Correct shoulder placement, good keel, prosternum lower than most. Good reach of neck, ribbing goes well back, good rear end, moved positively.

2.       Geeson’s Abydachs Return Of The Night, 9month old, loved his head, excellent shoulders, with prosternum, good length of rib. Again, a different type to my winner.

3.      Cook and Rhodes’ Abydachs Free Spirit For Bournder.

 

Junior Dog 2.ent.

1.      McNaughton’s Cedavoch Dark Magic,11 month b/t, handsome head, good shoulder placement, good length of rib. When he realised that the floor was shiny, and not slippery, he settled and moved well, covering the ground with ease. Res CC. BPD BPI B

2.       Geeson’s Abydachs Darkest Night, dark sh.red, elegant head, brother to the 2^nd in PD.

Post Grad Dog.1 ent.

1.      Wedge’s Dolan Johnny Be Good, 2yr old red. Good prosternum, correct shoulders, good length of ribbing. Confident well trained boy.

Limit Dog 1 ent.

1.       Paskin’s Kindeacre Texas Ranger, dark red boy, who really didn’t put a foot wrong today. Not a glamour boy, but a good solid example of the breed. He has masculine head, good length of neck, good prosternum, good spring of rib accompanied by good length of ribbing, strode out well, totally parallel fore and aft. Dog CC.

Open Dog 3 ent.

1.      Hayes’ Swansford Clusterdor Mit Dialhouse, 18 mth old dark sh.red, strode out with confidence, earning his place today, carried head well, good length of neck, good length of ribbing, correct angulation.

2.      Garlick’s Ranglewood Harvest Song, 5yr old b/t, lovely head, good shoulders, moved positively, but a tad overweight.

3.       Paskin’s Cedavoch It’s Taboo At Kindeacre, a very smart dog, who sadly was limping in the ring today.

Puppy Bitch 3 ent.

1.      McNaughton’s Cedavoch Spellbound,11 mth old red girl, very elegant, good prosternum, well sprung ribbing, carried well back, excellent shoulder placement, well angulated behind, sound positive mover.

2.      Dare’s Darsoms Zendra, 11mth red, good length of rib, well angulated, preferred head of the winner, but little separates these two structurally.

3.      Garlick’s Ranglewood Islay.

Junior Bitch 2 ent.

1.      Wedge’s Dolan Summer Time Blues, 15 mth old confident youngster, good head, correct proportions.

2.      Foley’s Loggetta Wynn By Myles, a lovely youngster, who sadly threw away her chances, following an encounter outside the ring. I was unable to assess her, but I’m sure with perseverance, she will be back showing her attributes.

Post Grad Bitch 1 ent.

1.Taylor and Hilton’s Swansford Contagiadora of Delsaw, b/t bitch, lovely head, sufficient neck. She was so excited I Found her difficult to assess.

 

Limit Bitch 3 ent. 1 abs.

Best class of the day for me.

1.      Dare’s Coronadora Darsoms, 18 mth b/t girl. Wow! She is just my” Cup of Tea”, I could find nothing about her to dislike. Beautiful head, carried proudly on elegant neck, well sprung ribbing, carried well back. Excellent shoulders, lovely hind angulation. She flowed round the ring. CC and BOB. Later I was so proud to see her awarded BIS. ( Afterwards, her owner told me, that she had only owned her for a few weeks, wish she was mine!)

2.      2.Mitchell’s Bronia Custom Velvet,2yr old red, again, no obvious faults, elegant head, good length of neck, well ribbed, movement top notch. Res CC.

2.  McNaughton’s Cedavoch Evil On My Mind, 18mth red, feminine head, good neck, excellent shoulder angulation. Moved well.
