1st: 3246 WILKINSON & WAKEHAM’S Bronia Luciano
Well-proportioned conical head with a pleasing dark eye and good expression. Good forechest and well-shaped feet. Presented a balanced outline with sufficient ground clearance and moved steadily in profile, although could be tidier going away. Overall, his balance and construction won him the class and ultimately BD & BOB.
2nd: 3236 HENDREN & COOPER’S Bronia Leonardo
Pleasing conical head with a nice eye and expression. Balanced overall, with a well-shaped croup and good feet. Shorter in upper arm than the winner, which restricted his forward reach. Nevertheless, a pleasing young dog with much to like.
3rd: 3239 PARROTT & CLIFTON’S Davydon Ocean Breeze
Nice head and expression. A little unsettled and skittish on the day, which made assessment more difficult, but when settled showed acceptable profile movement.

21 months, black and tan. Pleasing head and expression with a lovely dark eye. Overall balance is good and he was presented in good coat. Would prefer firmer, better-shaped feet. On the move he tended to pull himself along through the front rather than driving effectively from the rear, which affected the overall efficiency of his gait.

Conical head with a pleasing dark eye. Lacking somewhat in upper arm, which restricted both the forward reach and the rear drive I was looking for. Consequently, he did not cover the ground as efficiently as I would have liked. Topline could be firmer, particularly on the move. RBD.

7 months, black and tan. A promising, well-balanced baby presenting a smart outline. Sufficient forechest for her age and good feet. Parallel out and back, although as yet she does not achieve the forward reach I would ultimately like and still has the typical looseness of a young puppy behind. Plenty of time for everything to strengthen and come together. BPIB.

18 months. Feminine conical head with a dark eye and pleasing expression. Dentition not quite ideal. Feet and pasterns acceptable. Falls away slightly through the croup and has a slight rise over the loin, which detracts from her outline when standing. Settled well on the move, although a little close going away. RBB.

1st: 3237 NORRIS’ Hortensia Rude Amoredax (Imp Ltu)
More compact in outline, but well muscled and nicely balanced. Good head and eye, sufficient forechest and a well-shaped croup. Good feet and moved efficiently, maintaining her balance. Not carrying her best coat today, but her construction and movement won her the class.
2nd: 3243 REID’S Cavallibrook One Final Kiss At Maudaxi
Pleasing headpiece and a good front assembly. Needed to be cleaner in rear movement to take the class today. Nevertheless, there was much to like and I could readily see these two changing places on another day.
3rd: 3240 PARTRIDGE’S Pettigans Viva La Vida By Riveroyal JW
Pleasing head with nice chiselling and sufficient forechest. A little over-angulated behind, which affected her ability to generate the rear drive I was looking for.

Balanced, feminine head with a lovely dark eye and pleasing expression. Would prefer a little more padding to the feet, but she has a decent front assembly, sufficient forechest and a well-shaped croup. Clean and parallel out and back, with an easy, efficient gait in profile. Her overall balance and movement secured her BB.
