I would like to thank the club and committee for inviting me to judge the long dogs, it was a privillage as this was my first set of ccs.

Veteran Dog (2)
1st: GARLICK Ranglewood Arashi. What a lovely chap especially for his age. His coat is looking amazing and he moves well going round the ring. carries his topline well no the stance and on the move. Good length of ribbing.
2nd: CHAPMAN Melminds Zsylvester ShCM. Another lovely veteran. Moved well lovely head. And good ear set. Good coat for age, good length of ribbing and nice rear angulation.

Minor Puppy Dog  (2)
1st: ROBERTS Swansford Alexador. Really nice young puppy. Lovely coat, sweet masculine head. Correct bite. Nice tight elbows and lovely proportions. Moved round ring with ease even for such a young pup. best puppy dog.
2nd: VINCENT Gainscroft Dashing Dudley.

Puppy Dog (2)
1st: VINCENT Gainscroft Dark Destroyer. Sweet pup, nice coat and sweet head. Good bite. Nice almond eyes. Moved well.
2nd: BURLEY & WAY Swansford Archerdor. Another sweet pup but just wasn’t his day today. Nice head, good almond eyes and correct ear set. Moved okay.
Junior Dog (2, 1 Abs)
1st: GEESON Abydachs Return of the Night. Beautiful young dog who has a super hound head and lovely eyes. His dog has a super well put together front with lovely forchest, carries his topline so well on the move and just moves with ease going round the ring. Pleased to award the RCC.

Post Graduate Dog (1)
1st: VINCENT Dolan Save the Last Dance for Gainscroft. Good head with a nice correct bite and reach of neck. Neat outline.  would prefer more length of upper arm. However, well angulated rear which he used well on the move to drive around the ring.
Limit Dog (3)
1st:  CHAPMAN Africandawns Justin N Time for Melminds. Nice dog. Lovely coat and with a nice sheen to it. Good topline that he carries well on the stand on when moving. Well placed shoulders and good rear angulation.
2nd: BROOKE Ranglewood Oberon for Kyrenia. Sweet head nice coat. Moved okay, nice tight elbows and good feet.

3rd: EVE Sundayshill Benedict
Open Dog (4)
1st:  ROBERTS Ch Swansford Gregorydor. Super dog of lovely size, beautiful masculine head with almond eyes. Good forchest and well placed shoulders. Nice tight elbows. Lovely topline which he carrys so well on the move as he moves with elegance and strides out so well. Was super pleased to award him the cc who then went of to get best of breed with the agreement of the bitch judge.

2nd: BURKE Bonavoir Secret Assigment. Nice black and tan dog, super hound head and lovely shapes eyes and really good ear set. Good topline an moved well going round the ring. nice tight elbows and well placed shoulders.
3rd:  CROSS Ch Loggeta Trouble in Texas

1st: ROBERTS Ch Swansford Gabriedor. This is another nice dog from this kennel, overall shape and balance is good moves well and stides with ease round the ring. beautiful head and very pleasing eye.

Minor Puppy Bitch 4(1)

1.     Moorat's LANGLEBURY ELECTRA.  Nice shaded red baby with a beautiful head. Good bone and substance, prominent forechest and well angulated front and rear.  Moved really well for such a baby. Best Puppy Bitch and BPIB.

2.     Vincent's GAINSCROFT DOLLY'S DINA.  Black and tan baby with a nice feminine head. Good bone and substance, long ribbing and a strong topline.  Balanced throughout.  Just needs a little more confidence both standing and on the move.

3.     Foley's BEAUTY LONG

Puppy Bitch 1

1.     Burley & Way's SWANSFORD ALMADORA.  Nice type of shaded red puppy.  Well proportioned with good quarters and strong topline.  Not as refined in head as minor puppy winner.  Moved well and confidently but just a bit limited in extension today.

Junior Bitch 3

1.     McNaughton's CEDAVOCH BLITHE SPIRIT.  Quality shaded red of good proportions. Feminine head and expression.  Good angulation front and rear, prominent forechest. Ribbing carried well back and a strong even topline.  Moved really well covering the ground with ease.  CC however, threw her chances away in BOB by giving her handler a hard time on the move.

2.     Garlick's RANGLEWOOD ISLAY Taller shaded red bitch with the most beautiful head and eye.  Strong muscled neck into a good front. Good strong topline though just appearing a little square at the rear today.  Moved sound and true just not the drive of the winner today

3.     Chapman's MELMINDS MERYL STREEP

Yearling Bitch 3

1.     Chapman's MELMINDS MAYBELLINE. Nice quality shaded red bitch.  Good head and eye.  Well filled prominent forechest. Balanced angulation front and rear.  Strong topline that she held standing and moving. Moved sound and true at all times but would just liked to have seen a bit more drive and extension today.

2.     Foley's LOGGETA WYNN BY MILES.  Shaded red bitch who was just not happy today. Well proportioned with good bone and substance. Was not happy on the table and this lack of confidence also unfortunately affected her on the move and made assessment very difficult.

3.     Lewis's MIMOSA RUDE

Novice Bitch 1

1.     Colman's HANNAH RED. Shaded red bitch with a lovely head and eye. Balanced fore and aft.  Moved very smartly with confidence but just tending to arch her topline a little on the move today.  Feet need a little tidying.

Graduate Bitch 1

1.     Brookes RANGLEWOOD SKYE BY KYRENIA.  Shaded red bitch with a lovely head and eye.  Good neck into clean shoulders.  Strong, even topline and well angulated quarters. Moved positive and true but would like to see a little more extension.

Post Graduate Bitch 2

1.     Whitfield-Roberts SWANSFORD GLEIGHDORA  Shaded red bitch of nice type and proportions.  Prominent forechest and well angulated front and rear.  Good ribbing carried well back. Strong, even topline which she held at all times.  Moved well fore and aft and in profile. Res. CC

2.     Chapman's MELMINDS MAKE THEM GOLD. Taller, elegant red bitch with a lovely head and eye.  Good well muscled neck.  Balanced throughout with a strong topline both standing and on the move. Moved well but just not matching the freedom and drive of the winner today.

Limit Bitch 3

1.     Eve's SUNDAYSHILL HERMIONE.  Shaded red bitcch with nice head and neck. Prominent forechest, good ribbing carried through .  Strong even topline which she held on the move.  Balanced proportions and angulation.  Moved well but would just like to have seen more drive and extension today.

2.     Cheese's RANGLEWOOD TITANIA AT SUECASEUS.  Feminine red bitch with a pretty head.  Good neck and topline.  Balanced angles in front and rear.  Moved sound and true at all times.  Just not the head and forechest of winner today.

3.     Brookes' RANGLEWOOD GIGHA  AT KYRENIA

Open Bitch 5(1)

1.     Garlick's RANGLEWOOD TRICK OR TREAT.  Very feminine black and tan bitch who carried herself with elegance and style.  Nice head and eye.  Good neck, forechest and ribbing.  Strong even topline at all times.  Moved well with purpose just lacking the finish and furnishings in the challenge today.

2.     Robert's SWANSFORD GLENDADORA.  Shaded red bitch with a nice head and eye. Good bone, substance and width throughout.  Balanced angles front and rear.  Moved well, sound and true away and back and in profile.  Just preferred the overall proportions of winner today.

3.     Moorat's ANTON FIREFLY TO LANGLEBURY

Champion Bitch 3(1)

1.     McNaughton's CH.CEDAVOCH SPELLBOUND. Dark shaded red bitch with good bone and substance.  Very good forechest and length of ribbing.  Strong even topline at all times.  Well angulated shoulders and quarters that she used well on the move.

2.     Geeson's CH ABYDACHS FIRE IN HER SOUL.  Red bitch of different proportions and type.  Lovely head and very good neck. Good topline which she held well. Lovely ribbing carried well back with a short strong loin.  Balanced throughout. Presented in first class condition. Moved around the ring with elegance and style but just not the drive and extension of winner today.
