I would like to the the Scottish Kennel Club for inviting me to judge, at this my first judging appointment giving CCs. Thank you for your entry. I had some fabulous dogs to go over.

PD (1) 1 Roberts’ Swansford Alexador. Smart puppy of 9 mths old. I found him to be very well balanced throughout. Fabulous head, lovely reach of neck, shoulders of correct angulation giving him that good prominent forechest, good length of ribbing. Super hammy hindquarters giving him the powering action to just drive around the ring with ease. BP.

JD (1) 1 Cook & Rhodes’ Abydachs Free Spirit For Bournder. Nice youngster of just 16 mths, nice head of correct proportions. Level topline which he maintained all the time. Nice length of ribbing, short loin. He is very promising. But unfortunately he was very unsettled on the day and wasn’t giving his all.

PGD (1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Dark Magic. Black /tan. Loved his type, lovely head, nice front, ample width, lovely reach of neck going on to well angulated shoulders, good length of ribbing and undercarriage. Nice rear angulation. He just flowed around the ring. Super coat, groomed to perfection. A credit to his owner. RCC.

OD (4) 1 Roberts’ Ch Swansford Gregorydor. Loved this boy, caught my eye and he didn’t disappoint. Full of breed type throughout, lovely masculine head going onto a good reach of neck, good length of ribbing, short strong loin, good correct front and rear angulation giving him that fabulous free flowing true movement. He was presented in fabulous tip top condition as always from this kennel. I was delighted to award him the DCC & BOB. 2 Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Metadale Monterey Jack. Another quality exhibit, nice head and reach of neck, good length of ribbing and undercarriage. Looked good stacked and on the move. Just preferred the reach and drive of one. 3 Pike & Carter’s Zarcrest George Clooney.

JB (1) 1 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Blyth Spirit. Super head of correct type, prominent forechest, good depth of keel, excellent front and rear drive, nicely balanced throughout.

PGB (2) 1 Nicholson’s Zarcrest Jennifer Lawrence At Betsymira. Nice head and dark eye, long, low and level, maintaining her topline at all times, moved well coming towards and away. 2 Dollan’s Bronia Red Velvet. Nice head and kind expression, good length of ribbing and undercarriage. Just preferred the movement of one today.

LB (3) 1 Whitfield-Roberts’ Swansford Gleighdora. Very nice bitch of nice size and type, feminine head, great head carriage, good spring of rib, nice short loin, good front and rear angulation which she made full use of, she moved like she owned the ring with her excellent ring presence. Was pleased to award her the BCC. 2 Metcalfe-Bilgin’s Metadale Margarita. Another quality exhibit from this kennel Liked her size, super profile, moved well coming towards and away, preferred the ring presence of one. 3 Pike & Carter’s Zarcrest Angelina Jolie At Breezelyn.

OB (3 1) 1 Mitchell’s Bronia Custom Velvet. Lovely head and expression, great reach of neck going onto good shoulder placement, good length and spring of rib nice rear angulation giving good reach and drive. RCC. 2 McNaughton’s Ch Cedavoch Spellbound. Liked her a lot, shaded red with a feminine expression, very well balanced, good front and rear movement. I feel these two could exchange places many times, close decision between these two, very well turned out.
