VD (3) 1 Norton’s Ch Matzell Majestic. Super 9 years young b/t in excellent bloom, never putting a foot wrong moving, super outline with elegance and substance, pressed hard in the challenge. 2 Wolage’s Ch Matzell Marmaduke. Lovely red of similar shape to 1, short in upper arm and length of ribbiing, keeping a lovely outline when stacked. 3 Jeffery’s Roleta Choisya Sundance at Andax. Ch/t boy rather sluggish in movement on the day, lovely head and neck and super bone, coat not at its best yet.

SpPD (5) 1 Armstrong’s Lauralee Lloyd George. Stylish b/t being the most mature and finished here, correct shoulder and hind angulation, beautifully presented, moving true both ways and with an excellent length of stride, just needs to finish length of ribbing and with maturity will do well. 2 Dent’s Lauralee Dylan Thomas Von Dachstein. Not as mature as 1 and shoulder placement not quite as good, clean outline and similar in type to 1, needs to steady in movement. 3 Woolage’s Matzell Milord. Lovely type but still immature b/t, well-placed shoulders with correct length of ribbing, pleasing head and neck, now needs maturity to drop into his crook and develop in hindquarters.

SpJD (2) 1 Lusk’s Cedavoch Celebdil. Sound b/t, nothing glamorous but everything in the right place, would prefer more of him all over, good shoulder placement and hind angulation, moving with drive. 2 Cawley & King’s Riguysa Seven of Nine for Summer View. Very different type ch/t, smart and in hard condition, not the length of ribbing of 1 but should mature on even further, very happy and enjoying his day out.

PGD (3) 1 Marsh’s Marshwick Mandolin. Old fashioned heavier type b/t boy, superb bone and hind angulation, short in upper arm and very little drive in hind movement, good outline when stacked.

LD (7) Good quality class and some close decisions headed by 1 Walkley’s Follycot Bar The Rest by Churchoak. Obviously my type of houndy dog, super bone, shoulder placement and length of ribbing, masculine head set on reachy neck, keeping good outline at all times, a lesson on movement with length of stride and hind drive, pressed hard in the challenge but rather fidgety and so lost out. 2 Girven’s Marictur Mansfield. Simillar type to 1, presented well and in lovely condition, lower to ground but not as positive in front movement or with the drive of 1. 3 Wolage’s Matzell Moritz, smaller, neater red, lovely pro-sternum, excellent length of ribbing and good feet, well put together all through but could be better in hind quarters.

OD (6) 1 Lovick-Gibbs’ Champion Roleta Play Wright. A lovely balanced b/t boy I have not seen for some time, nor had the pleasure of going over. No exaggerations, good bone, shoulder angulation and length of ribbing, a lovely natural stance and moving steadily and with drive, never stopped showing to gain the DCC. 2 Bethel’s Champion Hampdach Autumn Quest. A showy red I have often admired, elegant, stylish and with super floowing movement, beautifully handled to his best advantage, the best of forehands but longer in loin than 1 and therefore not as strong in topline, pleased to give him the Res CC. 3 Hunt’s Ch D’Arisca Class Distinction at Carpaccio. Smart ch/t of different type - being shorter and cobbier, excellently handled to show off his finer points, not the balance or hind drive of the first two.

VB (1) 1 Turner’s Ch Marictur Marnie. Lovely feminine ‘nearly 9’ b/t, well balanced with pretty head set on reachy neck, good fore and hind angulation, moving steadily and truly booth ways and enjoying herself, pressed hard in the challenge.

SpPB (5) 1 Norton’s Matzell Melua. Just my type of b/t with super oval chest and lovely outline standing, good bone and so well balamced, maturing well and much improved movement, winning BPIB on her overall good balance and length of ribbing. 2 Lovick-Gibbs’ Roleta Indulgence, close decision here, very feminine b/t with super head and neck, moving with drive and well angulated fore and aft, not quite the topline of 1. 3 Smallpage’s Tendrow Star Sapphire Over Merumist. Pretty b/t not as mature as the first two, losing her topline at times & more expreience for both exhibit and handler will help in overall presentation, not the hind movement of 1 and 2.

SpJB (5) 1 Armstrong’s Lauralee Under Milk Wood. Smart &and tidy b/t puppy, lovely head, shoulders and forechest, keeping a correct outline at all times, ribbing still needs to lengthen and I would prefer more hind drive. 2 Burke and Manston’s Bonavoir Griannan, longer set ch/t girl with lovely forehand and hind angulation, again rather longer in loin, not as positive in movement as 1. 3 Cooper’s Sontag Tina Peaches. Upstanding b/t of quality with the best of fronts and shoulders, longer in upper thigh than 1 and 2, losing out on lack of hind angulation.

PGB (12) Difficult class with several different types but pleased with my first 4 here. 1 Burke and Manston’s Bonavoir Copppelia. Lovely b/t well balanced girl, super fore and aft construction, well handled and lovely outline at all times, moving truly coming and going. 2 Dalgety’s Thundergay Bohemiene, very similar in type and close up to 1, super bone, ribbing and overall correct construction, not moving quite as well behind as 1. 3 Walkley’s Churchoak Naught Nun - living well up to her name a pretty, flight ch/tan miss, maturing on well and moving with verve and hind drive, not as welll balanced through the loin or the body length of 1 and 2.

LB (6) 1 Furber’s Dorysa Dyddanwy. The first of two longer, more elegant bitches in the class, very well balanced, good head on reachy neck, good shoulder angulation and length of ribbing, clean lines and in lovely bloom, movement with drive. 2 Trafford’s Dabrenhof Sally Ann, very similar type to 1, super front, shoulder placement, head and neck, eye-catching type with a mind of her own, slightly longer in loin than 1. 3 McNaughton’s Cedavoch Integrity. Shorter type bitch but still well balanced, lovely shoulder and hind angulation, shown excellently, preferred overall length of 1 and 2.

OB (8) Lovely quality class headed by 1 Dalgety’s Ch Thundergay Lady Be Good, elegant, quality b/t bitch shown sympathetically, lovely clean lines and in super condition, the best of shoulder construction, ribbing and bone, excellent lenth and balance coupled with eye-catching flowing stride and movement with drive, delighted to award her the BCC. 2 Norton’s Ch Matzell Majana. Mature b/t rather heavier in front than 1. Lovely outline at all times and the best of shoulder and hind angulation, not quite the hind drive of 1, richly deserving the RBCC. 3 Turner’s Ch Marictur Miss Midnight. Pretty b/t with a classic outline, feminine head on reachy neck and moving well fore and aft, just not enough of her for me.
